Translation

They said; “you know that we don’t ask for your daughters. And you certainly know what we want.”

Tafsir

His people said to Hadrat Lut 'alaihis-salâm', "We have no right over your daughters. Because when we want to marry them, you ask us to believe in you, but we are not going to believe in you. Therefore, they say, we have no right over your daughters.

Another meaning here is that since the Prophets are the elders and fathers of their people, they can offer these girls in marriage to people who believe like them. Since these people are perverted and do not lust for women but have relations with their fellow human beings, you know that we have nothing to do with women. They also say, "You know what we want," meaning the messengers, and they force Lot to give it to them. They also prove that they have relations with their own sex.

What is said in the video

They said: On your daughters, of your daughters, we have no claim, you know that, and you surely know what we want. That is, give me those guests who came to you, give them to us. His people to Lot (peace be upon him): We have no claim on your daughters, because when we want to marry them, you ask us to believe. You ask us to believe.

Yet we are not going to believe in you. Therefore we have no claim on your daughters, they say. In another sense here, since prophets are in the position of the elder and father of their people, they may propose that these girls marry people who believe as they do. And since these people were perverted, felt no desire for women and had relations with their own sex, it means: That we have nothing to do with women, you know. Yes. Also, by saying 'you know what we want', meaning the messengers, they press Lot (peace be upon him) to hand them over to them. And they also prove that they have relations with their own sex.
