When they see you, they mock you, saying; “Really? Is this the one that Allah has sent us as a Prophet?
Tafsir
The Prophet (PBUH) grew up as an orphan, and among the Arabs, orphans were considered inferior and despicable. Therefore, the polytheists and disbelievers wanted to see the Prophet as they imagined him in their minds. For example, there will be people of good standing, wealth, lineage, offspring, children, and well-to-do people, and since the Prophet did not have the qualities they thought he had, they used to mock and belittle the Prophet, saying, "Is this the Prophet sent to us by Allah?
If only the disbelievers and polytheists, those who do not believe in Islam, who call what they have invented according to their minds a religion, and who follow the ideologies they have invented, had only known the greatness and messengership of the Prophet (pbuh)! If only they knew the greatness and messengership of our Prophet (s.a.w.), that he has no equal among the created beings, that Allah (swt) has given our Prophet (s.a.w.) the maqam Mahmud, that people cannot even imagine this maqam, that He has created the worlds from the light of our Prophet (s.a.w.), that all human beings are indirectly created from the spirit of our Prophet (s.a.w.), that Allah (swt) has made our Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.), Habib-i Kibriya Hatemen Nabi Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w.), the Prophet of Allah (s.a.w.), His Essence.If only they could realize that Allah (swt) has made our Prophet (s.a.w.) as a mir ad for His own Self, that without you I would not have created these worlds, that our Prophet (s.a.w.) was the first to be created, that he was sent as the last Khatemen Prophet, that the glory of our Prophet (s.a.w.) will be remembered until the Day of Judgment with the last religion of Islam that Allah (swt) sent, and that he will be a witness to all Prophets and his ummah will be a witness to all nations.
Those who lack this understanding and comprehension cannot affirm Allah and the Prophet and cannot turn towards the truth. They are on a misguided path, and at the end of that path they will reach Hell, which is an evil place of return.
O man! Are you still not going to think? You will not realize that the path you are on is an abyss. You will not be grateful to Allah who has given you all these blessings. By persecuting your life, which you love so much, you will make me suffer my torment. Turn back, do not follow the devil and your ego. Do not be deceived by the beautiful appearance of the world, be a servant to Allah and an ummah to His Messenger and you will find salvation.

Surah Al-Furqan, verse 41: When they see you, saying, is this the one Allah sent as a prophet?, they always mock you. Yes.
And when we warn the Diyanet: this man doesn't know Arabic. This man, to suit his own view, distorts the verses, they say, and they try to sprinkle falsehood over the truth. Arabic will save them. These people will ascribe attributes to Allah; knowing Arabic, they will ascribe attributes to Allah. And so they will teach superstitions to all people. And Allah will save them because they know Arabic.
When they see you, saying, is this the one Allah sent as His prophet?, they always mock you, it says. The Prophet (peace be upon him) grew up an orphan. Among the Arabs, orphans were looked down on as lowly. For this reason the polytheists and unbelievers wanted to see the Prophet as they imagined him in their own minds. For example, he would be a man of standing, he would be wealthy, he would have lineage, children and family. And since the Prophet lacked the qualities they had in mind, they looked down on the Prophet (peace be upon him) and, saying, is this the one Allah has sent us as a prophet?, they mocked him and made light of him.
Yet the unbelievers and polytheists, who do not believe in Islam, who by their own reasoning call what they made up a religion, and who chase after these ideologies they made up — the prophethood and messengership of the Prophet (peace be upon him), if they had only known them, that he has no like or equal among created beings, that Allah Almighty gave the Prophet (peace be upon him) the Maqam Mahmud, that people cannot even imagine this station, that He created the worlds from the light of the Prophet (peace be upon him), that all people were indirectly created from the spirit of the Prophet (peace be upon him), that Allah Almighty took the Beloved (?), the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as a mirror for His Self, that He said: Had it not been for you, I would not have created these worlds, and that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was created first, that as the very last, the Seal of the Prophets, he was sent, that with the religion of Islam, the last Allah Almighty sent, the Prophet's renown is remembered until the Day of Judgment, and that, he being a witness over all the prophets, his community too will be witnesses over all communities — if only they could grasp this.
Those who lack this understanding and comprehension cannot affirm Allah and the Prophet, and cannot speak the truth. In this state they are on a deviant path, and at the end of the path, what an evil place of return — hell — is what they reach.
O human! Will you still not think? You will not understand that the road you are on is a cliff. Will you not understand? Will you, by associating partners with Allah who gave you all these blessings, not be grateful? Will you, wronging this soul you love so much, leave it to torment, to torment? Turn back; do not follow Satan and your nafs. Do not be deceived by the world's fair appearance. Be a servant to Allah and of the community of His Beloved, so that you find salvation.
