Translation

“Woe! unto me! If only I had not taken such a one as a friend.”

Tafsir

And when he realizes that the judgment of that fateful day will bring the torment upon him, he will lament to himself and say, 'Woe to me, I wish I had not followed so and so, I wish I had not followed his false path.

It is with their tongues that these people speak this way. With their hearts they are also in disbelief. If they were given freedom, they would still do the same thing, they would continue to disbelieve in Allah and make fun of Allah's Verses and His Prophets. This is because they have made their covenant to disbelieve in Allah. Therefore, they are destined to be like this. They can never turn towards the truth. If they had turned to Allah in their hearts, Allah is not unjust so that they would not find Allah forgiving.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Furqan, verse 28. "Woe to me, if only I had not taken so-and-so, the follower of falsehood, as a friend," he says. Of course, these, as I said a moment ago, since Allah Almighty tells us that they, that they will speak this way, that is, telling us already now: look, do not be like these, wake up. Life is a treasure, it is your wealth. Use this wealth well, prepare for the Hereafter; these are verses with that meaning. "Woe to me, if only I had not taken so-and-so, the follower of falsehood, as a friend," and when he understands that the judgment of that hard day will bring punishment upon him, lamenting to himself: "Woe to me, if only I had not followed so-and-so; if only, adopting the false path he took, I had not tagged along after him," he will say.

We said before that everyone lives his own destiny. His own destiny.

These people speak this way with their tongues. In their hearts they are still in denial. If they were given freedom, these people would do the same thing again. Continuing to deny Allah, they would make Allah's verses and prophets an object of mockery. Because they gave their covenant as deniers of Allah. For this reason, this state of theirs has been written for them as destiny. They can never turn to the Truth. If they had turned to Allah in their hearts, Allah Almighty is not unjust, so that they would not find Allah forgiving. Yes.
