Translation

But We make the truth come on top of superstition and finish it off. Then you see that superstition has disappeared. Woe upon you for the things you have (badly) attributed (to Allah).

Tafsir

Allah is perfect. He is free from imperfect attributes. In this respect, there is no being equal to Allah. Since all created beings are incomplete and faulty, Allah brings down the truth on top of falsehood. (The truth has come and falsehood has vanished.) In this case, since every mind knows the truth, some people's arrogance and pride, their glory and fame are not compromised, and such people fade away in the face of the Truth. Even though they themselves realize the Truth, they still cannot return to their Lord according to the Verse (Have you not seen him who makes his nafs an idol). To such people Allah says in His Verse (Woe to you for the attributes you ascribe to Allah). They either deny Allah (swt) or say that Allah is three. Or they say that Uzeyr is the son of Allah. They say that angels are the daughters of Allah, or they worship idols and associate partners with Allah. He says, "Woe to those who do so (because of the attributes you ascribe to Allah).

What is said in the video

Of Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 18: "Rather, We set the truth on top of falsehood, and it finishes falsehood off." How beautiful. Look at the verse. "Rather, We set the truth on top of falsehood, and it finishes falsehood off." Does He set it on top or not? You are all witnesses: over the centuries, in the face of people interpreting the Quran by ascribing attributes to Allah Almighty, those falsehoods, their ascribing attributes to Allah, we sifted out in the Quran. But those who cannot bring themselves to accept the results, those who are prejudiced, those who chase rank and position and fall into pride and arrogance,

as long as they are of this kind, whatever position they hold, stay far from Allah's mercy. And they bear a great responsibility. Tomorrow at the Great Judgment, in the presence of Allah Almighty, they will be treated as ashamed and as rebels.

We say: let our scholars come together, let them leave the desires of their nafs and their prejudices behind. Free of need for the pleasures of this transient world, freeing ourselves from casting falsehood over the truth, giving our voice to the truth, let us sit together and look over these verses again. And in this age people need this very much. In the Quran, translated and written with superstitions, they have interpreted the Quran by ascribing attributes to Allah.

If a person in this world, in exchange for a few pennies of gain, buys the torment of his eternal life, woe to that person. I say, I call out to our scholars. Let us use our reason. Let us picture our future before our eyes. So as to please our Lord in the hereafter, as much as we can, in this world let us proclaim our Lord's verses to people as the truth. Not as falsehood. Look what Allah Almighty says. "Rather, We set the truth on top of falsehood, and it finishes falsehood off." So however much you occupy yourselves with falsehood, you will spend your centuries. You will also prove what kind of person you are, Allah Almighty, within these centuries, raises one scholar and brings that scholar out from among you.

From among you. And according to Surah Ibrahim, verse 4, the verse where He says, "We send every prophet in the language of his own people," according to that verse, Allah Almighty too, each scholar within that century, in his own people's language — what does this mean? By raising a person who can explain the verses to them in the best way and, in terms of language, can convince them, He sprinkles His verses over those falsehoods. Yes.

"Rather, We set the truth on top of falsehood, and it finishes falsehood off. And then you see that falsehood has vanished away." I mean, once they came out against us, and what didn't they call us: irreligious, (?), atheist. So where are these people? All of them bound by superstitions, unaware of Allah's verses, unaware of the hadiths, people living like that. With false words learned from one another, with false words, I say again, with false and superstitious words, interpreting the verses as they please with that "sound" reason of theirs, ascribing attributes to Allah — such people. Where are they now?

All of them in a corner.

Why are you running away? Weren't you telling the truth? Weren't you setting out to prove the truth?

Well, come and prove it. Or else learn these verses from the one who proves them. If this man who proves it is wrong, correct it. Correct it with verses. If, on the other hand, what this man explains is the truth, why are you running away? Why are you hiding? Why don't you speak the truth? Didn't you set up websites? Weren't you trying to explain? Believe me, you are all exploiters of conscience. You are all people chasing worldly gain. If it were not so, the people who speak the truth would come together and gather.

Yes. I say this with sorrow. I say this with an aching conscience.

Yes.

I am reading it to you.

"Rather, We set the truth on top of falsehood, and it finishes falsehood off.

And then you see that falsehood has vanished away. Woe to you for the evil attributes you ascribe to Allah," it says. Woe to you. Yes.

Allah will put whom He wills into Paradise. He will put whom He wills into Hell. Woe to you. So where is man's partial will? Where are the reward and sin a person earns by what he does, by his actual deeds? If man entered Paradise and Hell by Allah's willing, why should we worship? Why should we spend our hours here to earn our Lord's pleasure? Spend our breaths? Yes. Why should we not, as Muslims, as each other's brothers, carry one another on our backs?

Instead of digging each other's pits, we will help one another in religion. We will help in the way of Allah. Yes. If you ascribe attributes to Allah, if you have Allah increase man's kufr — Allah supposedly increases man's kufr. And when people find light, light, if Allah extinguishes their light — can there be such an Allah? If He created many of mankind and jinn for Hell — in Surah Al-A'raf, the 179th verse. Well,

Surah Al-Baqarah, it must be verse 10, I think. Let's see, which verse is it? Well, in verse 10 it says: In their hearts is a disease, and Allah has increased their disease. Woe — you call this an attribute of Allah. Does Allah wrong His servants? Whereas in their hearts is the disease of hypocrisy and envy, that is, in the first barzakh they could not know Allah Almighty as Allah; by their own reason they expected an imagined one. They expected an Allah. That is the envy. It is an envy toward Allah. Because of their lying, their disease has increased. Because of their lying. Where has Allah increased their disease?

And look what it says right after.

Their case, the case of the hypocrites, is like one who kindles a fire on a dark night. The hypocrites kindle a fire on a dark night. What does kindling a fire mean? It means he lit up his surroundings. It means he sees ahead. Whereas people are in darkness. Listen well. What does it say? It is like one who kindles a fire on a dark night. When the fire lights up its surroundings, Allah at once takes away their light. Just look at that! Look. Allah supposedly takes away their light at once. What sense they have, lighting up their surroundings. And Allah gets jealous and removes their light. And (?) gets angry at them, removes their light, and leaves them in darkness.

Can such a thing be? Can such a thing happen? Does this befit Allah? This is the verse where He says, woe to you. Woe to you, what evil attributes you ascribe to Allah, it says. Woe to you. So the meaning is: their state, the hypocrites' state, is like a fire burning on a dark night. Not one who kindles — like a fire that burns. On a dark night we cannot see ahead with this reason of ours. Like a burning fire, Allah sends down His light on the dark night. He sends down the Quran, sends down His verses. Then, when the fire lights up its surroundings, that is, when that Quran as light lights up all around us, those who put out the fire.

Who? Those who turn their backs on Allah. Those who turn their backs on the verses. They leave themselves in darkness, they no longer see. That is the verse. That is Allah.

Man leaves himself in darkness. Is it Allah who tells that person, deny Me? Wasn't the Quran sent down to the worlds so they would know Me? Aren't you ashamed? You write these things this way. Have you no shame, no sense of honor at all? Is there no knowledge at all?

Yes. Do you not fear Allah?

Will you not give account of it tomorrow? Then repent from now. From now. Come, set these straight.

These seventy-eight million people await confirmation from the Diyanet. Confirmation. 78 million people are looking to the word that will come out of your mouth. With these superstitions, tomorrow, into your Lord's presence, with the pride and arrogance that position gave you, if you go, if you hear the truth yet do not let your own generation take it in, turn your back and stay silent, you will have consented to kufr, and tomorrow you will give account of this on the Day of Resurrection. You will give it to Allah. Yes.

Now we read the verse once more. Then we move on to its translation.

"Rather, We set the truth on top of falsehood, and it finishes falsehood off.

And then you see that falsehood has vanished away. Woe to you for the evil attributes you ascribe to Allah," it says. Allah Almighty is perfect. He is far above deficient attributes. In this respect, there is no being equal to Allah. Since all created beings are deficient and flawed, Allah sends the truth down upon falsehood. "Truth has come, falsehood has vanished." There is such a verse. In this case, since every mind knows what is right, and because some people do not give up their arrogance and pride, their fame and renown, such people fade away before the truth. Even though they themselves grasp the truth, according to the verse, "Have you not seen the one who, his nafs as a god, (?)", they still do not turn back to their Lord.

To just such people Allah Almighty says in His verse: woe to you for the attributes you ascribe to Allah. These either deny Allah Almighty, or say Allah is three, or by worshipping, associate partners with Allah. To those who do this He says: woe to you for the attributes you ascribe to Allah, so He decrees.
