Translation

We have not created them (Prophets) as (lifeless) bodies that do not eat food. And they are not immortal.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) continues to introduce His Prophets to mankind, saying, "We did not create them, the Prophets, as lifeless corpses that do not eat". As we have explained in our previous lessons, people are created from the souls of the Prophets. Therefore, if people are created in the form of the Essence, the Prophets will also be in that form. If he had come to people as a Prophet in another form and in a different state, then there would have been a situation where people would not truly believe in him. The polytheists deny Allah and His Messengers because of their pride and arrogance. Otherwise, every mind knows that Allah exists. Because the intellect was created and given to human beings to know the Lord. Whoever in his right mind says that there is no God and denies it, he is telling a great lie.

Just as people are only for eating and drinking and are mortal in this world, so are the Prophets. Just because they are prophets does not mean that they will remain in this world. Prophets are the messengers of Allah who inform people of Allah's commands and invite them to guidance so that they may attain Allah's mercy in the Hereafter.

What is said in the video

We have come to Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 8. We did not create them, the prophets, as bodies that do not eat, as lifeless corpses.

Nor are they eternal in this world.

the prophets, in the world. Here many meanings emerge. What does it say? We did not create them, the prophets, as a lifeless corpse that does not eat. True. Nor are they eternal in the world, it says. Jesus is eternal, yet not eternal. What is there? In the end he will come and taste death. Every soul will taste death, after all. The Prophet (peace be upon him) is alive. Allah Almighty calls him alive. But as a body he tasted death. But you say he will come again as the Mahdi. Yes. He will be raised once more in the same body as the Mahdi. Because there is no more (?) for a prophet now. The Mahdi is the same. Conveying the command.

That is, a prophet would have to bring verses again. But the verses have ended. So, with the (?) of conveying the same verses again, the Mahdi, corresponds to Muhammad Mahdi anyway. He will come to convey them. In accordance with the verse "We bring you to life twice and make you die twice," that soul will die a second time. "I have forgiven your sins, past and future." And according to that verse, in the Hereafter his body will not be raised again to stand before him and bear witness against him. Yes. How beautifully the verses open up to each other like this, so beautifully.

Allah Almighty continues to introduce His prophets to people. We did not create them, that is, the prophets, as a lifeless body that does not eat, He decrees. As we also explained in our earlier lessons, people were created from the spirits of the prophets. So if people were created in the form of the Essence, the prophets too will be in those forms. Had he come to people as a prophet in some other form, in a different state, then a situation of people truly not believing in him would have arisen. The polytheists' denial of Allah and His Messengers comes from their own pride and the arrogance of their grandeur.

Otherwise every mind knows that Allah exists. Because the mind, created as knowing its Lord, has been given to people. Whoever, in his right mind, says there is no Allah and denies, tells a great lie.

So if people subsist by eating and drinking, and if in this world they are mortal, the prophets are the same. Their being prophets does not mean that they will remain in the world forever. The prophets are those who convey Allah's commands to people and, so that in the Hereafter people may attain Allah's mercy, from Allah light their way and invite people to guidance: they are Allah's messengers. Yes.
