Tafsir
The sinful criminals gathered at the judgment in the Hereafter will whisper amongst themselves that they have only been on earth for ten days. This is because a thousand years in this world is like a day in the Hereafter. Also, to justify their own souls, they console themselves with the fact that their life in this world seems small to them, and they think that the sins they will commit in ten days will be small and that they will be saved from the punishment that will touch them. In this respect, they say that we stayed in the world for ten days.
