Tafsir
After the sorcerers believed, they continued to speak to Pharaoh with the mercy that Allah (swt) had bestowed upon them: "We have realized our mistakes and we have believed in Allah (swt) to seek forgiveness from Allah (swt) for the sorcery that you forced us to perform, and Allah is the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful. His reward is the best. It is the eternal and everlasting abode of paradise. And the punishment is the abode of Hell, the abode of eternal and everlasting torment. What an evil bed it is, and what an evil place of return.
What is said in the video
Surah Ta-Ha, verse 73. So that He forgives our faults and the magic you forced us to perform, we have believed in our Lord, it says. Who says it? The magicians are addressing Pharaoh. What do they say? Our faults and the magic you forced us to perform – so that He forgives them, we have believed in our Lord. Allah is the best in reward and the most lasting in punishment, it says. Yes. Mashallah. Their turning away from that sorcery like this and their defiance – truly, how much a faith them – how much they consciously believe in Allah's existence and have faith: this is what makes a person thus burst out against his enemy as well.
After believing, the magicians, with the mercy Allah Almighty had granted them, continue to speak against Pharaoh. We have understood our faults, and for the magic you made us do by force we have believed in Allah, to beg Allah for our forgiveness. Allah is abundant in forgiveness and mercy. His reward is the best. It is the abodes of Paradise, everlasting forever. His punishment is the most lasting: the abode of hell, a place of eternal, endless torment. What an evil bed it is, and what an evil place of return. May Allah protect us all from it. Yes.
