Ar-Ra'd 17: Allah has sent down water from the sky, and valleys become floods and flowed by their own capacity. This flood has taken the foam that had risen. There is also foam similar to this that comes out of the things that they melt to craft jewelry or other goods. This is an example that Allah gives for the truth and the wrong. Foam is thrown away and disappears. But the thing that benefits people, that remains on earth. These are the examples of Allah.

Allah has sent down water from the sky, and valleys become floods and flowed by their own capacity.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) gives a good example of the separation of truth and falsehood. Allah sent down water from the sky, i.e. He sent down rains, and these rains flooded the valleys in their own volumes, and this flood carried away a foam that rose to the top. This means that Allah created water as a cleanser. Allah (swt) declares that He has sent His Verses as a life-giver to mankind and that as long as people are governed by these Verses, they will be cleansed from falsehood and dirt and will become a worthy person.
The floods flowing through the valleys and the worthless objects and filth in the valleys are likened to foam on a flood. No one will value this filth, so it will disappear.
(What they melt in the fire to make ornaments or (other) objects will produce a similar foam. This is how Allah gives an example between truth and falsehood). He also gives a good example to those who are judged by the Verses of Allah (swt). Because human beings are created incomplete and faulty, and because they cannot perfect their nafs, there are evils in the human nafs. People who want to perfect their nafs, when they want to get closer to Allah, continue their worship and devotion, feeling love for Allah. They do not fall behind in their Zikr, they see the evils in their nafs, they fight against them, and they burn away the evils in their nafs with the fire of love. Such people will be saved from evil.
The essence of Allah (swt) in the human being is that the human being becomes acquainted with the light of Islam through the declaration of the Word of Shahada. Then, for a human being to become a perfect human being, he must be governed by the Verses of Allah. With his love and affection for Allah (swt), man burns the evils in his nafs with this fire. By getting rid of the evils in his nafs, he reveals the substance of the light of faith. In this case, a person becomes a human being. Such people are the believers whom Allah loves.
Allah distinguishes between truth and falsehood by giving such examples. He invites people to guidance and salvation. The foam is thrown away, and as for what will benefit people, it remains on the earth. The meaning here is that falsehood is doomed to disappear with the verse (Allah will complete His light until the Day of Resurrection) as well as the verse (Allah will complete His light until the Day of Resurrection). The truth will continue to give life to people on this earth and shed light in front of people as long as the world continues.
By bringing such examples of truth and falsehood, Allah expects people to use their intellect and turn to Him. For Allah is the Most High, the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving. He shows all kinds of paths to people through examples and by addressing them in a way that their minds can understand.
After that, man will not be able to blame Allah (swt) by taking the responsibility on his own soul.
What is said in the video
He sent down water from the sky and the valleys, each according to its capacity, flowed as torrents. Verse 17: He sent down water from the sky and the valleys, each according to its capacity, flowed as torrents. This torrent bore away a foam that rose to the top.
From what they melt in fire, wanting to make ornaments or other goods, there is likewise foam like it.
Do you know what comes to my mind when I read this verse? Vettin Muhtar presents this verse to us as proof that the Sirat bridge exists. Think of their ignorance. Think of how unaware they are of the verses.
In this verse, while Allah Almighty explains the state of the non-Muslim and the Muslims, what has it to do with the Sirat bridge?
Yes. That's why I'm laughing like this. I'm reading this. Then we answer him anyway. And still there is talk of the Sirat bridge existing.
I can't keep myself from mentioning his name. (?)
Despite being in religious affairs this long, despite dealing so much with religious matters, in which verse, in which hadith does he know the Sirat bridge exists, and according to which verse does he explain that the Sirat bridge exists?
May Allah grant them too a good mind, a good understanding. Because people believe them. Well, of course they'll believe. Because the Muslim, the person of faith, will believe his hodja. How would he know the hodja is loaded with superstition? How would he know that the hodja argues with superstition outside the verse? How would he know?
If they prove the Sirat bridge to me — in that case, I — until now, until now, acting against my word no one has ever seen me — I will hand my head over to him. I will hand my head over to that person. I never go back on my word.
Nor do I shrink from giving my life on the path of truth. But I won't hand my head over to these superstitions.
Because Allah's verses are clear.
Yes.
We read the verse from the beginning. He sent down water from the sky, and the valleys, each according to its capacity, flowed as torrents. This torrent bore away a foam that rose to the top. From things melted in fire, wanting to make ornaments or other goods, there is similar foam. Thus Allah gives the example of truth and falsehood, it says. What has this to do with the Sirat bridge? Can you imagine these people's ignorance? Can you imagine how unaware these people are of the verses? Saying one or two Arabic words and pinning unrelated words on them. Because poor Muslims don't know Arabic, if a man asks about spinach, he explains leeks. If he asks about leeks, he explains lentils.
In this case he exploits people's consciences.
Yes.
As for what benefits people, it remains on the earth. Thus Allah brings examples. Things that will benefit people remain on the earth. Truth, always above falsehood, resembling that torrent — guiding people wherever it passes, giving life to vegetation — to such a state does Allah Almighty liken it. The foam, it says, is wiped off from on top of it and vanishes, it says. It is of no use. Thus truth and falsehood separate from each other.
Allah Almighty gives a beautiful example of the separation of truth and falsehood. Allah sent down water from the sky. That is, He made the rains fall. These rains flowed in the valleys as torrents according to their capacity. This torrent bore away a foam that rose to the top. Truth has come, falsehood has vanished. Yes. The meaning here: Allah created water as a purifier. Allah Almighty declares that He has sent His verses to people as life-giving, and that as long as people are governed by these verses, cleansed of falsehood and filth, they will become a valuable person. The filth here is not the dust on you.
It is being cleansed of the filth of the sins in your nafs. To those who say "cleansed of filth, he will enter that spotless paradise", those fools, those superstitions invented a lake at the gate of paradise, deceiving people there and saying "you have come spotless" — in this way those who exploit ignorant people, who deceive, who are unaware of, ignorant of the verses. When you come here spotless, you have been purified of the burden of sin. In a way that fulfills Allah's command, in a way that will shine with our Lord's light, you have come here.
Where did you get this — you created a lake at the gate of paradise, took off your clothes there, washed, so he goes in spotless, is that it? Then let everyone take off their clothes there, wash spotless, dress and go in. Can there be such a superstition, really? What kind of Muslim is this? What kind of hodja is this? What kind of Arabic does he know? How does he open up the verse like this? From the valleys the torrents flowing — the worthless objects and filth found in the valleys are likened to the foam on top of a torrent. Since no one will value this filth, it vanishes and goes. From the things they melt, melting in fire, wanting to make ornaments or other goods, there is similar foam. Indeed, you melt a metal; on top of that metal foam forms; they take it off, and they cast the essence of that metal and bring it into being.
Thus Allah gives an example for truth and falsehood. He also gives a beautiful example for those governed by Allah Almighty's verses. Since people are created deficient and erring, and since man cannot bring his nafs to perfection, there are evils in man's nafs. People who want to bring their nafs to perfection, when they want to draw near to Allah, feel love and affection for Allah and continue in worship and obedience. He does not slack in His remembrance, sees the evils in his nafs, with them enters into struggle, burns the evils in his own nafs with the fire of love, and they cast them off.
Such people are thus saved from evils.
Allah Almighty's jewel in man is man, by uttering the testimony of faith, being honored with the light of Islam. Then man's becoming a perfect human comes about by being governed by Allah's verses. By feeling love and affection for Allah Almighty, man burns the evils in his nafs with this fire. Freed from the evils in his nafs, the jewel of the light of faith he brings forth. In this case man becomes a perfect human. Such people are the believing people Allah loves.
How beautifully we open up the spiritual meaning of the foam here, explain it. Thus Allah separates truth and falsehood by giving such examples. He invites people to guidance and salvation. The foam is cast off and goes; as for what will benefit people, it remains in the earth. The meaning from this too: falsehood is doomed to perish. Along with the verse "Truth has come, falsehood has vanished", Allah will complete His light until the Day of Judgment — by this verse falsehood is doomed to perish. The truth, however, as long as the world stands, will continue on the earth to give life to people and to hold a light before them.
They, it says, with the puffs of their mouths would put out Allah's light — did they suppose so? Allah will complete His light until the Day of Judgment, it says. Thus Allah, bringing such examples for truth and falsehood, awaits people's using their reason and returning to Him. Because Allah is most exalted, most compassionate and forgiving. Every way, with examples and addressing them in a way their minds will understand, He shows people.
From here on, the responsibility is laid on man's nafs, and he will be unable to blame Allah Almighty. What happens from now on is in man's own nafs. Now, after this much has been explained — the partial will being in man, his having what he willed from Allah Almighty written for him as his destiny, those people, within their destiny, doing things with actual deeds, doing what they did with actual deeds, and after reward and sin have been laid out, no one will be able to blame Allah Almighty. Yes.
