And this (Qur’an) is also a blessed and useful advice that We have sent down. Do you now deny it?
Tafsir
Allah (swt) informs mankind that the Holy Qur'an is also a useful reminder. He says that if it were a human word, you would find in it many words that do not agree with each other. Since people have come to a lost world, Allah is the One who guides them with advice and counsel that sheds light before them.
But most of the people are arrogant and proud against Allah (swt), so they do not like the true word of Allah (swt). They follow the decisions of their own minds and turn their backs on the laws of Allah. In this respect, they suffer hardship and injustice.
Even though they know that Allah's Word is the truth, they still rebel against Allah out of their arrogance and hatred against Him, and resist the Truth, in spite of the hardship and suffering they endure.
What is said in the video
In verse 50 of Surah Al-Anbiya it says: This Quran that We sent down is a good and beneficial admonition. The Quran. We are created beings. We, all created things, are creatures. Among these created creatures, because Allah Almighty gave man of His spirit, man is the noblest of creatures. So Allah Almighty says: We have made man honored above the worlds. Indeed, in one verse too: if you seek might and honor, might and honor are with Allah. Yes. What does it say? This Quran too that We sent down is a good and beneficial admonition, the Quran says. Thus, although He held us as addressees of Himself, because He created us deficient in intellect, He creates us as beings in need of advice.
Since He created us in need of this advice, since He holds a light before us, in order not to remain in darkness and not to suffer injustice, we must long for our Lord. With love and affection for Him, we must show respect for His word. We must be governed by His word so that we light our way.
Otherwise we remain in darkness.
Well, today the non-Muslim doesn't concern himself with the Quran. Is he in darkness? And in such darkness that he is in pitch darkness, unable to see ahead of him.
Is there a verse for what you say? Look what it says now from the verse. Let me read that part to you.
First read the wrongly interpreted verse, the wrongly interpreted one, and then let's read the correct one. Their, it says, the hypocrites', that is, the non-Muslims' situation is like a fire burning in a dark night, it says. He interpreted it wrongly. Like a fire burning in a dark night. They cannot light a fire. Fire is lighting the way ahead. May Allah protect us. They do not possess that fire, that is, that knowledge, which would light their way. It is like a burning fire.
When the fire lights up its surroundings, Allah at once takes away their light and leaves them in darkness, it says. Allah does not take away anyone's light. Now I'm reading the correct one. The correct one. Their, the hypocrites', situation is like a fire burning in a dark night. When the fire lights up its surroundings, that is, when Allah sends people the Quran as a source of radiance, light and guidance, those who put out the fire, that is, those who turn their backs on the Quran, who rebel against Allah's religion of Islam, leave themselves in darkness. They no longer see. I'm not saying it, Allah tells me.
They are in such darkness. And they are in a state of wrongdoing. Their hearts are restless and scattered. They do not know peace and cannot find it. Yes. I don't know if we can explain this part. This Quran too is a good and beneficial admonition that We sent down. So since Allah Almighty created our intellect deficient, for us to find the truth, to find life, to live in peace in this transient world, we need Allah's verses. If we cannot know the verses, find the people governed by the verses: your scholars, He says. Their passing to the hereafter is like the sun going and darkness coming. You will consult them.
Yes. Now, do you deny it, He says. That is, do you deny this verse? Do you deny the Quran?
Although you were created deficient, although you are in darkness, although I, as Creator, sent you My mercy, and My mercy is for everyone in the universe, He says. (?) Does it say: don't give the Quran to the non-Muslim, don't show him its verses? Invite him, it says. Enjoining what is right. Tell the truth, it says. So although you are in need of Me, although you live in darkness and injustice, although My mercy reaches you, although I give you a life, the chance of a good peace, now this advice I gave, this Quran sent to you, do you deny it, He says. Yes, Allah Almighty makes known to people that the Holy Quran too is a beneficial admonition.
(?) If this were the word of a human, you would find in it many words that do not agree with each other, He declares. So when people come to a (?) world, Allah is the one who, with admonitions and advice that hold a light before them, shows people the way. But since most people are in arrogance and pride toward Allah Almighty, they do not like Allah's true word. Following the decisions of their own minds, on Allah's laws they turn their backs. Therefore, suffering hardships, they meet with injustice. That Allah's word is the truth they know, yet despite the hardship and suffering they endure, still against Allah Almighty, out of grudge and arrogance, they rebel and resist the truth.
They resist, don't they? What did Yaşar Nuri say? Me? I'm a deist. Deist, deist. I believe in Allah. Deist? Yes. Deist. Deist. What does deist mean? He believes in Allah. I don't believe in the prophets and books, he says. (?), he says, it is like this, he says. (?) Nuri said this. I believe in Allah but not in His prophets and His books, he says. What does this mean?
That he himself is in unbelief, in the midst of unbelief, he proves with his own mouth. We already told him this before anyway. So in this transient world, a person: against Ahmet and Mehmet patting him on the back,
providing him worldly goods, his Lord's slap is very heavy. With the afflictions He gives a person, He takes that wealth from his hands and leaves him in a wretched state. Then, to increase his rebellion even more, the person reveals himself. Beside those oppressors called intellectuals, beating their drum, for worldly gain bowing to them, to their ideas mortgaging their own, they fall into the state of slaves. Yes. And all of these together, according to the obligations of our religion: one who deliberately denies a prophet or even a single verse is an unbeliever.
If there are no prophets, where did the books come from? You say you don't believe in the Book either. So, people like you called deists, that is, people who say I believe in Allah but not in the Book and the Prophet, our Lord has such a fine answer for them. If you do not believe in this Book, come, bring the like of one surah, He says. Come on, I dare you.
Bring the like of a surah. As many (?) jinn as there are, as many people as there are, as many jinn too, as much of the angelic realm too,
gather them, bring the like of one surah. You can't, can you. Why? Because Allah's word is built on letters. Alif, Lam, Mim, what is it? Ta-Ha, what does it mean? Ya-Sin, what does it mean? When these letters pass into words and form what we call sentences, verses, perhaps there is a secret of creation. Well, you don't believe in the Book; could you, the same as this Book, produce that surah and bring out this secret of creation? Don't you use your mind at all? Look, what does Allah Almighty say in the verse? Yes. Let's say it from the verse. That's better. Right?
If you are in doubt about the Quran We sent down to Our servant, come, you too bring a surah like it, and call your witnesses other than Allah to help. Other than Allah, as I said, people, jinn, angelic beings, as many as are created, call them as witnesses too, call your witnesses to help, if you are truthful in your words, it demands; then it says: you cannot do this. And surely you will not be able to. Because there, He says, are Our secrets of creation. All the codes are there. There are Our coded numbers, the law of abjad. Accordingly, what every person will do, where he will say what, every thing is clear here. The wet and the dry are in the Quran, it says, after all.
With what mind do you not believe in the Quran and go on to deny it? He says it right afterwards anyway. You cannot do this. And surely you will not be able to. Now, those who deny the verse, pay attention. Then beware of the fire, beware of the fire whose fuel is people and stones, it says. Its fuel. It is people and stones; it has been prepared for the unbelievers, it says. Yes, what kind of person you are now, if you believe in Allah, with Allah's verse, with the word Allah says to you, you must call yourself to account for it.
We want you to repent, to believe in Allah, His prophets and His books. Yes. Because people rebel against Allah, we do not hold a grudge against them.
As servants of Allah Almighty, we pray for them. What do we say? Reform these servants of Allah too, we say. Reform them.
yes, what does it say Ömer Sefa Efendi's: they are those at levels 2 and 3, he says, yes, they do not rise to mutmainne, apparently they don't rise; those who rise to mutmainne (?) the tajalli; Allah is pleased with them; here they are people who are from Allah, he says; these too, these too are from Allah, people. I didn't understand, but (?) he wants to say. Let's take this. Something is missing here. It got stuck inside the thing.
These too are people who are pleased with Allah.
