Translation

Did they see themselves in safety against an encompassing calamity coming from Allah’s side, or against the Day of Judgment to come upon them while they do not expect it?

Tafsir

Do people who do not believe in Allah and the Hereafter, or who believe in other gods besides the one and only Allah, feel sure that a calamity will befall them, from which there will be no escape and which will lead to their destruction, so that they rebel against Allah and disobey His commands? Or do they have a proof against the coming of the Day of Resurrection that they have forgotten Allah while living the life of this world in health and well-being and pretending that they will never die?

Resurrection has two meanings. The first is the general apocalypse, which means that the order of the heavens and the earth is disturbed, the heavens and the earth are disintegrated, and not a single living creature can find life. The second meaning is that the death of human beings is a doomsday for them. It is the second meaning that is pointed out here. Verse 109 does not mean a great doomsday as it is understood in the verse. It refers to a mass calamity or death that befalls a town.

This is a declaration of the disastrous fate of people who do not know when their lives will end, who live as if they will never die, forgetting Allah and disobeying His commands, and who live their lives unaware of the Judgment that will befall them at the end of their lives, and who do not believe that they will be subjected to real torment at the end of their lives, without thinking about their fate.

What is said in the video

Against an overwhelming disaster coming from Allah, or the Hour striking suddenly without their noticing, did they consider themselves secure? That is, what did you rely on? Do you have in hand a proof that you will live a moment later? Do you have a proof that you will live a moment later? No, that is not there either. So, against an overwhelming (?) coming from Allah Almighty, or the Hour striking suddenly without their noticing, did they consider themselves secure? That is, where will you go, what power will hide you and defend you against these miracles of Allah, against His calamities? Those who do not believe in Allah and the Hereafter, or who, besides the one Allah, believe in other gods too,

were they sure that upon the heads of those believing people an all-encompassing disaster, that is, one with no escape from it ever again and causing their destruction, would not come? By rebelling against Allah they came to no longer listen to His commands. Or do they have a proof in hand against the Hour striking, so that, while living the life of this world, living in health and well-being as if they would never die, acting so, they forgot Allah?

Kıyamet, the Hour, has two meanings. First, the general Hour, which means the order of the heavens and the earth breaking down and colliding, every part scattering, and not a single living being finding life. The second meaning is also a meaning. Yes.

As for the second meaning, a person's death is an Hour for him. The meaning pointed to here is the second meaning. The second meaning.

Yes.

As can be understood from verse 109 too, it is not in the sense of the great Hour. It refers to a collective disaster coming to a town, or the event of death befalling one. So, people who have no knowledge of when their lives will end living as if they would never die, forgetting Allah, going outside His commands, carrying on their lives unaware of the Hour that will befall them in the end, and that people who, without thinking of their end, do not believe that in the end they will meet real punishment, will meet a terrible end, Allah Almighty declares to us. Yes.
