The ones who are saddened are in fire. How violent their breathing is there!

Tafsir

Those who mocked the Verses and Prophets of Allah (swt) while they were in the world, who lusted after what Allah (swt) created, who wore the world on their backs without saying halal and haram, who turned their faces away from Allah (swt) and practiced polytheism, who could be more miserable than these when they see that the Day of Reckoning is real?

When they are dragged into the Fire, they will be horrified by the suffering they will endure, and their breath will be constricted in their terror and fear. They will be breathing like their chest is going to burst.

O man! Allah is clearly enumerating all these things in front of people, creating Miracles, calling people to Hidayet with truths. So what is happening to us, when such truths are in front of us, we turn our backs, taking Allah's Verses lightly. Isn't this an ignorant behavior? Doesn't it show that we are not using our minds? Then repentance is useless and people cannot escape the wrath of Allah.

What is said in the video

Those who are wretched are in the Fire, here, the 24th verse, Surah Al-Baqarah: 'Toward the fire prepared for the disbelievers do not go,' it says. Indeed, those wretched ones, those who are eternally in Hell, are in the Fire. There they have such dreadful gasping, it says, inside such a dreadful fire. Those wretched ones, who, while in the world, mocked Allah Almighty's verses and His prophets, who, Allah Almighty's creations (?), who, without saying halal or haram, loaded the world on their backs, who turned their faces from Allah and associated partners with Him — when they see that that Day of Reckoning is real, who could be more wretched than these?

They have no one to save them. Allah's mercy has been lifted from them; they are left without anyone, alone. When they are dragged to the Fire, in the face of the torments they will suffer, they will be terrified, and in this terror and fear their breath will be tight for them. They will breathe as if their chests were about to burst.

I am telling it from having lived it, from having lived it. How you get scared, you run somewhere, you cannot breathe like this, your breath gets to the point of bursting. Your chest swollen like this. You get to the point where you cannot breathe. That fear is sudden, that terror is sudden, like that.

You live it. Like, now I can't breathe like this. One lives it. The breath feels tight, that is. Like that. Allah makes you live that experience. You live it like that. So, O man! Allah lays out plainly before people all that will happen. He creates miracles; He calls people to guidance with truths. Well, what is the matter with us that, with so many truths before us, (?) Allah's verses, we turn our backs? Isn't this ignorant behaviour? Doesn't this show that we do not use our minds? Afterwards regret is of no use, and people from Allah's wrath will not escape.
