Then Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' left Hadrat Harun 'alaihis-salâm' and returned to Samiri. O Samiri! What was your obligation that you made the calf and made people mischief. You made people turn away from Allah, who is One and there is no god but Him. He says, "You have led people astray by worshipping this calf you have made.

Upon this, Moses (peace be upon him) lets go of Aaron (peace be upon him) and turns to the Samiri. O Samiri, what drove you to make the calf and lead people into strife? You turned people away from Allah, the One, besides whom there is no god. By having them worship this calf you made, you led people astray, he says. Yes.
