Tafsir
People who believe in Allah and the Hereafter try to gain Allah's pleasure by purifying themselves from the evil in their own souls and by reforming their souls. They are patient in the face of calamities, they realize that Allah, the owner of the worlds, sees them and they do not rebel in their situation in order to gain the pleasure of their Lord. They know that our Lord will not put on people a burden that they cannot bear, and then they say, "O my Lord! You are the One who knows and sees my situation, and You will not put on my back a burden that I cannot bear. Give me good patience and do not lead me astray from the right path. They pray, "Include me among the righteous.
(Such people do not pray for the sake of showing off to other people or for gain. Nor do they pray out of habit. They pray as if they are in the presence of Allah (swt) because they believe in Allah (swt) and the Hereafter. By contemplating Allah in the moment of prayer, they leave behind the life of this world. They pray only in submission to their Lord, leaving nothing between themselves and Allah. The prayer of such people is a true prayer.
(They are the ones who spend out of what We have provided them, secretly and openly (in the way of Allah) and repel evil with good.) These people give to the needy out of what Allah has provided for them. They spend openly and secretly in the way of Allah. They do their charity in secret so that people will not be offended among other people. The overt charity is not for the sake of showing off to people and for the sake of selfish desires, but to encourage people to help and spend in the way of Allah. Actions depend on intentions.
At the same time, they are patient with people's evil deeds. They show that their evil deeds are harmful to them. Not by whipping up people's egoistic feelings, but by talking about Allah's mercy on people, and in this way they ward off the evil that a person would do with goodness.
(Those only are they for whom is the (good) end of the worldly abode). Every soul will taste death. The people who work in the life of this world to earn Allah's pleasure, the people whose qualities are listed above and who establish good relations with people in the life of this world for the sake of Allah, for the sake of Allah, who endear themselves to people, and who are remembered with good and charitable prayers, these are the people for whom Allah greets with a smiling face at the best end of the life of this world, that is, at the time of their death and transfer to the Hereafter, and for whom the heavens of Adn are a great reward.
What is said in the video
And they are those who are patient seeking their Lord's pleasure, who establish the prayer properly, who spend in Allah's way, secretly and openly, from the provision We gave them, and who repel evil with good. Those, indeed: the good end of the worldly abode is theirs alone, it says. These are them. Ve's-sâbikûne's-sâbikûn, ülâike'l-mukarrabûn, fî cennâti 'n-naîm, the people He speaks of, the foremost people. People who believe in Allah and the hereafter, from the evils in their own nafs purifying themselves, strive to earn Allah's pleasure by reforming the nafs. They are patient in the face of calamities.
Themselves, their worlds, themselves, their worlds, who own, that Allah sees.
We've written something incompletely here. Let's see, what is it? Let's fix that part. Yes?
To earn their Lord's permission, pleasure, they do not rebel in the situation they are in. Yes. They are patient.
Yes. (?) we too (?) this part. They are patient in the face of calamities; that Allah, the Owner of the worlds, sees them. Yes. That Allah, the Owner of the worlds, sees them, and to earn their Lord's pleasure, they do not rebel in the situation they are in. They know our Lord will not load onto people's backs a burden they cannot bear, and then: "O my Lord, You are the One who knows and sees my state. You do not load onto my back a burden I cannot bear. Give me a beautiful patience, and in the middle of the right path do not let me stray. Include me among the righteous," they pray. They perform the prayer properly.
Such people do not pray as a show for other people or for some benefit. Nor do they pray out of habit. Only because they believe with certainty in Allah and the abode of the hereafter, they pray as if before Allah Almighty. The things called the middle prayer. These.
During prayer, reflecting on Allah, they leave all of worldly life behind them. Leaving nothing between Allah and themselves, they surrender only themselves to their Lord and pray. So such people: the prayers these people perform are a proper prayer.
We continue. They are those who spend in Allah's way, secretly and openly, from the provision We gave them, and who repel evil with good. These people give to those in need from the provision Allah gave them. In Allah's way they engage in (?) openly and secretly. So that people are not hurt among others, they give their help in secret. Help given openly, however, is not as a show to people or a whim of the nafs, but is help given to encourage people to help and to spend in Allah's way. Deeds depend on intentions. At the same time they are patient with people's evils. They show them that the evil deeds they do are harmful to themselves.
Not by whipping up people's carnal feelings, but by speaking of Allah's mercy upon people, they thus repel with good the evils a person would do. Those, indeed: the good end of the worldly abode is theirs alone. Every soul shall taste death. People who act to earn Allah's pleasure in worldly life, whose qualities are listed above, and who in worldly life, for Allah and in Allah's way, by building good relations with people make themselves loved by people, who have good prayers and blessings said after them: these people, the finest end of worldly life, that is, at their death, on passing to the hereafter, are people Allah welcomes with a smiling face. And a great reward, the gardens of Paradise, are for these people.
