Translation

The share in provisions of every living being that walks on earth is only up to Allah. Allah knows where it stands and the place at which it will be left. All of it is in a preserved Book (Record) (in the Lawh- al Mahfooz).

Tafsir

(The sustenance of every living creature that walks on the earth belongs to Allah alone.) From this verse it is clear that there is no other God but Allah, La ilaha illallah, which is the meaning of Tawheed. If Allah (swt) informs us that the sustenance of all beings and living creatures belongs to Allah alone, then there is no other God but Allah (swt) who can provide sustenance for His creatures and who is aware of their behavior and actions. He is the owner of His creatures and is aware of all their conditions. It is Allah who does not oppress His creatures, but is compassionate and merciful.

Allah is the Knower of the heavens and the earth that He has created, as well as of all that is between them and the living creatures therein, knowing where they stand and where they will eventually die. Because this world was created on a program. He knows where and when the living beings and particles that will come until the Day of Resurrection will arrive, what they will do and when they will leave. He has written down these events in a clear Book, the Holy Qur'an. This Qur'an is preserved in the Levh-i Mahfuz. The original is there. It was sent as a light to the same people as the original.

What is said in the video

On the earth, of every walking living being, the provision rests solely upon Allah. Yes, it is Allah who gives provision. He is guarantor of the provision of everything He creates.

There is no living being that Allah Almighty would create and, after creating it, push it away from Himself and leave it alone. That is not possible. Well, Hodja, if He is guarantor of every living being's provision, those dying of hunger in Africa — what do you say about them? Are they not Allah's creation? Yes. Allah Almighty sent us to this world to be tested with one another. With one another.

Each of us earns rewards and sins through one another.

Let us not say that Allah Almighty gives no value to this world He created. In the verse He says it has a little value. For Allah Almighty created it in return for an effort.

Man, however, is more valuable than this world. For he is the noblest of creatures. He has put the world at his command.

Everyone has a covenant with Allah Almighty and, as a result of that covenant, a destiny.

According to that destiny of theirs, those suffering hunger there are either struck by a calamity. A calamity. Or, since there is no more destruction like that of the peoples He destroyed, Allah Almighty, by giving them calamities in this way, shows them to people as an example for taking lessons. An example for taking lessons.

It is not possible that people say Allah, Allah, and Allah subjects them in the world to such a test. Subjects them to calamities. Well, Hodja, do calamities come only to non-Muslims? Do they not come to Muslims? They do. Why? Everything appears before our eyes. If in that land those Muslims, in a way that outdoes a non-Muslim, go far in immorality, go beyond all bounds in fraud, live their lives in a way that outdoes a non-Muslim, then since Allah Almighty's mercy is upon everyone in the universe, He does not distinguish between that non-Muslim and this one on the grounds that he is a Muslim. He rains these calamities on them too.

Yes. That is why Allah Almighty: of every living being walking on the earth, the provision rests solely upon Allah. Allah knows the place where that creature stays and the place where it will finally be left — He knows. Where does it stay? Where will it leave the world? That is, where will its death be? He knows this. All of these are in a clear book, in the Preserved Tablet. That is, they are within this Quran that we know. All of it.

Since it has come up, let me tell you something that happened to me — I have told you before, but there is benefit in repetition.

I was on duty.

Two captains.

They knew I was devoted to worship.

They called me in. We are going to ask you something, they said. And I said, ask.

Now, they said, 1500-page, 3000-page books on judgeship are being written. Medical books are being written. Chemistry books are being written. Physics and biology books are being written. Each of them thousands of pages in volume. So, he said, all of them, all of them — these, he said, are in the Quran you speak of, he said? All of it.

And we said that the word of Allah Almighty is built on letters, that some letters, coming side by side, correspond to many meanings, even to creating secrets. They began to talk mockingly. Mockingly. I said, your problem is understood. I said, let me tell you a word or two, maybe you will feel relieved. If a person does not believe in the Quran and hadith, do not answer him at all, do not talk, finish your business, I said, and I left. But in the meantime I explained the religion of Islam to them in many ways. When they could not find a way out, they began to talk mockingly. In the end I said these things and walked out.

So, on the earth — not only on earth, in the universe, whatever will be, whatever exists — "With Us is a book that is preserved in the Preserved Tablet; afterwards nothing is added to it and nothing is missing" — according to the verse in which He says this, Allah Almighty, who created these worlds, created, programmed, and all of it He wrote down in the Quran, laid it all out. Whatever there is, wet and dry, is in the Quran. The Prophet (peace be upon him) says so too. I am leaving you such a trust that as long as you hold fast to that trust you will find life. For the wet and the dry are in it, he says.

What is it, he says? It is the Quran, says the Prophet. This is what this verse corresponds to.

What was it? The provision of every living being walking on the earth rests solely upon Allah. Allah knows the place where that creature stays and where it will finally be left. All of these are in a clear book, in the Preserved Tablet.

People carry, um, carry hadiths around, saying I am a hadith scholar.

They know nothing of hadith; they do not know which verse it corresponds to.

Hazrat Imam Ghazali says one who knows three hadiths is a scholar. He even says one who knows a single hadith is a scholar. This is not said of people who carry this in their pocket, who carry hadiths around. The person who knows which verse that hadith corresponds to, he says, is a scholar. In this case a person neither carries hadith nor has any knowledge of the hadiths. Through hearsay, with the ideologies of this one and that, they have distorted the hadiths. Wretched people who, having read what is not hadith, took it for hadith, come up against us saying this man denies the hadiths. Wretched people who know nothing of hadith.

Yes. If I deny the hadiths, then warn me openly: according to this verse, the hadith you cite contradicts it.

Since hadiths correspond to verses, you do not understand hadith, yet you call yourself a hadith scholar — warn me like that. You cannot say it. Because you know nothing of yourself. I know very well, from the word that comes out of your mouth, that you know nothing of yourself. Hazrat Mevlana says so too. Say a word to me, and I will tell you where you stand, he says. The very moment you open your mouth to object, with your own shame you exactly embody the symbol of displaying your own ignorance — that is what you are doing. Yes. That is why you should know well what hadiths are. Hadiths. How beautifully Allah Almighty says that the wet and the dry are in the Quran.

All of these are in a clear book, in the Preserved Tablet, He says. All of it. Written down, laid out. So the wet and the dry are in the Quran. If you hold fast to it, you will prosper, he says.

Of every living being walking on the earth, the provision rests solely upon Allah.

From this

verse, that there is no god other than His Essence — La ilahe illallah, which is the meaning of tawhid, La ilahe illallah (?), that is, Allah Almighty's creation, or the symbol of creating, emerges. It symbolizes Allah Almighty.

Yes. That is, Allah Almighty symbolizes here that there is no god but Allah. With what? That there is no god other than His Essence — la ilahe illallah, the meaning of tawhid — it symbolizes. Because since there is no creator other than Allah, all the provision of so many perfections created in these worlds, solely Allah Almighty gives. There is no second god who would give the provision of the beings he created in these worlds. If there had been a second god, we too would have known of him. How would we? The heavens and the earth, what is between the two, and all this creation, these worlds surrounded by the Throne of Allah, solely in the way the one Allah has made known to us in the Quran, symbolize that there is no god other than His Essence.

If there were, he too would have sent such a book. He would say, I too have creations.

(?), he would say. And we too would have known of it. And to what I am saying in this way, Allah Almighty speaks such a verse. If there had been another god besides Me, he would take what he created, and the other would take what he created. The worlds would fall into ruin, He says.

So giving the provision of all the creatures, the living beings that roam the earth, belongs solely to Allah. And this too (?) tawhid. La ilahe illallah. If Allah Almighty tells us that the provision of all beings and walking creatures belongs solely to Allah, then there is no other god besides Him who would give provision to His creatures and be aware of their states and movements. Well, did not such people appear? They did. Like the Nimrods, like the Pharaohs. What happened? They all died and were gone. They croaked. In the end? In the end, of Allah, who is Hüvel evvelü vel ahiru vez zahiru vel batın, the word remained everlasting.

The Quran remained everlasting. Allah still addresses us. Yes.

How do we know, Hodja? Allah wrote the book too, but vanished. How do we know? Just as the Pharaohs vanished — they too said I am Allah and vanished — if a being who is never seen, a being, sent his book, how do we know he did not vanish too — if we say that, until the Day of Judgment scholars will come. Until the Day of Judgment. Will they come? They will. Allah says He will complete His light until the Day of Judgment. Yes. In this case, to those who would ask such a question, Allah Almighty symbolizes this verse.

The angels and the scholars bear witness to the existence of Allah, He says. So whether you accept me as a scholar or not, I am a witness. I am a witness to the existence of Allah.

I have forgotten lies, I do not lie, but if you like, accuse me of lying — that is left to that person's own will, a feeling. If Allah Almighty says the scholars and the angels bear witness to the existence of Allah, and if Allah will complete His light until the Day of Judgment, and since until the Day of Judgment no prophet will come again, if scholars are to explain Allah's religion to people, and since the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is alive — alive. How do we know? You have seen him too. And not just once. Not just once. Not even just ten times. In that case, accuse me of lying if you like.

If you like, imagine whatever you imagine according to your own mind. Allah, who is witness between you and me, is enough for me.

Tomorrow at the Great Court we will settle accounts. In this case, Allah Almighty subsists by His Essence. He is the Owner in the realms of the hereafter. Yes.

He is the Owner of His creatures and the One aware of all their states. The One who does not torment His creatures, who treats them with His mercy, who is compassionate and merciful, is Allah. Allah Almighty is the One who knows where the heavens and the earth He created, as well as what is between them, and the living beings there are, and where they will die in the end. For this universe was created upon a program. He knows where and when the living beings and particles that will come until the Day of Judgment will come, what deeds they will do, and when they will go. He has written down these events that will happen in the Quran, which is a clear book.

This Quran is preserved in the Preserved Tablet; its original is there; the exact same as its original has been sent to people as a light. The Quran. How do we know the Quran has not been changed, Hodja?

The Quran is preserved in the Preserved Tablet; its original He has written down in the Quran and laid out. This Quran is preserved in the Preserved Tablet. Its original is there. The exact same as its original has been sent to people as a light. How do we know, Hodja? That it has not been changed. Earlier, to your own wills, to your own consciences, in return for the talk I entrusted, after proving to you, with our Lord's verse, that He is Hüvel evvelü vel ahiru vez zahiru vel batın, that He is the Owner of these worlds and of the realm of the hereafter, and having proven inescapably that Allah Almighty's Essence exists, then that Allah, our Lord, decrees as follows.

We sent down the Quran, and We are its guardian until the Day of Judgment. Not a single letter of it will suffer any damage, any damage at all, He says. So it is the original of the Quran in the Preserved Tablet. Yes.

Such beautiful verses, aren't they? With one another, with the questions that come to our mind. Yes.
