When Our order came, We saved Salih and the ones who believed with him as a mercy from Our side (from the punishment), and from the despicableness of that day. Verily, your Lord is Qawiyy (Most Mighty) and Azeez (Most Exalted).
Tafsir
Finally, on the third day the deadline expired and Allah's command was fulfilled. Allah saves Salih and those who believed with him from the torment and humiliation of that day. Others will perish.
Allah's command is the truth and Allah is all-powerful. Because Allah is all-powerful. This power is beyond human understanding. Allah created the universe out of nothing and created it with knowledge. He has created every object under His power and dominion. He is all-powerful because He holds His creatures under His sway.
Behold, O man! Destructions are described one after another. In the next verse, the destruction of the people of Prophet Abraham and Prophet Lot will be described. We will read together and learn how people who rebelled against Allah were destroyed. Also, Allah's destruction of these people is an example for the generations to follow and to introduce His Wahdat to the people. It is for the people living on earth to live their lives in peace and tranquility as they fulfill their worship and worship of Allah. It is to give people high ranks in the Hereafter. Allah does not intend injustice to people. Man wrongs his own soul by acting outside of Allah's command.
What is said in the video
When Our command came, Salih and those who believed with him We saved, as a mercy from Us, from the punishment and from the disgrace of that day. Would a person ever say Allah, and Allah leave him exposed to punishment? Is this possible? Why is it not possible? Because Allah does not intend injustice to people. We do not will injustice to people, He says. They wrong their own selves, He says. Yes. Does Allah not give people some wrongs? Does He not give calamities? On condition of not loading onto our backs a burden we cannot bear, so that we hold ourselves, those around us and Allah as witnesses of what kind of person we are, these are the calamities He has given us under a burden we can bear.
This much there will be. Of course there will be. We came into the world to prove what kind of person we are. This will happen. Yes. So a person says Allah, leans his back on Allah, trusts in Allah and takes his place on his Lord's side. He does not step outside what his Lord says, His commands. If a person, from what Allah has forbidden, what He does not want, in his own self, through training, moves away, and brings his nafs (?) to perfection, then this person, who enters among those Allah loves, both in this world and in the Hereafter, is under the mercy of Allah Almighty.
These people have peace in this world, and in the Hereafter they possess the eternal abode of bliss. Yes. So, as a mercy from Us, from the punishment and the disgrace of that day, Salih and those who believed in Allah We saved. Surely your Lord is strong. He is the one who prevails over everything. One of His names too. Salih (peace be upon him) and those who believed with him He saves from the punishment and disgrace of that day. The others He destroys. So Allah's command is true, and Allah over everything, Allah prevails over everything. Because Allah is very powerful. Human reason cannot grasp this power.
Of course it cannot. Allah creates from nothing. Can our reason grasp it? Allah makes these worlds travel through the void. Can our reason grasp it? The sun, moon and earth system, together with the moon system, He has set in the sky, in the heavens, in the void. On earth He has brought about the seasons, brought about night and day; can our reason grasp it? These galaxies floating in the heavens, the great planets, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, the Earth, the Moon, such great planets, neither approach nor move away from one another.
Can our reason grasp how these were created? And in this void they will travel until the measure Allah Almighty has willed. Allah, who created these with that knowledge and created what He created firmly, would He give us what He created to our reason? Yes. Because He keeps what He created under His rule, He is powerful. We, however, are people in need of Allah and in helplessness. We are people who find life through Allah. Yes.
So, O human! The destructions are told one after another. The destructions. In the next verse the destruction of the peoples of Abraham and Lot will be told. How the people who rebelled against Allah were destroyed, by reading together we will learn. Also, Allah Almighty's destroying them is a lesson for the generations after and to make His oneness known to people. It is so that, through people fulfilling their servanthood and worship to Allah, the people living on earth may go on living in peace and tranquility. It is so that He may give people high ranks in the Hereafter. So Allah does not intend injustice to people.
A person, by acting outside Allah's command, wrongs his own self. Yes.
