Tafsir
Allah accepted the prayer of Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm'. He removed the trickery of the women from Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm'. These are examples for people who understand and comprehend that people who take refuge in Allah are protected by Allah and that such events are shown to people in order for them to see the greatness of the rewards they will attain in the sight of Allah.
The unknown doors of Allah are many. Because He is Allah, complete and perfect, free from all incomplete attributes. There is nothing for Allah. In this respect, when all doors are closed for those who are in the narrowest of straits and have no way out, Allah (swt) opens ways out for people. Because He is Allah. He is merciful and compassionate towards His servants. He tries every human nafs by giving calamities to make it witness to itself through various events, and He makes it witness to itself through the actions of the person. It leaves no soul with even an iota of justification to blame Allah.
How beautifully Allah rescues Hazrat Yusuf (as) from the hands of women. One of Zeliha's relatives gave a suggestion to Zeliha's husband, Azizi Egypt, and said: Even though Yusuf is right, let us keep him in the dungeon for a while to stop the rumors. They agreed on this decision with Azizi Egypt and threw Hazrat Yusuf into the dungeon. In this way, the prayer of Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm' was accepted by Allah and he was thrown into the dungeon, saying that it would protect Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm' from evil and that the dungeon was better for me than the trickery of these women.
By telling the story of Prophet Joseph, Allah shows people that Allah is not separate from human beings or the creatures He has created by showing them many things, such as what each one of them says and what they want to say. He shows mankind that His Essence is Life, that He is immortal, eternal and everlasting, that there is no other God but Him who created all this creation, the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, that no living creature can come to life without His permission, that He has wisdom in His judgment, that He sees and hears everything in the best way, and that He knows everything in the best way. So, O man! Be careful in the face of such a God, find your own self, do not think that you are irresponsible, and do not spend your life in vain by being deceived by the blessings of the transient worldly life.
What is said in the video
Surah Yusuf, verse 34. His Lord answered his prayer and turned their scheming away from him. For He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, says Allah Almighty. This time He speaks of Himself. He says He answered Joseph's prayer. Actually this was already written in (?). Within people's destinies. His wish was given to him as his destiny. Well, Allah Almighty created (?). And Joseph (peace be upon him) says: prison is better for me than the trap those women will set, O Allah. And instead of the trap the women would set, he longingly asks Allah for prison. Thereupon his Lord answered his prayer, and We turned their scheming away. How?
By his being thrown into prison. For He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, says Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty answered the prayer of Joseph (peace be upon him). He turned the women's scheming away from Joseph (peace be upon him). So that people may see how those who seek refuge in Allah are protected by Allah, and how great the rewards are that they will attain with Allah, such events are told and shown to people; for those who understand and perceive, these are examples to learn from. Now, according to these verses, people always tie how things come about to this world. That is, Allah doesn't know the future, doesn't know the future.
A person asked, Allah answered his prayer and gave it to him like this. Now He gave it like that, but then it went the wrong way. Did Allah do that? I mean, they even say it in the verses, don't they: parents would make their child a Christian or a Magian. May Allah protect us. What then of Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172? What then of every person, through the decisions he made with his partial will, having Allah Almighty write down his own wish as his destiny? Since people don't know the knowledge of the Quran, they speak by their own reasoning. Here too, you see, we say Allah Almighty answered the prayer of Joseph (peace be upon him); if we were to write about these in detail, in detail, truly these verses would make camel-loads, camel-loads.
Because these are all verses capable of being unfolded. Verses whose words all support one another, verses that support other verses, verses that are (?) to be unfolded. What do we say? Allah Almighty answered the prayer of Joseph (peace be upon him). Here too, at that address "Elestü bi Rabbiküm", while these prophets were being created with the first prophet, Allah Almighty's creating the prophets from the spirit of the Prophet and saying: I will send you to your peoples as prophets, do you accept? And their saying: we affirm it. And His saying: I am a witness over you, I have witnessed. And each spirit's own wish, by what it took and by its own will, becoming its destiny.
Becoming its destiny. If these points aren't known, that is where it ends up anyway. Allah Almighty answered the prayer of Joseph (peace be upon him). For the events to come, they will incline according to those characters. That is, he will keep away. He will pray to Allah Almighty. And Allah Almighty will accept it, his prayer, and raise him up, won't He. Now, why is this connected? It is supported by this verse. There is not a single living being until the Day of Judgment whose doings We would not know, He says. So Allah has programmed what each person will go through, what he will desire with his will, and what will happen through those desires.
He has programmed what will happen until the Day of Judgment. These things will happen within their destinies. So Allah Almighty answered the prayer of Joseph (peace be upon him). He turned the women's scheming away from Joseph (peace be upon him). So that people may see how those who seek refuge in Allah are protected by Allah, and how great the rewards are that they will attain with Allah, such events are told and shown to people; for those who understand and perceive, these are examples to learn from. So if a person reforms his nafs, especially if he is a prophet, what does it say in the previous verse?
Had We not shown him Our sign, he would have inclined towards them, that is, the title of prophethood. His showing him many events, confirming it, the eleven stars and the sun and the moon prostrating to him; We showed him such events, reminded him, you see, and protected him from such indecency he would have done, from evil, you see. Again, this happens by the person's own will, by his own will. Allah has many unknown doors. Because He is Allah. Complete and perfect. He is free of deficient attributes. For Allah there is no "there isn't". So for those in the direst straits and those with no way out left, when all doors are closed, Allah Almighty opens ways out for people.
Because He is Allah. He is merciful and (?) towards His servants. So that every person holds his nafs as witness against himself through various events, He tests him by giving afflictions. And through a person's own actions He makes him witness against himself. Yes.
Some letters are missing or entirely extra. We're showing them here. And at the same time we're reviewing it. So that every person holds his nafs as witness against himself through various events, afflictions (?) and through a person's own actions He makes him witness against himself. He leaves no soul even an atom of justification for blaming Allah. Yes.
Yes.
See how beautifully Allah delivers Joseph (peace be upon him) from the women's hands. From Zuleikha's relatives, here too, one of her relatives gives Zuleikha's husband, the Aziz of Egypt, some advice. He says: although Joseph is in the right, so that the gossip stops, let us keep him in prison for a while. In prison. For a while, that is, a short while.
Agreeing with the Aziz of Egypt on this decision, they throw Joseph into prison. They throw Joseph into prison. In this way, as the prayer of Joseph (peace be upon him) is accepted by Allah, He both protects Joseph (peace be upon him) from evil, and, as he said: prison is better for me than these women's scheming, he is thrown into prison. Yes.
In telling the story of Joseph, Allah, who as now relates beside them what each one said and what they wanted to say in all its bareness, tells it to people by showing them many things. Already at the very start of this event, in the story of Joseph, this is a story full of lessons, He says. Of lessons.
That His Being, Allah Almighty, is Hayy, ever-living, that He is deathless, everlasting from pre-eternity to eternity, that having created this whole universe, the heavens, the earth and what is between them, there is no other god besides Him, that without His permission no living being could find life, that He is wise in His rule and sees and hears everything in the best way, knows everything in the best way: this He shows to people. So, O man, be careful before such an Allah. Find your own self; do not think you are not accountable. Do not be deceived by the blessings of the passing worldly life, busy yourself with it and spend your life in vain.
Yes, indeed every soul will taste death, and finally our return: we will be called to account in the presence of Allah Almighty, Lord of the worlds. Man is not left to roam free in this world; man, who seems free as if unrestrained, is under such a yoke that, if he could only grasp it, every moment, every breath, everything he does is being written millimeter by millimeter, second by second, and all the things he will do will, as if filmed in one view, be laid before him tomorrow in the hereafter. In that case, if this person grasps this and lives his life in awareness of it, he keeps away from evil, rules over his nafs and strives to be among the servants Allah loves.
If not, weakness of faith, the nafs' dominion over man, his becoming friends with Satan through Satan's temptation bring man to disasters, to darkness, and, in the state of a bankrupt (?), before Allah Almighty, put him in the position of the guilty. May Allah protect us. Yes.
