(Oh My Messenger!) We have sent you only as a giver of glad tidings and as a warner.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) sent all the Prophets to guide people and invite them to Himself. Allah (swt) gathered in the Holy Qur'an the Torah, the Psalms and the Injeel, the Books that He had sent before, and sent the Prophet (s.a.w.) with the Qur'an to invite people to guidance and to frighten those who believe and have faith with Paradise and those who rebel against Allah and deny Allah, His Prophets and the Books with Hell, the place of torment.
No human being is capable of changing the destiny of any human being. However, the Prophets are the messengers of the command of Allah (swt) to the people. Man will live according to his covenant and will not be able to do anything outside of his covenant and destiny. In this respect, the Prophet (s.a.w.) was sent as a bearer of glad tidings of Paradise and a warner of Hell. No human being will ever be able to say to Allah (swt) that you sent me to a realm of the unseen and did not warn me with a Prophet or a book that would make me aware of Allah (swt). Allah sends His Prophets and His Books to remove the questions that people will ask. By making the questions to be asked arise, no human being will be able to ask Allah (swt) questions and queries with Allah's attribute of Godhood.

Surah Al-Furqan, verse 56: My Messenger, We have sent you only as a bearer of good news and a warner.
Allah Almighty sent all the prophets to guide people and to invite them to Himself. Gathering the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel, of the books Allah Almighty sent before, in the Holy Quran, He sent, together with the Quran, the Prophet (peace be upon him) to invite people to guidance, those of mankind who believe and have faith with paradise, and those who rebel against Allah, who deny Allah, His prophets and His books, with hell, the place of punishment, as a warner He sent.
Yes. No person is able to change any person's destiny. The prophets only convey Allah Almighty's command to people. Whatever a person's covenant is, he will live that, and stepping outside his covenant he will be able to do nothing outside his destiny. For this reason, the Prophet (peace be upon him) too was sent as one giving people good news of paradise and warning them of hell. No person will be able to say to Allah Almighty: You sent me into an unseen world, and so that I would know You You did not warn me through a prophet or a book. So Allah sends His prophets and His books so that the questions people would ask are removed.
By bringing forth the questions to be asked, by Allah's attribute of Godhood, no person will be able to put any question to Allah Almighty.
