Tafsir
Allah (swt) does not leave people without a head and does not leave them alone. For this reason, He sends prophets to people from time to time. He enlightens people's paths by introducing Himself. However, people who believe in Allah and the Hereafter have attained salvation, while the people of those who do not believe have been subjected to destruction from time to time. They have bought great torment in the Hereafter.
Hadrat Ya'qub 'alaihis-salâm understood that Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm would attain great heights with the dream he saw, so he said, "My child! Allah will glorify you and teach you the interpretation of the dream as you saw in your dream.
Now He will send Hazrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm' as a Prophet, as a lesson for people. He will complete His blessings on Hadrat Yusuf just as He completed His blessings on his ancestors, Hadrat Abraham and Hadrat Isaac. He will raise him as a Prophet and make him tell people the truth.
Allah is the All-Knowing. He is the Wise in His judgment. We will understand that Allah is the Wise in His judgment when we see in the following verses what Allah (swt) has prepared for Hazrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm' underneath these events, which seem to be sad. Allah (swt) introduces Himself to mankind through such wisdom. And there is no God but Allah.
What is said in the video
he says. The sixth verse, the sixth verse of Surah Yusuf, is a wrongly rendered verse. This one, let us read the wrong version first. The sixth verse of Surah Yusuf.
Thus your Lord will choose you, it says. Your Lord will choose you. Thus you will rise in the sight of your Lord.
He will teach you the interpretation of events seen in dreams. And just as He completed His favor on your two forefathers, Abraham and Isaac, before, on you and on Jacob He will also complete His favor. (?) Now what does it say here? Thus your Lord will choose you. Now what happened? It was left to Allah Almighty's will. As if He chooses the servants He wills; whereas (?) the prophets, having been created from the spirit of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), there is no choosing here. Since Allah Almighty willed and first created the prophets, those He first created, and then created the spirits of their peoples from the spirits of the prophets, Joseph (peace be upon him) here is not among those chosen, but a prophet by our Lord Himself, as one of the first created prophets.
So, since this part is wrong, (?) we corrected this part. What did we say? Thus you will rise in the sight of your Lord.
He will teach you the interpretation of (?) seen in dreams, and just as He completed His favor on your two forefathers Abraham and Isaac before, on you and on the line of Jacob He will complete His favor. For your Lord is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
Allah Almighty does not leave people without a head and alone. States too certainly have a king or a presidency, or a head. That state has laws. Since this world is a likeness and shadow of the hereafter, Allah Almighty too does not leave people to themselves, free within their own will, in a state where He would not make His being known to them; He does not leave them free like that. What does He do? He sends them prophets, He sends scholars. In this way He makes Himself known. Can one who knows and one who does not be the same? Certainly, since Allah Almighty does not call anyone to account without making it heard, look how beautifully the verse puts it.
Since He says: We do not call any of you to account without making it heard, people too did not come into the world to be left to themselves. And for us to know Allah Almighty's greatness, His existence and oneness, that He is the Owner of the worlds: His creating man as (?) from His essence and leaving his will free, so that man knows his Lord through his own existence; in this way, by creating people like this, He did not leave people in their own world to themselves. For He also limited their minds. Since with this limitation people are not free from error either, in this case Allah Almighty sends them prophets, and in their place, scholars as heirs of the prophets.
So Allah Almighty does not leave people without a head and alone. Therefore He sends prophets to people from time to time. By making Himself known, He illuminates people's paths. But while people who believe in Allah and the hereafter attain salvation, the peoples of those who do not believe have at times been subjected to destruction. In the hereafter, too, they have bought great punishments. Yes, when Allah Almighty sent prophets, sent prophets to these (?) peoples, and those prophets told the peoples the true verses of the Lord, and they, saying these are tales of the ancients, mocked the prophet, saying this is magic, and turned their backs on Allah and Allah's messenger, mocking and insulting him, and exceeded the limits of Allah Almighty's religious law, Allah Almighty destroyed those peoples.
Right now, aren't there people who exceed the limits of those religious rulings? There are. Then why doesn't He destroy them? Because as a mercy to the worlds He sent the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Because he came as a mercy to the worlds, Allah Almighty removed destructions and in their place put calamities. Calamities are just like destructions, but a people is not destroyed. Among them there are still the rebellious; although they are destroyed, it forms a fine lesson for them. By creating lessons, so that people do not say: had You given us a calamity, had You turned us back to ourselves, we would have obeyed You; so that they do not say that, Allah Almighty gives calamities. Three or two times a year We give them calamities, He says.
He creates them. These calamities given, (?), He says. Yes.
Jacob (peace be upon him), from the dream Joseph (peace be upon him) saw, that he would attain great ranks (?): My little son, Allah will exalt you. He will exalt you. And as you saw in your dream, He will teach you the interpretation of the dream, he said. Yes.
There is a missing letter. Let us correct that. Yes. Let us correct that. Let us continue our lesson.
Yes. Now He will send Joseph (peace be upon him) as a prophet, as a lesson to people. That is, to the people of Egypt, through causes, there He will send him and raise him there. Then He will send him to those people as a prophet.
Pharaoh claimed divinity. He declared himself God. He began to make his people worship him. And of course we said above earlier that Allah Almighty did not send people into the world to leave them to themselves. Allah, who creates, will certainly make Himself known to His creations. Certainly. In this case, according to Allah Almighty's verse 'I do not call anyone to account for something I have not made heard', our Lord, to these (?) peoples, to those who deny Allah, who associate partners with Allah, has certainly sent messengers and prophets. So now, as a prophet, Joseph (peace be upon him) He will send to people as a lesson, a teaching.
As long as the world stands, what Joseph (peace be upon him) went through, and how our Lord put him through which calamities, and in which situation taught and exalted him, He will show us as a lesson. And their patience, and because of the love they felt for Allah, because they loved their Lord so much, that they did not follow their nafs, that, sidestepping their nafs, Allah's words, by Allah's side they (?), with what beautiful lessons He will show us. What do we say? Now as a prophet He will send Joseph (peace be upon him) to people as a lesson.
Just as on his forefathers Abraham and Isaac He completed His favor, on Joseph too He will complete His favor. In Joseph's time this Pharaoh did not worship idols. After Joseph, after Joseph (peace be upon him), Pharaoh, the Pharaohs went astray. The Pharaoh in Joseph's time welcomed Jacob (peace be upon him), together with Joseph (peace be upon him), outside the city. That Pharaoh's situation I mentioned earlier is not in Joseph's time, it happens in the time of Moses. Moses, too, Allah Almighty to the Pharaohs, to Pharaoh, that is, when Pharaoh declared himself God, to invite him to Himself, as a messenger Moses (peace be upon him) He sends.
Yes.
He will raise him as a prophet and have him tell people the truth. The truth. Allah is All-Knowing, Wise in His judgment. Allah is All-Knowing, because He created this universe without any deficiency, one after another, so as to complete one another, like the teeth of a wheel, the gears of a clock, complementing each other He created it.
If Allah Almighty had left a deficiency in this creation, order and harmony would be disrupted. Even in the world, when animals, or in some events plants, decrease, if there is no other animal in the world to take the place of those animals, filth arises. Diseases arise. So we understand that Allah Almighty created His animals so as to (?) and clean the world. Now, for example, an animal breeds in Africa. Why does Allah Almighty produce animals? Africa is very rainy, sir, the equatorial regions or whatever; if there were not these animals there, antelopes, (?) antelopes, or these buffaloes we call water buffaloes, or roe deer, gazelles, grass would overrun it. If there were no elephants, no giraffes, grass would overrun those places.
Since these too breed naturally, as their numbers grow too much, the grass would not be enough for them, so Allah Almighty creates enemies for them. What does He do? He creates lions, tigers, sir, predatory animals for them. They sense the diseases of these animals. They pick out the sick ones, the (?) ones, and attack them. For example, a lion (?) the animal's liver and leaves (?). Behind it comes, now, I couldn't get my tongue around it. Hyenas. And Allah has given it such a jaw that the bones, crunching them, (?) (?). It cleans everything up as it is. Where there are no hyenas, vultures come.
They strip those bones nicely. They take off the flesh. They leave a bone dry as can be. And the rotting in nature, that mold, bacteria, the germs they prevent. He created them all to complement one another, and wisely He created them. And what is wisdom? What did He create, and why? Why did He create it? This we cannot know. We only know as much as He has made known. As much as He has made known. Yes.
So Allah is All-Knowing. He is Wise in His judgment. He knows well what He will create and why, and why He created it. What befell Joseph (peace be upon him) seems sad; what Allah Almighty prepared beneath these events for Joseph (peace be upon him) we will see only in the coming verses, together, and understand that Allah is All-Wise. Yes.
Allah Almighty also makes Himself known to people through such wisdoms. There is no god but Allah.
Now when you say there is no god, there will certainly be a confirmation, there will be a proof. Yes, Hodja, you said there is no god but Allah, that is, no creator. And I say there are other creators besides Allah. For example, those people worshipped mindless idols. You would say so too. If I show you a proof, proven, and that proof truly (?) with technology, and you cannot show me a proof, what you say becomes invalid. Now our proof: I said there is no god but Allah. Now we will show proof for this. Our Lord, who created these worlds, says: the heavens and the earth and what is between them have known the remembrance of their Lord.
The heavens and the earth and what is between them have known the remembrance of their Lord. In this case, when we examine the atoms of substances, the atoms of substances in those elements, within a certain number, rotate around their own axes. The positive and negative neutrons and protons rotate around their own axes. In this case they emit a signal. So with a frequency Allah Almighty, in which place of the universe, in any particle of it, there is a moving stir, what it receives and its wishes, through the trembling of that substance's atoms or their setting in motion, knows what is where. That's one. Second, it gives off a sound, a signal.
That too remembers Allah. Remembers Allah. The meaning of this: to prove that there is no god but Allah and that the creator of these worlds is their absolute owner. For example, a factory makes a product, stamps its symbol on it and gets its patent from the ministry of labor or the chamber of industry. Once it has its patent, under that patent, under that name, nobody else can produce that product. It belongs only to that factory, under that name. For example, Sabancı's Lassa, it says, puts a number there; when it produces that Lassa, another producer cannot say Lassa. He can only sell his goods under another name, but under that Lassa (?) he cannot sell. For example, Koç has a symbol, Arçelik; it has taken its patent too, no one but that factory can stamp Arçelik (?) on it.
Allah Almighty too created this universe; since He created all substances so as to make them remember Him, and since no being can be in a position to create these substances and make them remember itself, since these worlds, the heavens and the earth and what is between them were created by our Lord, the (?) that I have no god but Allah Almighty, in this way our Lord proves to us with proofs it. Let the other, as much as he wants, to trees, worshippers, idols, worshippers say: were these mindless too, did they have a Lord, is there a proof? There is none. The proof: in their creation, that the one who created him, and the one who created those substances, the idols worshipped, is Allah; this proof our Lord, in this way, with the words 'the heavens and the earth and what is between them knew the name of their Lord', has given.
In today's technology too, people clearly see this with proofs. Yes.
