Al-Furqan 45: Did you see how your Lord extended the shadow? If Allah desired, Allah surely would have made it motionless. Then, We made sun a proof for it.

This is verse 45 of Surah Al-Furqan, isn't it? We haven't read this one. Have you not seen how your Lord extends the shadow? it says. Have you not seen how He extends the shadow? What does it mean? The sun turning around its own axis, the earth, facing the sun, turning around its own axis, what does it do?

The part that sees it is day; the part that does not see, the earth's sun, the part that does not see becomes dark. In this case, turning in front of the sun, when it first comes up over the mountain, the shadow is long.

Then the shadow, slowly, slowly, slowly, slowly, when it is noon, comes toward its base. Then from that base the shadow starts to lengthen in the opposite direction. Why? Because the earth is turning. As the earth turns around its own axis, it will turn its back to the sun.

So what does it mean? Do you not see? Beyond human power, the sun, earth and moon system as qamar, that is, as a lunar system, We placed it in the sky as a lunar system. As they turn around their own axes, they bring about the seasons, well, the years. We created twelve constellations in the sky, it says. These twelve constellations: with the earth turning around the sun station by station every month, the seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter come about.

What a beautiful (?). Who can do this?

So now it leads us to reflect on His existence. Through knowledge.

Had He willed, He would surely have made it motionless. That is, had He wished, He would have created the earth completely flat. Completely flat. And He would have made the sun strike from the front.

There would be no night and day. You would stay like that. He would have created it completely flat. He would surely have made it motionless, they say. He would have made it motionless. He would have made it stand opposite. But what would happen? You would have no night, no day. Your hours of rest would not be fixed. As at the poles, it would be six months summer, six months winter. Day, six months of night. Even there He does not make it fully night. Twilight. Why twilight? By making the earth elliptical, elliptical. He does not plunge those places into light, into full darkness either.

Allah has created everything down to the finest detail. Yes.

Then We made the sun a proof for it, it says. The sun. Toward what? Toward the earth and the moon. What is its proof? Without the sun there would be no life. No life.

For life to exist there are three things.

Sun, air, water. Without these there would be no life.

Apart from this, how beautifully Allah Almighty writes it all out here, sets it all down. Allah Almighty, that He created the universe with knowledge, that there is no other god besides Allah, and how He created His creations, He tells in code, in code. When people advance in science and technology and, as far as Allah permits, come to grasp His coded speech, that Allah Almighty is the absolute ruler of the universe and that there is no other god besides Him, He has it proven to every mind. To every mind.

In this verse, by (?) the shadow and the sun, the proof of the shadow, as the earth turns around its own axis, the sun's (?), with the turning of the earth, the sun striking an object in the morning and the shadow lengthening, at noon, at the time of zenith, the shadow falling right at its base, then again in the evening at sunset the shadow lengthening to its longest, proves the earth's turning around its own axis. Yes. Allah Almighty says: had We wished, We would have kept the shadow fixed too. Yes. Had We wished, We would have created the earth not elliptical but completely flat. We would not turn it around its own axis, and when the sun struck the earth from a fixed place, since the earth would not turn around its own axis, the object the sun strikes would neither lengthen nor shorten.

Well, is there no place where He will bring the earth completely flat? There is. Where? Another place called (?). When there is another sky in the sky, when, it says, We bring the earth out completely flat, when it has neither descent nor ascent, it says, there is no swerving aside from Israfil. That is, in the hereafter He will bring the earth completely flat, and from there people, like plants, will rise from there. Their bodies will rise from the ground. Those cells in them that do not decay or vanish, with those signals, coded down to every person's finger tips, the souls will unite in an instant. And without swerving from Israfil, straight at the Great Tribunal, when the souls are paired, it says.

At the Great Tribunal. We will seal your mouths, bind your feet, make your hands speak. (?) Why? When he says, you are speaking against me, it says, my Lord, who makes me speak, makes me speak, it says. Then, when it says, We bring you to life twice and cause you to die twice, again, since our bodies were created from earth, they will die there, become earth, and the world, it says, He will roll up like an old rag and throw into hell. So what about those who enter paradise with the body? What about those who make a lake at the gate of paradise, cleanse people and bring them inside? Poor people. Poor, poor.

Those who pass themselves off as scholars, who write so in books. According to their own minds. Yes. For centuries people have grown used to it this way. The Hodja has come along and says words contrary to all people. Will they believe? They are obliged to believe; I am stating the verses. If he does not believe the verse, let him not believe me either. If I am not stating the verse, let him not believe me either. If he does not believe the verse, he has not believed in Allah.

Paradise will not be entered with bodies. According to the verse in which He says, We bring you to life twice and cause you to die twice, our first coming to life is in the world, our first death in the world, our second coming to life in the hereafter, our second death at the Great Tribunal, after giving account, upon the body, there. There is no death for souls. So since paradise and hell are eternal and everlasting, it is everlasting with souls. Everlasting with our souls. Our true being is our soul. These bodies are our cars, the cars we drive.

How? Just as we leave the car at the door and go inside, at death too we will leave the body and go with our soul. On the Day of Resurrection, so that we can meet at the Great Tribunal, Allah Almighty will bring the earth completely flat to the hereafter, and with that water, the sea of milk on the sixth level, He will water it. This too is a verse. With that water, it says, We will water it. That alone will bring those cells, the human cell, to life with its nafs, and there the human body, down to the fingertips, signals; those codes on the fingertips are people's signals. No signal matches any other signal.

Yes.

As for the sun being the proof of the shadow, it is to prove to people that the earth turns around its own axis. Moreover, the lengthening and shortening of the shadow is proof that the earth is round. If the earth were not round but flat like a tray, the shadow would neither lengthen nor shorten. And along with that, night and day would disappear too.

So at a time when the sciences did not exist, Allah Almighty explains how the universe was created. In the following verses too, with superhuman power and knowledge, of the creations unique to Allah alone and of how He created, He will tell people through the sciences. When, over time, the truth of the events they recount comes to light, that besides Allah's Self there is no other god, that He is the owner and creator of the universe, that everything from the atom to the globe was created by His Self, this they prove. The reason for these proofs is that He wills that people, whose will is in their own hands, know His Self and become His servants.

Indeed, He created the worlds so that His Self would be known. For this reason, since He wills His Self to be known through man, He both gave man a great trace of His spirit and created man as the noblest of creatures. Yes.
