Yusuf 49: After this, a year will come in which people will be helped (by Allah) and in that year, they will press (fruit juice and oil).”

Translation

After this, a year will come in which people will be helped (by Allah) and in that year, they will press (fruit juice and oil).”

Tafsir

Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm' also gave them the good news of this year of abundance, an event that was not in the dream, but was revealed to him by Allah through revelation, with this Ayat-i-Karimah.

Then after that will come a year of abundance and they will be helped by Allah. In that year, they will make oil from products such as olives or sesame seeds, and juices from dates, grapes and other fruits.

In response to the miracles that Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm' interpreted and would show, Allah would have the treasures of the land of Egypt delivered to Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm'.

Joseph (peace be upon him) — this year of abundance, which was not in the dream, an event made known to him by Allah through revelation, he also announced to them as good news with this verse. Then after that a year will come in which there will be abundance; they will be helped by Allah. In that year they will obtain oil from produce such as olives or sesame, and from dates, grapes and other fruits they will obtain fruit juices.

So in the face of the miracles that Joseph (peace be upon him) interpreted and would show, Allah will have the treasures of the land of Egypt handed over to Joseph (peace be upon him).

How beautiful: Allah Almighty ties everything to causes, to causes. Because the worlds are programmed, and according to those programs, with people's wishes and desires, our Lord creates events. Through these events people carry on their lives within their destinies and also prove what kind of person they are. Meanwhile He has miracles shown through His prophets, and through His scholars He sheds light for people.
