Thus, do not obey them (infidels) and fight them with this (Qur’an) with great ambition.
Tafsir
So, if the world realm is the result of a covenant that man made with Allah (swt) in the past, and if the covenant made there is the place in the world where he holds himself as a witness against his covenant, then Allah (swt) is addressing His Messenger; O Habibim! By saying, "Do not bow down to the infidel", he is actually addressing all Muslims and declaring that they should not bow down to the infidels.
He also said to the Prophet (PBUH), "wage a jihad or struggle with the Qur'an against the disbelievers with all your might". Jihad here has two meanings. In the first sense, tell people about the Holy Qur'an in a way that gives life to them, introduce the Verses of Allah and do not hold back from telling about Allah.
In the second sense, he says to fight with all your might against those who attempt to extinguish the light of Allah by disbelief.
Allah gives life to people through the verses of the Qur'an. He brings people out of darkness into light. Kufr, on the other hand, drowns the light of Allah in darkness and leads the earth into a swamp, misguided paths and mischief. So that people do not suffer in this darkness, in this fitnah and oppression, Allah reveals His Verses that will give life to people.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 52. So do not submit to the unbelievers. How beautifully He says it. Do not submit to the unbelievers. Does Allah Almighty not know, until the end, until the Last Day, or in our time, very powerful states will arise. Perhaps one will wipe out whatever it wants in an instant. Well, it will possess weapons. Does He not know? He knows. Well then, in this case, when He tells the Muslim, the weak one, do not submit, is He sending him to suicide? These points are very important.
The feelings He has given them,
the fears, and with their hearts being scattered and restless, these people, constantly seeking a place of refuge, facing the strong who do not fear death, facing people who advance as if thirsting for the rank of martyrdom, cannot possibly hold their ground.
Yes. We see it today.
Our soldiers are writing an epic. They truly are writing an epic. Today in the world, against terror or against an enemy, is it one soldier to ten, seventeen, six people, or to three people? One soldier. One terrorist to three people. With us, ten people to one terrorist. Ten terrorists to one soldier. If one soldier of ours dies, ten terrorists go from over there. And with non-Muslims, if one terrorist is killed, if three terrorists are killed, one of their own goes. Three to one. Three to one. Do you know what this shows?
This verse says: if there were ten of you, ten of you, they would equal a hundred people. Look, it was equal to three people. Then, if there were one of you, it says, it was equal to three people, it says. Yes. In this case, not of their power; if there is anyone to be feared, says Allah Almighty, if there is anyone most to be feared, it is Me, He says. If there is anyone most to be loved, that too is Me, He says. Now in this case, we are only guests in this world anyway. Three days earlier, three days later; for a person who knows Allah, the (?) of the worldly realm is not important. Hodja, maybe it is not important to you, but it is important to us.
When one says that, it comes from weakness of faith. A person must check his own faith. He must consult his conscience. Today so many people's fathers die, don't they? So many women, those children, are left hungry and thirsty out in the open. And then you see that those children have become worth trillions. Don't we see it? It happens. So if I think of my child, or of my wealth and property, saying let me in this world a bit more enjoy pleasure, you fall exactly into the state of the non-Muslim. We are guests anyway. Rather than being a slave to the non-Muslim, rather than submitting to him, like a scorpion you keep your tail upright, keep it upright, and in the end you attain your Lord's mercy.
Yes. So then, do not submit to the unbelievers. And with this, with the Quran, strive against them with all your might in a jihad He says. How beautifully He says, with the Quran. With all your might. So if the world is the place where, as the result of a covenant man made earlier with Allah Almighty, the pledge given there is held in the world as witness against him regarding his pledge, then, by Allah Almighty saying to His Beloved: O My Beloved, do not submit to the unbeliever, He is in fact addressing all Muslims and making known that unbelievers are not to be submitted to. Yes.
Now, before the eyes of all of you, I will show you events that are emerging. I will show you the event. It is emerging before the eyes of all of you. Turkey is in need of 5 cents. Is that so? Whoever took over Turkey would be taking over a spider's web. It was impossible for him to save it. But a person of faith founds a party, and that person of faith comes to the head, he applies only Islam, stands before Allah in standing, bowing and prostration, and proves this to the world in this way and applies it, then Allah is with him too, and Turkey reaches its present state. It becomes a power. Not long; a few years from now it will become a superpower.
(?) Whoever is with Allah is never left alone. How beautifully the counterpart of the verse is in fact emerging today. Yes. But if you ask people with ulterior motives, whose eyes are covered only by worldly greed, who come there with greed for rank and office and are used to using the world like a farm, this land like a farm, along with the greed of these people, their eyes (?) covered; so people whose eyes are blind, ears deaf, hearts sealed so that they cannot see around them are still trying to run their horses in this country. Yes.
So then, do not submit to the unbelievers, and with this, with the Quran, strive against them with all your might in a jihad, a struggle, He says. So if the world is the place where, as the result of a covenant man made earlier with Allah Almighty, the pledge given there is held in the world as witness against him regarding his pledge, then, by Allah Almighty saying to His Beloved: O My Beloved, do not submit to the unbeliever, He is in fact addressing all Muslims and making known that unbelievers are not to be submitted to.
now something like this comes to my mind: today, I won't say roughly, but the 3rd World War has effectively begun right now; they are moving the pawns around; in this situation, those who emigrate from their countries: come to the Islamic state, take refuge in Islam; as you have taken refuge in Turkey, let your Muslim brothers hold you to their breast. Just as the Ansar did the emigrants from Mecca to Medina, from the Hijaz, may they embrace you. But if you set out trying to go to the land of the unbelievers, trying to cross the sea, you die there and are gone, and you become their slave and submit to them. And they use you like a servant, like a dog.
This does not befit a Muslim.
Even if I came to the point of dying of hunger, look, I say this seriously, even if I came to the point of dying of hunger, if I could find nothing to eat or drink, and some non-Muslim said: come, I'll give you a hundred thousand lira a day. A hundred thousand lira. Or I'll give you a trillion, I'll bestow a treasure on you, here, sit there, sit here under my command. By Allah I would not sit, by Allah I would not sit; Allah (?) my heart.
I would enter under no command but Islam's, even if I were in need.
At one time I finished in the military, I retired, I submitted an application. Saudi Arabia was calling me. I submitted an application to the job placement group. Going to Saudi Arabia, you see. They had called me there because I was a helicopter technician.
I submitted an application to the job placement group. They said to me exactly this. We won't send you there. Exactly. You can't go there. But right now, the Netherlands, Germany, England, wherever you want, we'll send you, they said. May Allah's peace be upon you, I said. Well, goodbye. It's over, he said.
Bursa Airlines asked for me.
In the states of the world (?), you got licences. (?). We are going to Kayseri for an exam. The people in Kayseri whom we trained don't ask questions. And I don't recognize them. Hey, why aren't you asking, I said. Well, Hodja, didn't you recognize us, he said. No. Well, you taught us, he said. Ask yourself, answer yourself. So we can learn too, they said. Well now. All the hard questions there were, (?) asked them and answered them. So they would learn. I came back from there; I was going to join Bursa Airlines. There was our pilot commander.
Well, Bayram Yılmaz. He said, shave off your beard and come, he said.
I said, even if you gave me a trillion, I would not shave this beard, I said. Hey, what are you saying, he said, we'll be getting eighteen thousand lira a month, he said. And I was then getting seven thousand five hundred lira every three months. Seven thousand five hundred lira every three months. Eighteen thousand five hundred a month, we'll be getting nineteen hundred thousand lira's worth. Besides, when we go to Europe, we'll also get a bonus. What are you saying, he said. Farewell from me, I said. Whether you accept the beard or not, I'm leaving, I said. Hey, this is not in the regulations here, he said.
What you say is not in my regulations either, I said. May Allah grant you well-being. I came home. My wife said, what happened? I said, it didn't work out. Why? He said, if you'd shave the beard, come, he said. And I said, I'm not shaving it. My wife said to her children, don't you dare (?) his beard, she said. Whoever cuts off his beard, she said, I'll cut off his head, she said. My wife, may Allah have mercy on her. Hey wife, I said, if you don't want the beard, I hope all is well, now (?), I said. Hey, this beard, she said, eats up eighteen thousand five thousand lira every month, she said.
Yes. If there is such faith, you rise like this. Such faith is needed. Allah spreads the world beneath your feet.
O world, submit to the one who advances on My path, He says. The one who leaves My path, make him work for you and wear him out, He says. Look, today the non-Muslims have left Allah's path. Not this world; even if you gave them a hundred worlds' worth, fearing it would still be spent and run out, they keep scrimping and scrimping. They don't know what being full is. They are the porters of the world. Well, Hodja, shall we not work then? It's not like that. You will work. You will work as if you will never die. But you will also continue your worship as if you will die at once. With truth, from justice. With Allah's verses.
By saying O My Beloved, do not submit to the unbeliever, He is in fact addressing all Muslims and making known that unbelievers are not to be submitted to. Also, again to the Prophet (peace be upon him): with all your might be in jihad and struggle against the unbelievers with the Quran. The jihad here has two meanings. In the first meaning: tell people with the Holy Quran in a life-giving way. Make Allah's verses known and do not hold back from telling about Allah. In the second meaning: against those who venture, through unbelief, to extinguish Allah's light and make the attempt, strive in jihad with all your might, He commands.
Allah gives life to people with the verses of the Quran. He brings people out of the darknesses into light. Unbelief, however, drowns Allah's light in darkness. It leads the earth into a swamp, onto deviant paths and into discord. So that people do not suffer misery in discord and oppression within these darknesses, Allah makes known to people His verses that will give life.
