Translation
He said, “They are upon my trails. And I hastened (to come) to you so that You will be content.”
Tafsir
A group of seventy men, chosen by Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm', followed him and came to Tur, where the Torah was to be revealed. The reason for their haste, as we have explained in the previous verse, was to meet Allah (swt) as soon as possible and to be present at the place at the promised time so that Allah (swt) would be pleased with him. It was also the haste of the group behind him to be present at the place where this miracle had taken place as soon as possible. However, Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' is further ahead of the groups behind him, in a position where he can talk to Allah (swt).
What is said in the video
We have come to Surah Ta-Ha, verse 84.
Moses (peace be upon him) said: "There they are, right behind me. And I hastened to You, my Lord, so that You would be pleased," he says. Yes, I hastened so that You would be pleased. A group of seventy people chosen by Moses (peace be upon him) also followed behind Moses (peace be upon him), and to Tur, the place where the Torah would be revealed, they came. The reason for their hurrying, as we explained in the previous verse, was to meet Allah Almighty as soon as possible, and for Moses (peace be upon him) to be present at his place at the promised time and hour, and for Allah Almighty to be pleased with him. And the group behind him hurried, too, to be present as soon as possible where these miracles, where the miracle was to be.
But Moses (peace be upon him) was further ahead than the groups behind him, at a station where he would speak with Allah Almighty.
