Tafsir
O my brothers! Now get up and go back to your fathers and tell him the truth. The truths here. They are the truths outside the games played within the wisdom of Allah. Otherwise, by calling Benjamin a thief, Benjamin is not a thief. But what they say is also a truth. Benjamin's brothers are not liars either. Since Allah is the Wise, it is a game played within the Wisdom of Allah. In this case, they are all truthful. They will realize that everyone is telling the truth when Allah brings them together. Allah's wisdom over people is in their favor. Even if it seems against them at first. Those who submit to Allah and are truthful will never be ashamed in the end.
O our father! Surely your son has stolen. We did not bear witness to anything other than what we knew: We have not deviated from the truth, we have consented to Allah's judgment upon us, in our destiny, and we do not know what will happen next. Because we are not the guardians of the unseen. Only Allah knows the unseen. Whether we will be right or wrong in the end, they say, Allah will show us in time.
What is said in the video
The 81st verse is next.
Their eldest brother says: go back to your father and say: O our father, indeed your son has stolen. We testify only to what we know. We are not guardians of the unseen. Say this to our father, he says. Their eldest brother says this. O my brothers, now get up, return to your father, tell him the truths. The truths here are the truths beyond the games played within Allah's wisdom. That is, the theft incident is in fact not a truth. They will tell the truth of a game being played. Otherwise, calling Benjamin a thief — Benjamin is not a thief. But what they say is also a truth. Benjamin's older brothers are not liars either.
Since Allah is All-Wise, it is a game played within Allah's wisdom. In this situation, all of them are telling the truth. That everyone was telling the truth, they will understand when Allah reunites them. Allah's wisdom over people is, again, in people's favor. Even if at first glance it seems to be against them, those who submit to Allah and are truthful in their words are never put to shame in the end.
O our father, indeed the boy has stolen. By saying "we testify only to what we know," we have not departed from truthfulness. We have accepted Allah's ruling over us within our destiny. What will happen after this, we cannot know. Because we are not guardians of the unseen. Only Allah knows the unseen. In the end, will we turn out to be right or wrong? Allah will show us this in time, they say.
