Vow to that; We had given to Abraham his rectitude before. He knew Us well.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) gave Hazrat Ibrahim his maturity earlier; He perfected him at a young age. In this respect, Hazrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' did not worship the idols of the pagans even as a child.
Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' knew Allah (swt) well. Even at a young age, Hazrat Ibrahim believed that there was no other deity besides Allah (swt) and always turned his face towards Allah (swt), the One and Only. In this situation, Allah (swt) gave Hazrat Ibrahim his maturity. In other words, because he developed his intellect and perfected it, Hadrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) knew Allah (swt) well. When Hadrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' spoke of Allah, the idol worshippers did not understand the words of Hadrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' and ignored his speeches. However, although Allah knows all human beings and His creatures very well, when He says about Hazrat Ibrahim that he knew me well, He means that people could not recognize Hazrat Ibrahim because He gave him maturity at a young age, developed his intellect and made him act consciously.
What is said in the video
To verse 51 of Surah Al-Anbiya we have come. I'll ask you about this one too. Those I explained it to shouldn't say. We explained it to them first, before you came. I'll ask. You listen too. Explain the situation to me here. Now first I'll read the wrong one. Verse 51. Indeed, We had given Abraham his rushd before. We knew him well, it says.
Where is the wrongly interpreted part here?
I'm not asking those I explained it to. They know. I'm asking you. I'm asking those listening to me. I'm reading it once more. Indeed, We had given Abraham his rushd before. We knew him well, it says.
Come on then. You've been waiting all this time. And you have the books in your hands, you read them. So you haven't read them. You don't know the correct one.
Isn't that so? If they had read, they would have known at once.
Ömer Sefa, will you say it? Yes, it's not this here, but we'll look at this.
Will Ender be able to say? We're saying it to Ender too. Where is the wrongly interpreted part here?
I'm reading once more. Indeed, We had given Abraham his rushd before. We knew him well. Habibi, you were saying it so nicely. Go on, say it. What is this? What's wrong with it?
I didn't understand rushd, Hodja. There's no honesty in it. Not there.
Is it that it says We knew him well, Hodja, says Çağlasan. Well done, Çağlasan.
Yes. Yes.
We knew him well. Then there are also some Allah Almighty could not know well. Pay attention to the wording. Kalam is very good. (?) The science of kalam. I mean, I'm not saying this to you, eh. My daughter, I'm telling you; daughter-in-law, you understand. All of you.
Right, Ali? This is kalam, kalam. Look what it says? We knew him well. Allah Allah. So is there also this one He could not know? Whereas Allah Almighty is aware of everything He created, from the atom to the globe, all of it; there is not a single living being to come until the Day of Judgment whose deeds there We would not know. Would Allah, who creates, not know what He created? He made a covenant with all of them, wrote their wishes for them as destiny, gave them to them as characters; would Allah, who knows where, when and (?) everyone, say I knew you better? So what is correct? Correct: Indeed, We had given Abraham his rushd before; he knew Us well. (?) yes, from where does he know this? He knew Us well. Hanif, since his birth he never worshipped idols, until he came of age he sought Allah, and in none of them did he believe other than Allah; although his father was an idolater; in this way he receives the name Hanif. That is, one who believes in none but Allah, since childhood.
Now I'll ask you one more question about this verse.
Look at the question. Indeed, We had given Abraham his rushd before. What does giving his rushd mean?
What does it mean? That's exactly what I didn't understand, Hodja. I didn't understand that anyway. You didn't understand that anyway. Tell me this much. "I had given him prophethood", but how? What does this mean? I'm reading the verse for the video. Look, pay close attention to the word. We had given Abraham his rushd before, it says.
He knew Us well, it says. Look, the verses complete each other here.
Sir, it should be "he knew Us well". Ömer Sefa says. (?) Abraham had asked for miracles so that his heart would be at peace, and thus he had come to know our Lord well. No. Hodja, the ability to distinguish right from wrong, he says. Ender says. Yes. What does it mean? Ender: the ability to distinguish right from wrong.
Anyway. Time has already passed. Let's not (?) too much with you. Let's explain this.
First let's read you a verse from here.
Yes.
Now pay attention. Pay attention.
Surah Ta-Ha, verse 134.
If We, before this, before the Quran, To this pay attention. What does it say? We, before this, before the Quran. What does before the Quran mean?
Before bringing you into the world, in the address Elest-ü bi Rabbiküm, We, although We knew what you are, why did We send you to the world? Here you saw Me. Because you saw Me as like yourselves, you could not believe. So, since We are free of any deficient attribute, We sent you to the world. So that you would not say there: if We had destroyed them with a punishment, they would surely have said this: O Lord, if only You had sent us a messenger, so that (?) we would have followed Your verses, it says. Now pay attention to the wording here. If We, before this, before the Quran, it says. And what does it say here? Indeed, We had given Abraham before, it says.
Before, before coming into the world, in the world of spirits, from the spirit of the Prophet the spirits of the prophets He created, and from the prophets' spirits did He not create the spirits of the nations? Did He not ask the prophets? I will create the spirits of your nations from your spirits. I will send you to them as prophets. Do you accept? And they said: yes, we accept. And I am among the witnesses with you, He says. That is: We had given him his rushd before. That is, there We had him sign that rushd of prophethood, its seal. That is, We gave him that authority. He knew Us well, it says.
Look how beautiful. Not "We knew him well".
Do you see the verse? Yes.
Since we wrote, in a way the general public would read, the verses, we wrote them in a way they would understand. But here I'm explaining it better to you, to those around you. Here too, for the general public, Allah Almighty's giving Abraham his rushd before, that is, we, with an outward mind, so that people would understand it better, camouflaged, but normal. It is His bringing him to a perfect state at a young age. Therefore even as a child Abraham (peace be upon him) did not worship the idols of the idolaters. That is, his reaching a perfect state as a child, sensing certain things, his rushd being given to him from there, that is, prophethood in coded form, just as Joseph too sees 12–11 stars prostrating to him, the moon and the stars.
And Jacob (peace be upon him) understands that he will be a prophet. Likewise there is Jesus speaking in his mother's womb or as a child. Making known his rushd to him too from there. Yes. But we explained this with a more esoteric wording. You be aware of that part. We're reading what is here. It is His bringing him to a perfect state at a young age. Therefore even as a child Abraham (peace be upon him) did not worship the idols of the idolaters. Abraham (peace be upon him) knew Allah Almighty well. Even at a young age Abraham believed that besides Allah Almighty there was no other god, and always turned his face to the one Allah.
Thus Allah Almighty gave Abraham his rushd. That is, since He developed his intellect and brought him to perfection, Abraham (peace be upon him), yes,
gave this answer to his people: Truly, you and your fathers are in clear error. We probably skipped too far. Wait a moment. Abraham (peace be upon him) knew Allah Almighty well. When Abraham (peace be upon him) told of the one Allah, the idolaters did not understand the words of Abraham (peace be upon him), and to Abraham's speeches they paid no heed. Whereas, although Allah knows all people and His creatures very well, His saying about Abraham "he knew Me well", His giving Abraham (peace be upon him) his rushd as a child, making him act in a conscious way that develops his intellect, because of this, people could not recognize Abraham (peace be upon him); that is what it means, it says.
That's how we explain it in a more outward sense. We wanted to explain this in the inner sense, and when explaining, we explain it meaning by meaning. This, in the first meaning, is wording that everyone can understand. Its second meaning, third meaning, fifth meaning, maybe fifteenth, twentieth meaning it explains. Here. Yes.
