Translation

On that Day, no one’s intercession will help, other than those to whom Rahman (Allah the Merciful) has given permission and whose word Allah is content with.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) will grant intercession to His Prophets, and He will also grant intercession to His beloved guardians. The people whom He says, "The intercession of none but those whom the Most Merciful permits and whose words He likes will be of no benefit," are people other than the Prophets, people who are in the service of Allah (swt) and the heirs of Prophets. Allah (swt) will grant intercession to the people whom the Prophet (s.a.w.) said (the guardian of my ummah is like the Prophet of the tribe of Israel) and mentioned in his hadith.

These people call the servants of Allah to the right path. They are the ones who explain the word of Allah to people and warn people with the Qur'an. They are the people who make people love Allah and His Messenger and help the religion of Islam. The people who are the recipients of the verse in which Allah (swt) says, "Who is more eloquent than the one who explains Allah", are the people whose words Allah (swt) likes according to this verse. These too will have the right to intercede with Allah's permission.

Now if we pay attention to the verse below — some brainless ones, we will say, or else, or else some people who do not understand knowledge, the knowledge of the Quran, who by their own minds say that in the hereafter the station of intercession does not exist — to them Allah Almighty gives such a beautiful answer here. On that day the intercession of none will benefit, except one whom the Most Merciful permits and whose word He approves, it says. There is your station of intercession. Yes. When people who know nothing of the Quran get up and issue fatwas like this, or read the Quran but cannot understand what its meaning is, a person, in this circle of ignorance, just stands there grinning.

Let us explain this to you this way. On that day, the intercession of none except one whom the Most Merciful permits and whose word He approves. Whose word will He approve? Ah, they might say this: The intercession of the prophets. He will give them the right of intercession. It does not say prophets, pay attention. Whose word He approves. There are the heirs of the prophets. Who are these heirs of the prophets? Your scholars, it says, their passing to the hereafter is like the sun going and darkness coming — such people they are, it says. These people, who have risen to the station of intercession, the ones whose word is approved, that is, these are the people of whom He says, I have such servants that neither buying and selling nor trade keeps them from My remembrance, and the scholars Allah Himself has raised, people He will gather with His righteous servants — these will attain the station of intercession. From 7 up to 70 people, according to their ranks, they will intercede.

Yes.

Just as Allah Almighty will give His prophets the right of intercession, He will also give His beloved saintly servants the right of intercession. Those of whom He says, the intercession of none will benefit except one whom the Most Merciful permits and whose word He approves, are, besides the prophets, those who long for Allah and are heirs of the prophets — such people. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, the (?) of my ummah is like the prophet of the people of the Children of Israel — to the people he mentioned in his hadith Allah Almighty will give permission to intercede. These people call Allah's servants to the right path.

They explain Allah's word to people and make people beware through the Quran. They are people who make people love Allah and His Messenger and who help the religion of Islam. In a verse Allah Almighty says, who is better in speech than one who tells of Allah — the people honored by that verse are, according to this verse, the people whose words Allah Almighty approves. These too, by Allah's permission, will hold the right to intercede. Yes.
