Tafsir
This incident was heard by the woman's relatives and they immediately came to the scene. Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm' objected to the woman's slander against Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm' and said, "It is this woman who wants to take my soul, that is, who wants to sleep with me.
But there is no witness between them except Allah. Then one of his relatives came to the scene and said. If Joseph's shirt was torn from the front, then she is telling the truth and he is a liar. If a person attacks someone and the other person resists, because these people are face to face, in this conflict, if one of them resists or holds on to the other person and the resisting person reacts in the opposite way, the shirt that the other person is wearing will surely be torn in front. If the shirt was indeed torn from the front, she would be telling the truth and Joseph would be one of the liars.

If a person attacks someone and that person resists from the other side, since these people are face to face, in this struggle, with one resisting or holding the other, and the resisting person reacting with (?), surely the shirt someone is wearing will be torn from the front. If the shirt is really torn from the front, the woman will have told the truth. And Joseph will be one of the liars. That is, the thing is good — the judgment given by testimony is very good.
