Yusuf 67: Then he said this: “My sons! Do not enter (the city) all from one gate, enter from different gates. But I cannot prevent something (that is to touch you) from Allah. Ruling is not by anyone else but Allah. I only depend on Allah. Those who trust and depend should only depend on Allah.”

Then he said this: “My sons! Do not enter (the city) all from one gate, enter from different gates. But I cannot prevent something (that is to touch you) from Allah. Ruling is not by anyone else but Allah. I only depend on Allah. Those who trust and depend should only depend on Allah.”
Tafsir
Then he advised his sons as follows. My sons, do not enter the city through the same gate. He meant that his sons were flamboyant and conspicuous. Their clothes were beautiful and clean. On their first arrival, they had received honors and treats from the vizier that no one else had received. In this respect, people might have looked at them with attention and amazement, and they might have been envious and resentful. He advised them to enter through separate gates in order to prevent people from preparing a misfortune for them and causing them any trouble. In addition, if the Sultan showed favoritism to them, it might cause gossip among the people and the Sultan might be in a difficult situation. So he advised his sons to take this precaution to prevent any gossip about the Sultan, so that the Sultan would not be in a difficult situation.
(But I cannot ward off anything from you that will come from Allah. The judgment is for none but Allah). Nevertheless, Allah knows the unseen and no matter how much I show you the ways of precaution, you will surely fulfill your destiny. Neither I nor yourselves can prevent this destiny. Because what has happened has already happened, covenants have been made in the first eternity. The judgment after that belongs to Allah.
So I have put my trust in Allah alone, and let those who put their trust in Allah alone put their trust in Him. For He is the Owner of all His creation, and He is most compassionate and most merciful to His creatures. He is the most merciful of the merciful.
What is said in the video
Of Surah Yusuf, we have come to verse 67, I think.
Then they said — my sons, so said Jacob (peace be upon him), he says: my sons, do not all enter the city through one gate. The evil eye, the evil eye, the evil eye, the evil eye puts a man in the grave and an animal in the pot. Never fail to believe in the evil eye. The evil eye — there is also a prayer against it, with a verse. Had We not protected you, they would have toppled you with their eyes, it says. Yes, the evil eye destroys a home and ruins a family too. That is the evil eye. If a person does not hold fast to the verses, to the verses does not hold fast, he cannot easily find the truth.
So: my sons, do not all enter the city through one gate. Enter through separate gates. But I cannot avert from you anything that comes from Allah, he says. If a calamity is truly going to come to you, this too, he says, what comes from Allah I cannot avert from you. That is, if it is in your destiny, I too submit to it. Judgment belongs to none but Allah. Therefore, that is, the judgment of your destiny over you belongs to none but Allah. In Him alone I have put my trust, and let those who trust rely on Him alone. That is, those who trust — whoever knows Allah as Allah and trusts Him, he says — let them rely on Him, let them put their trust in Him.
Let them be content with what comes from Him. Yes. Then he advised his sons like this. My sons, do not enter the city through the same gate. His intent in saying this: his sons were impressive, eye-catching people. They dressed in fine, clean clothes. On their first visit they had received honour and hospitality from the vizier that no one else had. Therefore people, looking at them attentively and in amazement, might have grown envious and (?). Their entering again the same way, as a group, through the same gate — so that people would not prepare a calamity for them and nothing would befall them, to ensure this, he advised them to enter through separate gates, their father did.
Let's correct this part. Yes. Also, the king's showing them favour could lead to gossip among people, and the king too could have been put in a difficult position. So, so that no gossip would arise about the king and the king too would not be put in a difficult position, he advised his sons to take this precaution.
Let's correct this part too. from this he says there's one, he says, one, okay, one of them, correct that — corrected But anything that will come from Allah I cannot avert from you. Judgment belongs to none but Allah. So still, Allah knows the unseen, and however much the ways of precaution are shown to you, you will surely live the destiny that is upon you, he says. Yes.
This destiny being lived — neither I nor you yourselves can prevent destiny. Because what is done is done. (?) the covenants have been made. The judgment from now on belongs to Allah. Therefore I have (?) in Allah alone. And let those who trust put their trust in Allah alone. Let them rely on Him. Because He is the owner of all His creatures and towards His creatures very compassionate and very merciful. He is the most merciful of those who show mercy, he says. Yes.
