Translation

Joseph said; “For seven years, you will plant grain as is your tradition. Then, with the exception of a small amount that you will consume, leave the harvest in its ear (and stock it).

Tafsir

Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm' begins to interpret the dream to the person who comes. He says: You plant crops as is your custom. The fact that he says "as is your custom" here reveals that the ancient Egyptians were engaged in agriculture. You sow the crops for seven years, except for a small part, except for the food you will eat, that is, the seeds you will sow. Then do not separate these ears from their stalks. Let them remain on their stalks. Stock up on them and save them. Again, the fact that he says "upon your custom" here is a declaration to continue agriculture. He is trying to explain that in seven years drought will start in this town and to take precautions.

What is said in the video

In the forty-seventh verse, Joseph said: for seven years you will sow as usual, then, except for a small amount of what you eat, store what you harvest in its ears and leave it, store it in its ears and leave it, he says. The interpretation of the dream. The seven fat cows, seven, I mean, the seven weak cows eating the seven fat cows. That is, the weak people will harvest, sow, harvest, and after these seven ears, after the seven ears, I mean, when he saw that the others were all dried up, what is beyond your need, he says, keep that as it is. Then in the seven ears there will be seven years of famine, and from these ears you stored you will eat, he says. That is, you will eat from (?).

Joseph (peace be upon him) begins to interpret it for the person who came for the dream's interpretation. Say: you will sow as usual. His saying 'as usual' here shows that the ancient Egyptians were engaged in farming. Sow your crops for seven years, except a small part of your food (?), that is, also set aside the seeds you will sow. Then do not separate these ears you harvested from their stalks. Let them stay on the stalks. Store them, gather them. Again, his saying 'as usual' here makes known that farming is to be continued. It is his trying to explain that in this land drought would begin after 7 years and that precautions should be taken.
