Tafsir
When Hadrat Aaron's speeches against his people did not bring any result and his people told him that they would continue to worship the calf until Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' returned to their midst, Hadrat Aaron 'alaihis-salâm' had no choice but to wait for Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm'.
This people spoke in this way because they believed in Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm'. It is their declaration that they would follow Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' whether he believed in the calf or not.
What is said in the video
Surah Ta-Ha, verse 91. They said: until Moses returns to us, we will never give up worshipping it, they said. Yes, until Moses returns to us, we will never give up worshipping it, they say.
Aaron's (peace be upon him) words to his people brought no result with his people, and since his people told him that until Moses (peace be upon him) returned among them they would go on worshipping the calf, Aaron (peace be upon him) had no choice but to wait for Moses (peace be upon him).
This people speaking this way comes from their believing in Moses (peace be upon him). It is their declaring that, depending on whether Moses (peace be upon him) believed in the calf or not, they would follow Moses (peace be upon him). What do they say? Let Moses just come among us first. We, with Moses (peace be upon him): if he keeps on with that calf, we too will keep on. If he says "abandon the calf", we too will abandon it, they say. May Allah protect you.
