And you don’t ask them for reimbursement (for the duty of Prophethood). All the worlds do Dhikr exalting Allah, the One who is sufficient and ever alive by Own-Self.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) addressed the Prophet (s.a.w.) saying that while you are fulfilling your duty, that is, the duty of Prophethood and Prophethood to invite people to Allah and to introduce Allah (swt) to people, you are not asking for any remuneration for this duty. Every soul has already made a covenant with their Lord. The duty of the Prophet (SAW) was to announce Allah to the people. Allah (swt) says (We do not hold anyone responsible for what We do not make known). So if their covenant is to believe in Allah, they will respond to this invitation. If they have no faith in Allah and the Hereafter, they will not believe in you, nor in Allah, nor in the Hereafter.
The Qur'an is a guidance for the worlds and an admonition for people to find life. The meaning of the Qur'an is but an admonition is: All human beings have been set free in the realm of the unseen. They have been given freedom in their wills so that each soul can live its own will. Allah (swt) addressed mankind that He will not hold anyone to account for what He has not revealed: "He is the Creator of the worlds and there is no other God but Him, and He wants people to know their Lord by their own will, without any coercion or violence. In this respect, He sent the Holy Qur'an as an admonition and as a light and a proof before mankind. Moreover, Allah (swt), who created human beings mentally incomplete, does not leave them alone in this unseen world to which He has sent them, but gives them life with the verses of the Holy Qur'an. It teaches people.
The Qur'an! It is but an admonition for those who seek advice and find their way. Otherwise, if Allah had willed, He would have created us as a single nation, and we would have been programmed in what we were to do, and we would not have been able to deviate from Allah's will for us. At that time, people's wills and their own wills would have disappeared, and Allah's will would have ruled over people. Human beings would be free from the issues of good deeds and sins. They would be like other created beings and would not be equal to them. They could not live their own will by using their will.
The human being has been created very sublime and has been left free in his will. While people are living their own wills, Allah is introducing Himself to people and they should know that these worlds have been created by Allah and that people have been endowed with the ability to know Allah within their own will. In this case, people should follow the Qur'an, take advice, develop their abilities and do good deeds. This Qur'an has been sent as an admonition from the Lord, the Creator of the worlds, that people may do good.
What is said in the video
We continue with Surah Yusuf, with Surah Yusuf. In verse 104, not about Joseph but about the situation of the Prophet, that is, it begins to explain the verses to people, His verses. Yet for this, for fulfilling the duty of prophethood, you ask no wage from them; the Quran is but a reminder for the worlds. The Quran is a reminder for the worlds. Now, we said the verses always support one another, none of the verses contradicts another. Why is the Quran not a command but a reminder? Here: the universal will's covenant with the partial will; as a result of that covenant, people's wishes and desires becoming their destiny, in the address "Elestü bi Rabbiküm"; after their destinies, their being lifted to the barzakh; the soul whose time has come coming into the world, putting on the mount of the body and appearing outwardly; and so that man would not say, "Had You sent me to an unseen world, I would have worshipped You there and been among the believers", His creating these worlds and sending us into the world, and making Himself known to us in the world, this is a reminder. A reminder, because He gave man the partial will.
A reminder to all of us. A reminder to all people. So mercy is raining down. The verses of the Quran. We opened the cauldron, we are filling it. Hope: the verses of our Lord. Mercy is raining down. It shows us the way. It will bring us out of the darkness into light, (?). He sends proof before us.
Many have opened an umbrella and closed the cauldron so it takes nothing in. And buried it in darkness too. So the people in those darknesses, because they need light, are people who deceive themselves, their own nafs, saying "we are enlightened".
Yet for this, for fulfilling the duty of prophethood, you ask no wage from them. The Quran is but (?) for the worlds. So, within the partial will, the actual deeds each person has done are, within that person's own ruling, his own reward and sin. So where is Allah's willing upon this person here? Had Allah's willing been upon him, what would remain of this reminder?
With such beautiful verses of the Quran we try to explain to you the good, the right, the truth, to explain we try. But those affected by them, affected by what? Those affected by the truth of the verses we have explained, this, believe me, we hear from many places. "We are finished", they say.
So they had been bound by these superstitions. "We are finished", they say, because everything they knew has been turned upside down. Well of course, if you are finished, return to the truth. Look how beautiful: in the story, in the story of Joseph, after the evils done, their bowing their heads, knowing the truth, becoming repentant. So, if it is right, if you have seen that you are finished, return to the truth.
Educate yourself on three things. One: Allah Almighty's covenant with people. Know this. Two: that the partial will is in you, that upon me there is no willing of my Lord over the actual deeds I will do;
with the phrase "there is not a single living being to come until the Day of Judgment whose deeds We would not know", Allah Almighty as unaware of the future, with the phrase (?), one should not accuse. Accordingly, form the rule, form the rule and its ruling, try to turn what you know toward it. Try to turn falsehoods and superstitions toward it. So that superstitions and falsehoods are removed, so that you are saved from attributing qualities to Allah, so that you refrain from slandering Allah and His Messenger.
Yet for this, for fulfilling the duty of prophethood, you ask no wage from them. The Quran is but a reminder for the worlds, it says. Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty, addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him). For this duty of yours, that is, for your prophethood, and while fulfilling the duty of prophethood, which is to invite people to Allah and to make Allah Almighty known to people, you ask no wage for this duty of yours.
Every nafs has already made a covenant with its Lord. The duty of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is to make Allah known to people. Allah Almighty says: We hold no one responsible from a generation We have not informed. So if believing in Allah is in their covenant, they will answer this call. That is, when mercy comes in the call, they will open their arms, that mercy they will press to their chest. They will say (?) and surrender.
If they have no belief, no faith in Allah and the Hereafter, then they will believe neither in you nor in Allah nor in the Hereafter. The Quran is a guidance to the worlds and a reminder for people to find life. The meaning of "the Quran is but a reminder": all people, in the unseen world, were left free. So that every nafs could live its own wish, they were given freedom in their will. Since He will not call to account anyone from a generation that has not heard, Allah Almighty, addressing people, by making known that He is the Creator of the worlds and that there is no other god but Him, wanted people to know their Lord of their own will, without any pressure or force being used.
For this reason He sent the Noble Quran as a reminder and as a light and a proof before people. Moreover, Allah Almighty, who created people deficient in reason, does not leave people alone in this unseen world He sent them to; before them, with the verses of the Noble Quran, He gives life.
People: Allah Almighty, with these verses of His, teaches people. The Quran is a reminder only for those who want to take advice and find their way. Otherwise, had Allah willed, He would have created us as one community, programmed us for the work we would do, and in the end we could not go beyond Allah's will over us. Then people's wishes and their own will would vanish, and Allah's will would rule over people. People would be freed from matters of reward and sin. They would be like the other created beings and would not reach the rank of the noblest of creation. They could not live their own wishes by using their will.
So man was created very (?), and left free in his will. While people live their own wishes, Allah makes Himself known to people; that these worlds were created by Allah and that people, within their own will, have been equipped with the ability to know Allah, they must know. In that case they should follow the Quran, take advice, people should develop their abilities and do good deeds. So the Quran, for people to do good deeds, by the Lord who created the worlds was sent as a reminder.
