Tafsir
Hadrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' was a Prophet who was devoted to Allah. When the angels were on their way to destroy the people of Hadrat Lot (peace be upon him), they also visited Hadrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) by Allah's command. The good news of the angels to Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' was the good news that his wife would become pregnant. They said to Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm', Peace be upon you.
Hadrat Abraham 'alaihis-salâm' greeted the angels, whom he thought to be human beings, with greetings. Hadrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' immediately brought a roasted calf for the angels to eat. Because Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' was a Prophet who loved guests and liked to feed them at every table.
What is said in the video
Surah Hud, verse 69 — that is where we stopped. Indeed, Our messengers — the angels. Our messengers, the angels. They brought Abraham good news and said, "Peace be upon you." "Peace be upon you." He said, "Peace be upon you too," and at once brought a roasted calf. Abraham (peace be upon him). Allah Almighty gave Abraham great wealth. This wealth was given — he was very thankful for the blessings He gave. He never trampled on blessings. When eating too, so they say, he would hang a napkin around his neck; the napkin — the bread he ate, when it fell onto the napkin, he would gather that too and eat it.
So Allah Almighty, in turn, increased his wealth more and more.
Who are these messengers? These messenger angels — the ones who will go to destroy the people of Lot, those messengers. At the same time, Abraham is in his nineties. So they say. In one report he is over 100, and his wife in her nineties, and his wife was barren. They give him the good news that he will have a son. A son. Yes. So in the verse: Indeed, Our messengers, the angels, brought Abraham good news and said, "Peace be upon you." He said, "Peace be upon you too," and at once brought a roasted calf. So that they would eat. He thinks they are humans. Angels... to me — you know me. You know there is no deficiency in me.
Perhaps those who don't know me may fall into doubt. We met angels in person. In person. At Zuhurat Baba. You were there too, weren't you? See. Witnesses. We said, "If you've closed the door, which way do you go?" He told us, "It is a closed door, there is nothing behind it." A closed door, nothing behind it. And very handsome, and young. Thirty-three years old, they say, right? Thirty-three. Just like a human (?).
Abraham too saw them that way, and I saw them a few more times and couldn't tell them apart. They came. Once, when (?) died, one came and gave the news. It was raining hard; I couldn't go to (?) funeral. So, I mean, we encountered them a few times. Just like a human, you can't tell the difference. So even though Abraham was a prophet, he couldn't tell them apart; it's impossible to tell them apart. Abraham (peace be upon him) is a prophet devoted to Allah with all his heart. While the angels were going to destroy the people of Lot (peace be upon him), by Allah's command they also stopped by Abraham (peace be upon him).
The angels' good news to Abraham (peace be upon him) is the news that his wife will become pregnant. They said to Abraham (peace be upon him), "Peace be upon you." Abraham (peace be upon him), to the angels he took for humans, "Peace be upon you too," he replied. Abraham (peace be upon him), offering hospitality to the angels, so that they would eat, at once brought a roasted calf. Because Abraham (peace be upon him) is very hospitable, a prophet who at every meal is glad to host guests.
You too saw the angels. Handsome, young, lively, and from them a kind of electricity comes over you, an electricity like that. Powerful. So when they went to Lot, those people, the homosexuals, raid the house of Lot to take the angels. They think they are humans, the scoundrels. They are preparing their own destruction, you see; we'll come to that and tell about them too, inshallah. Yes.
