Hud 71: And We gave him the glad tidings about Isaac, and after Isaac, also Jacob. At that moment, his wife was standing and laughed (upon hearing these words).

Or else an unveiling (kashf), or whatever you call it, as if she had come out of the kitchen like this — out of the kitchen she came, clapping her hands like this. I mean, I can feel it.

Sarah, I suppose — isn't that the wife's name? Yes. Laughing, she says, "I am a barren woman, how could I have a child?" I feel this, like that. By Allah's command, the angels gave Abraham (peace be upon him) the good news of Isaac and, after him, of Isaac's son, Jacob (peace be upon him).

When this good news was given, Abraham's wife heard these words and laughed. Because it is reported that Abraham's wife was 90 and he himself 120. It is reported that Abraham was 120 years old. At the same time, the wife of Abraham (peace be upon him) is barren. That is, she is unable to bear children. So she laughed because she did not believe she would have a child. Yes.

What a beautiful history, history. Allah Almighty speaks with people. He speaks. I mean, if a person came before you and told it like this, perhaps you wouldn't listen. You'd get bored, you'd leave. But Allah Almighty draws you to Himself so beautifully that you listen with delight. Me, I listen with delight like that. I don't know about you. Yes.
