Translation

The deniers said, “Should the Qur’an not be sent down to him altogether in one piece?” We have made such (sent down in pieces) to establish it well into your heart and read it slowly, appropriately and gradually.

Tafsir

Let people not once make their covenant with Allah as deniers. They try to find excuses for every Prophet and Book that Allah sends. There is no excuse to speak on earth. This time, as an excuse to deny the Prophet and Allah, why the Qur'an was not sent down all at once, but in parts. Look at the excuse. Allah (swt), with His attribute of Asabir, will respond to them with His verse and will have answered the excuses of the people who will come until the Day of Judgment.

Allah (swt) used to create reasons for a better understanding of the Qur'an and then send His Verses. Also, Allah, Who revealed the Qur'an piece by piece into the heart of the Prophet (PBUH), was for the Prophet (PBUH) to understand the Qur'an better. Because the Prophet (PBUH) came as a mercy to the worlds. He is an example for the worlds with his speech and language. Therefore, he will understand and apply the Qur'an well so that people will understand the Qur'an well.

The Prophet (PBUH) was educated by our Lord with the morals of the Qur'an. He said, "My Lord educated me, He educated me well". Our Prophet (PBUH) is a Prophet who was sent as an example to the worlds. He said, "I was sent to complete good morals".

In this respect, the Qur'an was recited to the Prophet (PBUH) in installments, one by one, and the Prophet (PBUH) was guided by its meanings. The Holy Prophet (SAW) used to get seventy meanings of one verse of the Qur'an every day. If the Holy Qur'an had come down all at once, how would he have been able to remove such meanings of the verses. The Qur'an came down piece by piece, one by one, and the Prophet (PBUH), through his better understanding of the Qur'an, gave people the gift of Sunnahs. People who fulfill the Sunnahs fulfill the incomplete fulfillment of Allah's commands on people, and the incomplete fulfillment of Allah's commands through the Sunnahs is completed.

That is why the Prophet (s.a.w.) said, "My ummah will be divided into seventy-two factions, and one faction will be the fırkaa najiyyah. He said, "These are the people who are Ahl as-Sunnah wal Jama'at.

For this reason, Allah (swt) revealed the Qur'an piece by piece to the heart of His Messenger (s.a.w.) and enlightened the human world with the Prophet (s.a.w.).

What is said in the video

And in verse 32 of Surah Al-Furqan, those who disbelieve said: Should the Quran not have been sent down to him all at once? That is, they said: If only it had been sent down all at once. We did it this way to settle it firmly in your heart. That is, sura by sura, verse by verse, to settle it firmly, and so that you would understand it well; (?) in every verse, every day, 70 of its meanings the Prophet (peace be upon him) would receive, and in his hadiths he says, for every (?) I would repent 70 times a day. That is, he would understand that one verse was lacking compared with another verse and repent for it.

In another verse, that is, when he received the 3rd meaning of the verse, compared with the 2nd meaning he would see the shortcoming. When he received the 50th meaning, he would see the shortcoming compared with the 49th meaning. So, in this case Allah Almighty, into the heart of the Prophet, because He sent him as a mercy to the worlds, so that he would explain the verses better to people, sent them down sura by sura, verse by verse. We did it this way to settle it firmly in your heart. We sent it down piece by piece and recited it distinctly, part by part, it says. How beautifully it puts it. We recited it distinctly, part by part.

Once people have given their covenant to Allah as deniers, they work to find excuses against every prophet and book Allah sends. Is there any lack of excuses for talk on earth? This time, as an excuse to deny the Prophet and Allah: why was the Quran not sent down at once, but sent down piece by piece? Look at the excuse they make. But Allah Almighty, with His attribute of patience, by answering them too with His verse, will have answered the excuses of the people who will come until the Day of Judgment as well.

Allah Almighty would create causes so that the Quran would be better understood and afterwards send His verses. Moreover, the One who sent the Quran down piece by piece, part by part, into the heart of the Prophet (peace be upon him), Allah, so that the Prophet (peace be upon him) would understand the Noble Quran better, sent it piece by piece like this. For the Prophet (peace be upon him) came as a mercy to the worlds. With the language of his state and the language of his tongue, he is an example to the worlds. So he would understand and apply the Quran well, so that people would understand the Quran well.

Yes.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) was raised with the character of the Quran by our Lord. My Lord raised me, and raised me well, he says. The Prophet (peace be upon him) is a prophet sent as an example to the worlds. I was sent to perfect good character, he says. So the Quran came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) little by little, recited part by part, and with its meanings the Prophet (peace be upon him) was built up. Every day the Prophet (peace be upon him) would receive seventy meanings of a verse. If the Noble Quran had come down all at once, how could he have borne the meanings of the verses in this way?

By the Quran coming down piece by piece, part by part, the Prophet (peace be upon him), understanding the Quran better, gave people his Sunnahs as a gift. For people who carry out the Sunnahs, given the incomplete performance of Allah's commands upon people, Allah's commands that were done incompletely are found completed with the Sunnahs. That is why the Prophet (peace be upon him) says: My community will split into 72 sects. One sect is the saved sect. And these are the people of the Sunnah and the community, he says. That is why Allah Almighty, sending the Quran down piece by piece into His Messenger's heart, letting him digest it bit by bit, has, through the Prophet (peace be upon him), flooded the world of humanity with light.
