Ta-Ha 71: (Pharaoh) said; “Did you believe their Lord, before I gave you permission? Truly, he is your master who has taught sorcery to you. Now, without hesitation, I will cut your hands and feet cross-wise and hang you on date tree branches. Then you will understand whose punishment is more severe and more enduring.”

Translation

(Pharaoh) said; “Did you believe their Lord, before I gave you permission? Truly, he is your master who has taught sorcery to you. Now, without hesitation, I will cut your hands and feet cross-wise and hang you on date tree branches. Then you will understand whose punishment is more severe and more enduring.”

Tafsir

Pharaoh, enraged by the sorcerers coming to faith in the face of the Truth, said to the sorcerers, "You believed in Moses and Aaron without my permission? Then he said (the truth is that he is your master who taught you magic). Pharaoh, in his own mind, pretending that he did not believe in the miracle shown by Allah to Musa 'alaihis-salâm', said that the miracle shown by Musa 'alaihis-salâm' was magic and that the sorcerers were your elders who taught you magic.

Pharaoh addressed the sorcerers, expressing his anger, and at the same time, in the pain of being defeated and humiliated in front of his people, in order to show himself strong to his people and his surroundings, he said to the sorcerers, "Now I will cut off your hands and feet crosswise without hesitation and hang you on palm branches, so that you will understand which of us is more severe and lasting in punishment.

Pharaoh tormented people outside his dynasty for the rest of their lives. However, human life is mortal and temporary. After a certain time, man will taste death. With the death of man, his torments and torments will come to an end. However, since he was unaware of the torment of an eternal life in the Hereafter where there is no more death, he could not compare the punishment he inflicted on people in the worldly world with the torment of the Hereafter, realizing that their torment is continuous. He assumed that his punishment would be permanent and severe. On the other hand, when the magicians believed in the Truth and saw the right path, they told Pharaoh about the beautiful Hereafter so that he would come to them. They try to explain to Pharaoh how the punishment will be severe and lasting.

What is said in the video

Yes.

Surah Ta-Ha, verse 71. Pharaoh said: "You believed in him before I gave you permission, is that so? The truth is that he is your chief who taught you magic," he says this time. Because he himself is a god, you see. There is no other god. That is, no deity. So it is as if he himself were the creator of the worlds, the poor wretch, unaware of the worlds and unaware of himself. Believing there is no god other than himself, what does this poor man say? "He is your chief, your elder who taught you magic. Now I will cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides without hesitation, and I will hang you on palm branches," he says.

"Then you will clearly understand which of us has the more severe and lasting punishment," he says. Pharaoh, enraged that the magicians came to faith before the Truth, says to the magicians: "You believed in Moses and Aaron without my permission, is that so?" and then: "The truth is that he is your chief who taught you magic," he said. By his own reckoning, Pharaoh, as he did not seem to believe in the miracle Moses (peace be upon him) showed from Allah, called the miracle Moses (peace be upon him) showed sorcery, and to the magicians he said, "He is your elder who taught you magic."

Addressing the magicians, Pharaoh voiced his anger; at the same time, in the pain of defeat, because he had been humiliated before his people, to show himself strong to his people and those around him, by punishing the magicians and intimidating those around him as well, he said to the magicians: "Now your hands and feet I will cut off on opposite sides without hesitation, and I will hang you on palm branches. Then you will clearly understand which of us has the more severe and lasting punishment," he said. Yet the torment you inflicted on people in the world, compared to the hereafter, even if one endured sixty years of torment, is like an hour, an hour and a half.

If a thousand years (?) are like one day of the hereafter, then if there for thousands of years you remain subjected to torment, then whose torment is more lasting you will understand much better. Before even going to the hereafter, before going to the hereafter, in this world, in this world, when Allah Almighty said, "Today We will save your lifeless body as a lesson for the worlds," yes, today (?) in London (?) although his corpse was found in prostration, they have laid it on its side. They have laid it on its side. So, in this situation, before even going to the hereafter, he is suffering the punishment of the grave.

Because Allah Almighty says so in His verse. "The most severe of punishments," He says, "is in the hereafter." What does this mean? In the hereafter, before the questioning even begins, he is suffering the punishment of the grave. Yes. Pharaoh constantly torments the people living outside his own dynasty throughout their lives. Yet human life is mortal and transient. After a certain time, man will taste death. With a person's death, the torments and sufferings he endured will come to an end. But since he was unaware of the torment of an endless life in the hereafter, where there is no more death, thinking that with the punishment he gave to people in this world their torment was lasting, he could not compare it with the torment of the hereafter and its permanence.

He thought the punishment he would give was lasting and severe. The magicians, on the other hand, having believed in the Truth and seen the right path, to Pharaoh give news of the hereafter very beautifully, so that he might come to his senses. They try to explain to Pharaoh how severe and lasting the punishment will be.
