Translation

Vow to that; We gave Moses the Book. But there have been disputes about it. If a word had not been given by your Lord, a judgment would surely have been made among them (and they would have been destroyed). Verily, they (the people of Makkah) are in deep doubt about the Qur’an.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) also gave the Torah to Moses (peace be upon him). But the people changed the Torah among themselves in exchange for money for their rabbis and they differed. This is what would have happened if there had not been a promise from Allah: When people made a covenant with Allah in the past, if they had not been given the life span within their destiny, Allah (swt) would have seized them and destroyed them for what they disputed among themselves. The righteous and the unrighteous would have been separated.

Allah, who has programmed all these worlds and who has given people their own desires and wishes as their destiny, knows the desires and wishes of the people who will come until the Day of Resurrection, and He informs us that the Meccans had deep doubts about the Qur'an.

What is said in the video

Verse 110 of Surah Hud we will try to explain to you. “Indeed, We gave Moses the Book.” Yes, Allah Almighty gave the Torah. The Torah. “But there was disagreement about it.” Which — can you imagine? Man disagrees about the Book Allah Almighty gave. With that partial (?). “Had a word not gone forth from your Lord, judgment would surely have been passed between them and their affair would have been concluded.” That is, had a word not been given by your Lord — “What kind of person will you be in the world, did you think you would (?)” — had that word not existed, and had there not been for you a time granted until the end of a life, a word, an address, a command, then with those actions of theirs they would have perished right there.

“Surely they” — the Meccans too — “are in deep doubt about the Quran.”

Yes. In verse 110 of Surah Hud Allah Almighty: “We gave Moses the Book. But there was disagreement about it.” If they disagree about the Book of Allah Almighty from your Lord, people, yes, will of course disagree about our talks too. They disagree about Allah's words. Those who fall into dispute with the words of Allah — who is without deficiency, who sends His command, sir, as mercy to the worlds, who acts for people's benefit, who will bring them out of darkness into light — if they talk like that about Allah, well, what won't they say about us, of course. It's normal. Everyone will prove what kind of person they are.

“Indeed We gave Moses the Book, but there was disagreement about it. Had a word not gone forth from your Lord, judgment would surely have been passed between them.” That is, so that people within a lifetime prove to themselves what kind of person they are — if this person's living until the end of this life given to them had not been commanded by our Lord, because of the mistakes they made or because of their rebellions they would have perished right there. That is, the matter would have been concluded. “Surely they” — the Meccans too — “are in deep doubt about the Quran.” Because the idolaters worshipped idols.

These people, these people would stand before the idols and strip stark naked. As naked as the day they were born, men and women would strip stark naked. Clapping their hands, whistling, sir, around the (?) (?) they would supposedly worship idols. Such immorality as does not exist even among animals. Sir, in this case these people, proving in this way what kind of people they are, will of course be in deep doubt about the Quran.

We move on to our lesson. Allah Almighty also gave the Torah to Moses (peace be upon him). But people among themselves had the rabbis change the Torah for money and fell into disagreement. For money. So, if a word had not come from Allah — and this word is: when people made the covenant with Allah in pre-eternity, if the lifetime within their destiny had not been given to them — Allah Almighty: “We would have seized them because of the things they disagreed about and destroyed them.”

The rightful and the wrongful would have been separated. So Allah, who programs all these worlds, who gives people their own desires and wishes as destiny, since He knows the desires and wishes of the people who will come until the Day of Judgment, makes known that the Meccans too had deep doubts about the Quran. Yes.
