Yusuf 99: When they (all went to Egypt and) entered Joseph’s presence, he embraced his mother and father. He said, “enter Egypt in safety with Allah’s will.”

Translation

When they (all went to Egypt and) entered Joseph’s presence, he embraced his mother and father. He said, “enter Egypt in safety with Allah’s will.”

Tafsir

Hadrat Ya'qub 'alaihis-salâm gathered his family members and came to Egypt together. The king and his household and the people lined up on both sides of the roads to welcome them. When Hadrat Ya'qub 'alaihis-salâm' met Hadrat Yusuf in Egypt, Hadrat Ya'qub 'alaihis-salâm', Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm', the king and the people dismounted from their horses, and the two Prophets, Hadrat Ya'qub 'alaihis-salâm' and Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm', embraced each other and embraced each other. They said, "Enter Egypt with the permission of Allah, in safety. Entering Egypt means that Jacob and his sons will settle and stay in Egypt.

In safety. It means that Joseph 'alaihis-salâm' was populous, that is, he was the vizier of the king, and therefore their protection and care was assured.

They said: Enter Egypt in safety, by Allah's leave. 'Enter Egypt' means that Jacob (peace be upon him) and his sons would settle and stay in Egypt. Saying 'in safety' means that because Joseph (peace be upon him) was influential, that is, the king's vizier, their protection and care were assured.
