Tafsir
People who believe in Allah and the Hereafter. Is a person who reveres the Qur'an, which Allah (swt) sent as the truth, by calling it the word of Allah (swt), who does not deny a single letter or a single point written in it, the same as a person who is ignorant of his own creation, who follows the desires of his own ego, who runs after it, who does not recognize the law and right, who does not recognize halal and haram, who is inclined towards Allah's creatures, who forgets Allah (swt)?
That is a human being! People who know that they were created, who are thankful for the blessings and sustenance that their Lord has given them, in times of scarcity and abundance, and who do what their Lord tells them to do in all circumstances, while doing their duty of servitude to their Creator.
These are the people in whose hearts Allah has placed the light of Allah by gaining His pleasure. Their perception is clear and their hearts are full of peace. These are the people who look after and protect the interests of others as well as their own. These people know that the world is a place of stay for a short time, with its temporary blessings. At the end of their lives, they are the people who sense their destination and see the verses of Allah and the truth all around them. Will these people ever be like those who are asleep, as if they are asleep, unaware of themselves, unaware of the thousands of miracles around them, dead, blind and deaf?
Only the people of intellect understand these things; Allah (swt) in His address (Elestu bi Rabbikum), referring to the Kalu Bela (Kalu Bela), says that people who use their intellect, who make a good covenant with Allah, and who write their destiny in obedience to Allah, understand. These people do not compromise on what Allah has revealed to mankind. They seek Allah's pleasure through obedience to Allah and His Messenger.
What is said in the video
Is the one who knows that what your Lord has sent down to you is the truth like the blind one who denies? it asks. How beautifully it says this. But only people of reason grasp this, it says. Who are these people of reason? The believers.
People who believe in Allah and the hereafter; a person who reveres the Holy Quran that Allah Almighty sent as the truth, calling it Allah's word, who does not deny even a single letter or dot written in it, and a person unaware of his own creation, subservient to the desires of his own nafs, running after them, recognizing no right or law, heeding no halal or haram, inclining to Allah's creatures, forgetting Allah: can they be one? Is this possible?
The human being is one who knows he was created, who, while doing his duty of servanthood to his Creator, is grateful for the blessings and provision his Lord gave him, in hardship and in plenty, who in every situation carries out what his Lord says; such are these people.
These are people who earn Allah's pleasure and in whose hearts Allah has placed His light. Their perception is open, their hearts are full of peace. These are people who, besides their own interests, look after and protect the interests of others as well. These people know that the world, besides its fleeting blessings, is for a short time a place to stay. They are people who sense where they will go at the end of their lives and who see their surroundings, with Allah's verses, as the truth. Can these people ever be like those unaware of themselves, wandering in sleep, like sleepwalkers, unaware of the thousands of miracles around them, living (?) as dead people?
Can they be alike?
With His verse saying "only people of reason grasp these, only people of reason grasp these," Allah Almighty, referring to Kalu Bela, means: those who used their reason at the address "Elestü bi Rabbiküm", who gave Allah a good covenant, who had their destiny written as obedient to Allah, they understand. These people make no concessions on what Allah has made known to people. Through obedience to Allah and His Messenger they seek to earn Allah's pleasure.
