What is said in the video
Ar-Ra'd Surah, we have come to its 29th verse. How blessed are those who believe and do good deeds, says Allah Almighty. How blessed are those who believe and do good deeds. And the beautiful abode to be reached is theirs, He says. There are 7 billion people in the world, I think, right? 7 billion? It's approaching 8 billion. Approaching 8 billion. Out of 8 billion, 3 billion? There are around 3 billion Muslims. 3 billion. So roughly one third.
Although they are all Allah's creations, how blessed are those who believe and do good deeds, He says. Among so many people. Those who believe and do good deeds. And the beautiful abode to be reached is theirs, He says. Yes. Those who believe in Allah and the hereafter, who stand firm on the straight path, who carry out Allah's commands, who do good deeds, who do not sever the ties of kinship, who help the poor and the needy, who give their zakat and charity, who keep up their obedience and worship, who for Allah's sake strive with their wealth and their lives – how blessed are they. They are pleased with Allah, and Allah is pleased with them.
Their destination is the eternal gardens of Paradise, the beautiful abode. Every person in the world is a traveler, in the transient world of dominion, being hosted in a guesthouse. The host, again our Lord, offers man every kind of blessing. He feeds, He gives drink. He gives a life. And in the end this guest, this body, will depart this world. Every soul shall taste death and your return is to Me, He says. Man knows that he is in a guesthouse in this world. If he does not behave harshly toward the host, is content with what the host gives and is pleased with the host, the host too is pleased with him.
In this case, man becomes spoiled.
He sees what is given to him as little. In the host's place, he sees himself as the host, and if he turns his back on that host, in the end he is caught. The owner of our house, the owner of the dominion, is Allah; that is, in this world we are in a guesthouse. In our lifetime, a traveler. Through what we do, through our dealings, we prove what kind of person we are. In this case every person needs to know the purpose of their creation; their place in the dominion they need to know; and what their end will be, they need to think about. They need to know that where they are going is surely Allah. Because that the Owner of the worlds, the One who created these worlds, is a deity, every rational being knows. In this case, if man is not ungrateful but turns to Allah, then what does He say?
Their destination is the eternal gardens of Paradise, the beautiful abodes, He says.
Now, these people who deny, what do I compare them to? I'll give an example now. I am the sultan. I said to my subjects: I have opened the doors of my treasury. Come and take as much as you want. Whoever takes however much, I will give him that much again. I will give five times more, or ten times more. What kind of reasoning do these people follow, that, because they are angry with me, to the treasury they do not come and take from the treasury, sir, from the treasury's wealth, because they are angry with me; and those who love me, when they take from the treasury, I will give them ten, a great many more. What is this? Those who in this world are grateful to Allah Almighty, those who carry out Allah's command: when you come to the hereafter, He says, I will give you ten times what you bring.
Ten times what you bring. In the hereafter, mind you, not in this world. They say it in this world. (?) ten times over, they say.
And those who turn their backs on Allah, not carrying out Allah's commands, are people who will incur our Lord's wrath. Now, is this a rational person? While every person is in need in this world, let the sultan open the treasury's (?), and while that person is in need, because he is angry with the sultan, let him take nothing from that treasury to meet his need. Yes.
That is exactly the situation of non-Muslims.
