Allah is the One Who has made the night a cover, the sleep a rest and the day (a time of) standing up and work for you.
Tafsir
When Allah (swt) created the universe, He created everything with order and regularity. Nothing in the universe was created by chance.
Allah, who made people to live on the earth by eating and drinking, knew that people would be tired from their work, so He created night and day for them to rest. Allah creates everything for a reason. He did not create the world by coincidence. He created sleep so that people could sleep off their tiredness after working during the day, and He created night so that the sunlight would not disturb them and they could sleep soundly. He created day and night by rotating the earth around its axis. We see that the universe has been created in a state of order and regularity. Whatever has been created, from mote to sphere, has been created in such a way that the needs of human beings and their creatures can be met. These created worlds were created in order and harmony, as a sign of Allah's wahdat al-wahdat and unity.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Furqan, verse 47. Allah Almighty says: It is He who made the night a covering for you, sleep a rest, and the day a time to disperse and work, it says. Now what does Allah Almighty mean for us here? These points are important; that is, we know night and day, but (?) this rightly says.
When He created man, He knows what he needs. This is the essence.
Will he sleep 24 hours? Will he go about awake for 24 hours? How many hours of rest does he need? How many hours can this body endure work? In how much time does this body recover through sleep? Allah Almighty knows this. He created these worlds accordingly. That is, with the sun and moon system He brought about on the earth night and day. With the coming about of night and day, the human body working and getting tired by day, and gaining reward and sin through the deeds he does with his will, accordingly, that is, within his earnings. Well, in this case, the time for eating and drinking, the time for rest and the time for sleep, Allah Almighty arranged this world this way according to this body.
What does technology say today? For the human body, 8 hours of work, 8 hours of rest and 8 hours of sleep. Isn't that so? Well, in this case, however much this has been (?), between these people's state of old age and their young, dynamic state a difference is brought about. Yes, when creating the universe, Allah Almighty created everything within order and regularity. Nothing in the universe was created by chance.
Allah, who sustains people on earth through eating and drinking, as these people in the world earn their living, knowing that people get tired, will get tired by working, created night and day for them to rest. Allah creates everything by tying it to a cause. He did not create the world by chance either. So that people, when they work by day, may relieve their tiredness with sleep, He created sleep. So that while sleeping the sunlight does not disturb them and they sleep soundly, He created the night. In the heat of the day you can hardly sleep. You look for a cool, dark, dim place. So Allah Almighty presses sleep upon people at night, in the darkness, so that in this way they rest their tiredness.
What is this like? Take a car. You keep driving with your foot on the gas. What does the car do? It overheats. It needs to rest. After resting a while, you can set off again. So the human body too is a mechanism, a machine. It too needs rest. Yes. The coming about of night and day He brought about by turning the earth around its own axis. We see that the universe was created within order and regularity. Whatever was created, from the atom to the globe, was created so that the needs of people and of His creatures can be met. These created worlds, within order and regularity, were created as an indication of Allah's oneness and unity.
In a verse, Allah Almighty also says: before your eyes every day hundreds of miracles appear; you are blind, you do not see. The creation of this world too is a miracle, for us, a miracle. Human power, human intellect or technology can never reach this order; Allah Almighty, by creating the human body and knowing what it needs, creating it, this universe, the sun, the moon and the system, turning them around their own axes, bringing the seasons, summer, well, spring, autumn, winter, and at the same time bringing about night and day, bringing about the seasons.
Outward events that truly appear before our eyes, but none of us notice this and reflect on what it is, how it is, why it was created; we do not reflect on it and think about it. Yes.
