Translation

And thus, for each Prophet, there are enemies from the wrongdoers. Your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper.

Tafsir

Those who disbelieve in Allah, the polytheists and the disbelievers, are guilty in the sight of Allah because they were cruel to their souls, because they denied Allah and the Hereafter. Because they rebelled against their Creator and disobeyed His command. They turned their backs on Allah by engaging in what Allah forbids. They also associate partners with Allah. Such cruel criminals appear in the time of every Prophet. They haunt the Prophets of Allah and lie to the Prophets in order to turn people away from Allah. They also try to turn people away from Allah by suggesting that there is no resurrection after death.

Such taghuts appear in every age and in every Prophet's time and fulfill their duties. They fulfill their covenant with Allah and prepare their place in Hell as enemies of Allah.

When the Prophet (PBUH) presented their situation to our Lord, Allah sent this verse to the Prophet (PBUH), and He recommended the Holy Prophet and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

O Habibim! (Thus, every Prophet has enemies among the criminals), and it tells the Prophet (SAW) not to pay attention to these people, everyone will do his duty and fulfill his covenant with Allah. The verse goes on to say that these criminals will eventually be caught and sent to their rightful places.

(Your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper). That is, Allah has sent you to mankind with a guidance. In the face of the disbelievers' disbelief in you, He says that your Lord is sufficient for you as a guide and helper.

What is said in the video

We left off at verse 31 of Surah Al-Furqan, our daughter says, reminding us. This is a verse that is interpreted wrongly. Let us read the wrong version, then read the correct one and listen together to how it is interpreted. My Messenger, thus We have raised up for every prophet enemies from among the guilty. Good grief, look at how the verse is interpreted.

If a superstitious person speaks like this by his own reason, this is what comes of it.

Allah, who created the universe flawlessly and is free of any deficient attribute, will both send a prophet and also raise up enemies for the prophet from among the guilty? That cannot be. What does it say? My Messenger, thus for every prophet We have caused enemies from among the guilty to arise.

Your Lord suffices as a guide and helper. Suffices for whom? Here, suffices for whom? Your Lord, the guide, suffices for whom? If He raised up an enemy for the prophet from among the guilty, will Allah Almighty, our Lord, suffice for them, or for the prophet? Its correct interpretation is this. Thus every prophet has enemies from among the guilty. Now, Abu Jahl and Abu Lahab were enemies of the Prophet. Did Allah Almighty raise them up, telling them: Be an enemy to Muhammad? Back in the verse Elestü bi Rabbiküm, when Allah Almighty made a covenant with people, in the realm of lahut, our Lord had their feelings, according to people's wishes and desires, written for them as destiny, and when they came into the world, they put that destiny into action through their deeds and earned rewards and sins.

In that case Allah Almighty would both send a prophet and, from among the guilty, raise up for His prophet enemies. Allah, Allah.

And these people, saying we are scholars, will expound Quran translations. They will expound the verses of the Quran.

Now we read it once more. The wrong version of the verse. Then we will read the correct one once. Then we will move on to its explanation. My Messenger, thus We have raised up for every prophet enemies from among the guilty. Your Lord suffices as a guide and helper. Yes. And the correct one: thus every prophet has enemies from among the guilty. Your Lord suffices as a guide and helper.

Those who deny Allah Almighty, the polytheists and the disbelievers, these people, when they are unjust to their own nafs, because they deny Allah and the Hereafter, are guilty in the sight of Allah. People guilty in the sight of Allah. Just as, if the people of a state act against the law of that state, they commit a crime.

So if a person does not believe in the prophets Allah Almighty has sent, if he goes against the religion Allah Almighty has sent, if he eats and drinks the blessings Allah Almighty has given and ties them to the world, if, though Allah Almighty created man as the noblest of creatures, he, with his own existence, with selfish feelings, with arrogance, with fame and glory, with pride and haughtiness turns his back on Allah Almighty and sees himself as someone of substance, what are these if not guilty?

Yes.

Because they rebelled against the Creator. They did not obey His command. By keeping company with what Allah forbade, they turned their backs on Allah. Moreover, they ascribed partners to Allah. Such unjust guilty ones appear in the time of every prophet. Harassing Allah's prophets, in order to draw people away from Allah, they call the prophets liars. Moreover, by suggesting to people that there is no resurrection after death, they try to draw people away from Allah. So such taghuts appear in every age and in the time of every prophet and carry out their duty. To Allah, and on the covenant he gave, whatever covenant he declared, he fulfils it. As enemies of Allah they prepare their places in hell.

When the Prophet (peace be upon him) laid their situation before our Lord, Allah Almighty, by sending this verse to the Prophet (peace be upon him), (?) the Noblest Messenger and Honoured Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him).

O My Beloved! Thus enemies arise for every prophet from among the guilty, He says, informing the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he should pay no heed to these people, that everyone will do his duty, that each will play out the covenant he gave to Allah. And that in the end these guilty ones will be seized and sent to the places they deserve He makes known in the continuation of the verse. So what will become of them? How will they be seized? In the verse where He says every soul shall taste death and your return is to Me, a person will prove by the deeds he did in the world what kind of person he is, and so, when a person has completed his life and on the journey to the Hereafter has waited in his grave for a while, the earths become another earth, and in the sky another sky. When on earth it is brought forth (?), (?) there is no sidestepping, according to the verse where He says this, everyone gathers at the place of assembly, and in that supreme court, Eleysallâhu bi ahkemi'l-hâkimîn, when called to account by Allah Almighty, the judge of judges, then, He says, leave them to Me.

Yes. Your Lord suffices for you as a guide and helper, He says, He declares. That is, Allah sent you to people upon guidance. In the face of these attitudes of the disbelievers, besides their denying you, as a guide and helper your Lord suffices for you, He declares. Yes.
