We have brought exemplaries to each of them. (But because they denied being admonished) We have destroyed all of them.
Tafsir
When Allah (swt) gives people these examples, people should not misunderstand Allah (swt). In this verse, addressing people, He has commanded all of them, i.e. all of the tribes that perished, to follow Him, i.e. to follow the Prophets, to fulfill the commands of Allah. Although their Prophets conveyed the Truth to them, they ignored this conveyance. They did not listen to the advice given to them. They became a rebellious and cruel people on earth. Therefore, Allah says, "We have destroyed them in the earth, lest the generation that follows them should follow them and lead them to disaster.
Yet, despite all these examples, people persisted in not turning to the truth. They did not stop disobeying Allah (swt). So if these people do not listen to advice, do not see the truth, do not know the truth and do not want to hear the truth, they are human beings in appearance. But in reality they are animals, or worse than animals. This is because Allah says that they are like the quadrupeds that walk on the earth. If these people do not give up this way, if they remain on a path that is the most deviant of paths, when they go to the Hereafter as disbelievers, they will find Hell at the end of this path.
What is said in the video
To Surah Al-Furqan, verse 39, we have come.
Surah Al-Furqan, verse 39: To each of them, so that they would follow, we set forth examples. We gave them. With examples. But because they did not take heed, we destroyed them all, it says. Yes. How beautiful. To them, it says, we made our laws known. We made our commands known. As humans we created them (?). As the vicegerents on earth we placed the whole earth under their command. But they did not listen to us. So we, in turn, destroyed them, it says. When Allah Almighty gives people these examples, it is so that people do not wrongly perceive Allah Almighty. So that they do not misperceive Him.
In this verse, addressing people, He commanded all of them, that is, the destroyed peoples in their entirety, to follow Him, that is, to follow Allah Almighty, to obey the prophets and to carry out Allah's commands. Although the prophets conveyed the truth to them, they did not heed what was conveyed. They did not listen to the advice given to them. They became an unruly, (?) people on earth. So that the generation coming after would not follow them and they would not drag them into disasters too, Allah Almighty destroyed them on earth. Still, despite so many examples, people stubbornly refused to turn to the truth, and they did not stop opposing Allah Almighty.
So if these people do not listen to advice, do not see the truth, do not know what is right, and do not want to hear the truth, then in outward form they appear human. But in character they are animals, or even lower than animals. Because Allah says they are like four-legged beasts roaming the earth. If these people do not give up these ways, and they are on a path that is the most astray of paths, when they go to the hereafter as deniers, at the end of this path they will find hell. Such people are human in form, animal in character. Yes.
