Translation

Say, “in return for this, I do not ask you for remuneration. I ask those among you who want to take a path towards their Lord.”

Tafsir

Allah (swt) addressed the Prophet (s.a.w.) and said, "Say to the people, O people! I am not asking you for any remuneration for recognizing Allah, for knowing Him as Lord, and for explaining to you the straight path that leads to Allah. My desire and request from you is that you obey Allah, the One who created you and me and the worlds.

Our Prophet (s.a.w.), who was created from the light of the worlds and the spirit of human beings, is the most merciful and compassionate of the people who have come to the surface of the earth. Because no creature is as merciful and compassionate as Allah (swt), and because Allah (swt) Himself raised the Prophet (s.a.w.), the Prophet Habib-i Kibriya Hatemen Nebi, by making him a miracle to His Essence, the Prophet (s.a.w.) will certainly be the most merciful and compassionate of the people who come to the earth.

In this respect, the Prophet's (PBUH) sole intention was to warn people from the wrath of Allah. He also wanted those who believe and have faith to attain good positions in Paradise. That is why the Prophet (PBUH), since he came as a mercy to all mankind and the worlds, used to try with all his might to keep people away from the wrath of Allah. He would not listen to the promises of anyone other than Allah, and would stay awake, starve and thirst if necessary, in order to make Allah's commands known to the people. But he did not stop working to guide Allah's servants to Hidayet.

The Muslim who is the ummah of the Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet of Allah, is such a compassionate, mild-tempered, mild-mannered Muslim, the ummah of a Prophet who is armed with the knowledge of Allah, who is the best of human beings, and the ummah of a Prophet who has attained great honors in the sight of Allah.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Furqan, verse 57 Say: I ask of you no wage in return for this. I ask of you those who wish to take a path to their Lord. Those who wish, who want to reach Allah Almighty, such people; Allah Almighty, the Prophet (peace be upon him): these I ask of you, he says. Otherwise, in return, for this knowledge I have told you, or for inviting you to a single god, or for the time I have spent, I ask no wage of you, he says. My wage belongs to Allah alone. Yes. Allah Almighty, addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him): Say to people: O people, for your coming to know Allah, knowing Him as Lord, and for explaining, as the way, the path that leads to Allah, the straight path, I demand no wage from you.

Yes. In this way, none of the prophets ever took a wage from his people. And those who did not listen, Allah Almighty destroyed.

My wish and request of you: the One who created you and me and also the worlds, the only one, Allah, I want you to obey Him. The Prophet (peace be upon him), from whose light the worlds and from whose spirit people were created, is the most merciful and most compassionate of the people who have come to earth. Because no created being is as merciful and compassionate as Allah, and since Allah Almighty chose the Beloved of the Most Great, the (?) Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), for Himself and raised him Himself, since He chose the Prophet (peace be upon him) for Himself and raised him Himself, the Prophet (peace be upon him) will, of all the people who have come to earth, surely be the most merciful and the most compassionate one. Besides this, his mercy and love, his compassion: since all our souls, the souls of all mankind, of the people from our father Adam coming until the Day of Judgment, are indirectly from the Prophet's soul, think of the compassion a father feels for his child.

Think of the love. In the Prophet (peace be upon him) too, since he came as a mercy to the worlds, his love and compassion for people are great. Yes.

Now a question comes to my mind. It may come to your mind too.

If he was so compassionate, why did he wage war on non-Muslims, kill them, is he killing them? Say what is right.

Can a compassionate person kill his own child like this? Now, for the true side of it is this.

Love, passion and affection are for Allah. Although he loves people, since the One who created people, who created the worlds, who created him is Allah Almighty, his passion, affection and love stand far above the love for people. So Allah Almighty's command is worth more to him than his own life. So if Allah Almighty says to give them no quarter, to wage war on them, if He says to fight them until the religion is Islam, and Allah Almighty, of them: "Unbelievers, and I will send them as people of hell, that is, to hell. Those who (?) to Me and come to the hereafter without faith, I will send that way," when He says this, then, since they rebelled against Allah's command, against them with great resolve, with hatred, or let's not say hatred, with enmity, to invite them to Islam he fought.

What does it say? Give time to the one who asks for quarter. Grant him life. He asks for quarter. He says: life for him. If he had been his enemy, even to one asking for quarter he would have given no chance. Yes. So, greater than the Prophet's mercy and love for people is his passion and affection for Allah Almighty, and since, toward Allah's command, compared with the passion all people feel for Allah, their affection and their observance of His command, it is greater, he himself carries out Allah's command. Yes, now that this is understood, we continue our lesson.

For this reason, the sole aim of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is to protect people from Allah's wrath. And to wish that those who believe and have faith attain fine ranks in paradise. For this, since the Prophet (peace be upon him) came as a mercy to all people and the worlds, to keep people away from Allah's wrath he strove with all his might. He paid no heed to anyone's promises but Allah's; to make Allah's commands heard by people, if necessary he would not sleep, he would stay hungry and thirsty. But he never held back from working for Allah's servants to be guided. Yes.

Now, reading this, something comes to my mind. What are we saying? To make Allah's commands heard by people, if necessary he would not sleep. He would stay hungry and thirsty. But from working for Allah's servants to be guided he never held back. The Prophet (peace be upon him), to kings, into other states, would send envoys. To invite them to Islam. The envoys he sent, night and day without rest, sometimes hungry, thirsty, without eating, wanted to reach that land.

Why would they do this? They ask: Why have you today, to the point of ruining yourself, without even eating, sleepless night and day, trodden so many roads to come here? Sir, he says, sir.

Suppose, he says, I were late by one moment; perhaps, when I am to convey Allah's exalted religion, this person, instead of passing to the hereafter as a Muslim, without hearing me; if, deceived by my whims and dallying on the road, I come, and he goes to the hereafter without faith, I will be responsible, he says. Yes. The Prophet (peace be upon him) too, for that reason, struggled to carry out Allah's command. To be free of responsibility. Yes. So the Muslim, of the community of the Beloved of the Most Great, the (?) Prophet Muhammad, of such a merciful, (?), gentle one, equipped with Allah's knowledge, the best of people, being the community of such a prophet, attains great ranks in Allah's knowledge; it is that kind of community. The Islamic community is such a community.

Yes.
