Upon this, he (Pharaoh) followed them with his soldiers. The sea buried and drowned them.
Tafsir
One day, Pharaoh heard that Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) was leaving the city with the Children of Israel, and he went after Hazrat Musa and his people with his soldiers. He trapped Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) near the Red Sea. However, by Allah's command, Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' struck the sea with his staff and the water of the sea opened up on both sides like mountains. Hadrat Musa and his people entered the path opened in the sea and crossed to the other side, while Pharaoh, with his soldiers, entered the path opened in the sea by Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm'. Then the sea closed on both sides and destroyed Pharaoh and his soldiers. They drown in the Red Sea.
What is said in the video
In Surah Ta-Ha, verse 78, it says: Thereupon he, with his soldiers, went after them, and the sea buried and drowned them.
The next day Pharaoh hears that Moses (peace be upon him) has taken the Children of Israel and left the city; with his soldiers he goes after Moses and his people. He corners Moses (peace be upon him) beside the Red Sea. But by Allah's command Moses (peace be upon him) strikes the sea with his staff, and the water of the sea, like mountains, opens to both sides. Moses and his people enter this path opened in the sea, and as they cross to the other side, Pharaoh too, with his soldiers, enters the path Moses (peace be upon him) opened in the sea. Thereupon the sea closes from both sides and destroys Pharaoh and his soldiers.
They drown in the Red Sea and are gone.
