Tafsir
People who deny Allah and the Hereafter will continue to wail on the Day of Reckoning to express their regret. When the dhikr came to me, that is, when Allah (swt) sent His Verses to enlighten my path, I did not follow it. I followed the one who led me to falsehood and destruction.
I have also been subjected to the devil, and he shows people bad ways to please their ego. If a person cannot control his ego and follows what is pleasing to his ego, then he is miserable.
The human ego, the devil and the world work together. If a person is a slave to his ego and follows the footsteps of Shaytan, he commits all kinds of evil deeds because the world seems attractive to him. Then he will fall into the abyss. Once a person falls or becomes disgraced, the friends around him will also turn away from him. This person will be completely disgraced and disgraced.
Those who turn away from Allah and His Messenger, and do not believe in Allah and the Hereafter, will wail on the Day of Reckoning, and will find for themselves no helper or intercessor. Allah has removed His mercy from them. Such people will spend eternity in Hell. Therefore, in order to avoid disappointment, one must embrace the dhikr that Allah has sent us, that is, the Holy Qur'an, adopt the true religion of Islam, and avoid Allah's commands and prohibitions, and we will find salvation.
It is narrated that this verse was revealed about Ukba bin Abi Muayt. One day Ukba gave a banquet and invited the Prophet (SAW) to the banquet. The Prophet (PBUH) accepted the invitation and told Uqba bin Abi Mu'ayt that he would not eat his food unless he gave the Shahada. Ukba also uttered the Shahadah. Then Ukba's new friend Ubay bin Khalaf, one of the prominent polytheists, said to Ukba that if you follow Muhammad, my face will be forbidden to you. Thereupon Ukba became an apostate and renounced Islam. These and similar people will bite their fingers and say, 'If only we had not followed this so-and-so.

Verse 29 of Surah Al-Furqan is where we have come.
For after the Reminder, that is, the Quran, had come to me, he truly led me astray from it. Satan drags a person to the abyss, then abandons him face down and disgraces and shames him. Yes. Doesn't Allah Almighty say so? O children of Adam, Satan is your enemy, He says. Yes.
Let us read the verse once more. For after the Reminder, the Quran, had come to me, that is, after the Quran had come to me, he, that is, Satan, truly led me astray from it. That is, he led me astray from the Quran. Satan drags a person to the abyss, then abandons him face down and brings him to disgrace and shame. People who deny Allah and the Hereafter keep on crying out woe on this Day of Reckoning, voicing their regret. While the Reminder had come to me, that is, while Allah Almighty had sent the verses that would light my way, I could not follow it. I went after the one who dragged me into falsehood and ruin.
And I followed Satan. Satan makes the evil ways that flatter the human nafs look attractive to people. But if a person cannot master his nafs and goes chasing after what pleases his nafs, then that person has fallen into misery.
The human nafs, Satan and the world work together. Aduvvallâhi ve aduvvekum. Your enemies and the enemy of Allah, it says.
Our enemy is the world. Into a swamp, like a (?) flower blooming in a swamp, it pulls you there.
The nafs works together with the world. Because it desires the world. And Satan is your enemy anyway. He makes them look attractive to you. He gives fine (?). And Allah Almighty gives three friends against them. One friend is reason. Reason. The next is faith. And the other is inspiration.
With your reason, your faith and the inspiration that comes to the heart, against three enemies, when you stand face to face with three friends, in whichever one's ranks you take your place, in those ranks you fulfil your duty. If you take your place in the enemy's ranks, you will keep crying out woe like this in the Hereafter on and on.
The human nafs, Satan and the world work together. If a person, captive to his nafs, follows Satan's tracks, then because in the world it looks attractive to him, this person commits every kind of wickedness. Then the person tumbles into the abyss. Once a person falls, once he is disgraced, even the friends around him turn away from him. This person is utterly disgraced and shamed.
So those who turn away from Allah and His Messenger,
those who do not believe in Allah and the Hereafter, will cry out woe like this on that Day of Reckoning and will find for themselves neither a helper nor an intercessor. Allah has lifted His mercy from them. Such people are destined for hell forever. So, in order not to suffer loss: if a person holds fast to the Reminder Allah sent us, that is, the Noble Quran, embraces Islam, which is the truth, and heeds Allah's commands and prohibitions, he finds salvation.
It is said that this verse was revealed about Uqba ibn Abi Mu'ayt. One day Uqba gives a feast. He also invites the Prophet (peace be upon him) to this feast. The Prophet (peace be upon him) accepts the invitation. And he tells Uqba ibn Abi Mu'ayt that unless he bears witness, he will not eat of his food. And Uqba says the testimony of faith. Thereupon Uqba's new friend, one of the leaders of the polytheists, Ubayy ibn Khalaf, said to Uqba: If you follow Muhammad, may my face be forbidden to your face. Thereupon Uqba became an apostate and gave up Islam. So these and people like them will bite their fingers and say: If only we had not followed so-and-so.
Yes.
