Surely, We know that you are saddened by what they say. In fact, they are not denying you, but those oppressors openly deny Allah’s verses.

Tafsir

To those who deny the Messenger of Allah, Allah does not say in His Verse that they do not deny you, so that His Messenger may not grieve. Those wrongdoers are clearly denying the Verses of Allah. Those who deny the Verses of Allah and persecute their own souls, despite seeing so much truth and reality, deny the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who knows the existence of Allah intimately, and it grieves the Prophet (PBUH), whose heart is not willing that these disbelievers should be dragged into the fire deliberately because of their denial of the Verses of Allah. That is why Allah (swt) said to His Messenger that they do not belie you is because the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had the title of Muhammad al-'Amin among his people. Indeed, people like Abu Jahl said, "O Muhammad! We do not deny you. They said that there is no God who speaks like this and that we deny what He has sent, that is, His Verses.

The fact that these wrongdoers, the wrongdoers to their own souls, deny the Verses of Allah shows that they were not ignorant of the existence of Allah. If they had been ignorant of the existence of Allah, they would not have worshipped the idols they had made with their own hands, nor would they have obeyed them and offered sacrifices in the name of Allah. The fact that every mind was created knowing Allah is a proof that one cannot deny Allah. By their denial of Allah, these are the ones who are unjust to their souls by committing shirk against Allah. Allah calls those who have these beliefs and behaviors, those who associate partners with Allah even though they know Allah, as wrongdoers, and says that they openly deny the Verses of Allah.

What is said in the video

Verse 33 of Surah Al-An'am, yes: what they say, We know that it truly grieves you. They called the Prophet possessed, they called him mad. Don't believe him, they said, as they said to the other prophets. He talks to himself, he tells stories. And some would say: he is a very fine orator, he speaks very well, but he speaks of a world of fantasy. Who used to say this? Abu Lahab. One day the Prophet (peace be upon him), a guest who had come to Mecca, having come as a guest and pitched a nomad tent, the Prophet tells the truth to the people in that tent in very beautiful language. People are amazed. That people, those in the camp, have gathered and are listening with admiration. Hearing of this, (?) comes at once.

After the Prophet (peace be upon him) has been taken outside: do not believe him. This is a man living in a world of fantasy. He speaks in a very fine style and deceives people, he says. And those there say: we too were almost taken in.

Well, in this case, wouldn't the Prophet grieve? He has done his duty. He has explained so much for Allah's sake. When he explained, people had turned with reason, as Allah's servants, to their Lord, and then a two-legged Taghut, by talking like that, people again into Satan's plaything, into following his footsteps, turns them. Of course it grieves a person. What they say, We know that it truly grieves you. In fact they do not deny you. But those wrongdoers openly deny the verses of Allah. They do not deny you. Do you know what the meaning here is? My Beloved, you are My messenger, He says. Everything you say, according to the verse he does not speak from emptiness, is My word.

So if what you say is My word, they are not denying you. They are denying My verses, He says. Do not grieve, He tells him.

Yes. Do not grieve. How beautifully Allah Almighty comforts the Prophet.

In fact they do not deny you. But those wrongdoers openly deny the verses of Allah, it says. Yes. You are not saying anything of your own, He says. You are saying My verses. So if you had said something of your own, then they would have denied you. But since, in your capacity as My messenger, according to the verse he does not speak from emptiness, you speak in no way other than My verses, they are not denying you, He says. They are denying My verses.

Beautiful, isn't it? How beautifully Allah Almighty says it.

Regarding those who deny Allah's Messenger, so that His Beloved would not grieve, Allah Almighty says in the verse: they do not deny you. Those wrongdoers openly deny the verses of Allah, He says. Against those who wrong their own selves, who deny Allah's verses, in the face of this truth and reality, Muhammad (peace be upon him), who knows Allah's existence with certainty, grieves because, as people deny Allah's verses, (?) (?) because of their denial, knowingly, he cannot consent in his heart to their being dragged into the fire. He grieves.

Why does he grieve? What is the reason? If the people listen to the Prophet, they find guidance; if they do not listen, they harm their own selves. So why does he grieve? What is the reason?

A father, however bad his children may be, wants those bad children (?) to the truth, and for those who do not turn he grieves too. Isn't it so? This is a father. Their father.

Since all the worlds were created from his light, and people indirectly from his spirit, the Prophet is the elder and father of people. The elder and father of people. All people are in the position of his children. That is why he grieves. That is why, for them to (?) to the truth, with all his strength he (?). What does it say in the verse? Allah Almighty says: you, for them, We know how much you tear yourself apart and grieve for those people, He says. For those people. In this case, as an elder who wants people to turn to the truth, as a father, as the master of the worlds, of the created, as the elder of the created, and of course as the most merciful of the created, the most compassionate and merciful, the Prophet (peace be upon him) does not want the slightest hurt or torment to come to people; this is one. Second: Allah Almighty placed on the Beloved of the Almighty, (?) and Muhammad (peace be upon him), the founder of a religion that will last until the Day of Judgement, who gathered all religions with the religion of Islam in the Holy Quran, the greatness of a religion that will last until the Day of Judgement.

In this case, out of fear of falling short in his duty, he spends effort upon effort.

That is why Allah Almighty, knowing this state of his, comforts him with many verses. My Beloved, you cannot make the deaf hear. To the dead who turn their backs and go, He says. You cannot make the dead hear. As they turn their backs and go, He says, nor can you make the deaf hear, He says. Yes. In another verse: My Beloved, I sent you to convey, He says. Not to use force. And indeed he did not use force. Yes. Why? Because he grieves. Doesn't it pass through his heart? It does. But he holds himself back. He wants all people to find the truth. Because he is the elder, the father. He will fulfil his duty in the world.

Yes.

So, Allah Almighty telling His Beloved they do not deny you is because Muhammad (peace be upon him), among his own people, received the title Muhammad al-Amin. They do not deny you.

What do they deny? The verses of Allah. Well, by what title was Muhammad known (?) his people? He was known as Muhammad al-Amin. They brought their disputes to him.

The one called Muhammad al-Amin until the age of forty, believers and unbelievers, idolaters and non-idolaters, those who held him trustworthy and consulted him on their disputes, conferred with him; did he become mad after he said Allah is one, after the verses came down?

When, to remove the idols, he said of the servants Allah created, these too are lifeless objects Allah created, and that the owner of these too is the one Allah, was it then that those idolaters gave the Prophet the title mad, possessed, deeming it fitting for him? He was not so until the age of forty. Did he become mad after the age of forty? So who is mad? If a person looks in the mirror, he sees himself. The madman, in the person of the Prophet, those who deny Allah are mad.

Yes. Those who do not use their minds. What sustains human life is reason. Reason. With reason he earns, eats and drinks, protects his honour, dignity and (?), and with his reason and worship he finds his Lord. Without reason, what happens? Mad. Mad. Well, does a madman know Allah? Does a madman know what he eats and drinks? He does. He knows what he eats and drinks. But does he know Allah? He does not. He acts according to his own mind. That is, since he has no reason, however those feelings rule him, by his feelings he acts. He does not know how to use his reason. This is a madman. Well, can you call those other than the non-Muslim sane?

He follows Satan's footsteps, acts by his feelings, does not use his reason; the difference between the real madman and the madman among them: one sustains his life within his own consciousness, the other sustains his life unconsciously; that is all the difference. Those who do not use their reason are mad.

So, sitting with the mad and agreeing with them, believing what the mad say, envying the mad, and following in the footsteps of these mad is forbidden to those who live the religion of Islam; not to resemble them, not to be like them. Those wrongdoers openly deny Allah's verses, He says. Those who wrong their own selves, against those who deny Allah's verses, in the face of this truth and reality, Allah's existence with certainty, the one who knows it, Muhammad (peace be upon him), as people deny Allah's verses knowingly, cannot consent in his heart to their being dragged into the fire, and so he grieves.

So Allah Almighty telling His Beloved they do not deny you is because Muhammad (peace be upon him), among his own people, received the title Muhammad al-Amin. Indeed, people like Abu Jahl said: O Muhammad, we do not deny you. They say it like this. Who is this? Abu Jahl. That is, the father of the ignorant. Yes. O Muhammad, we do not deny you. We deny that there is an Allah who speaks like this, and what He sends, that is, His verses, they said. And so they too prove Allah Almighty's verse in this way. We do not deny you, but since you know that there is no such Allah, no Allah who speaks, we deny them, those verses, he says.

So these wrongdoers are those who are oppressive to their own selves. Their denying Allah's verses, that they are not unaware of Allah's existence, shows. It shows that they are not unaware of Allah's existence. So they know Allah. But they do not know an Allah who speaks. Does Allah speak? If Allah does not speak, how will He send verses? If Allah does not speak, how will He make a covenant with you? If Allah is not seen, how will He call you to account in the court? Still within Islam, many people who say (?). That Allah Almighty will not be seen. They say like some sort of vision, or like a sun.

Good heavens. Look at that thinking.

Well, how did you make the covenant?

He gave you of His spirit.

He created you as a part of His essence.

He addressed you to His essence.

If you can see your spirit right now, you will see Allah too. Since you cannot see your spirit, although you know that you have a spirit, and although you know that spirit is the likeness of your body, you must know that Allah Almighty's essence also exists like that. When will you see? After leaving the garment of the body. After passing to the world of the hereafter. Shall we see in this world, Hodja? If you reach the manifestations in this world, Allah Almighty manifests in the heart as manifestation. He manifests with the attributes of His essence. If you rise to that station.

Look, look, he says, now the Hodja Efendi has seen Allah, he says. Yes. Shall I tell you a verse? A verse. The scholars and the angels bear witness to Allah's existence, it says.

Well, does it say the scholars and the Muslims, the scholars and, let me say, people are made witnesses to Allah's existence? What does it say? The scholars and the angels are made witnesses to Allah's existence. Does it say here that Muslims, people, are made witnesses to Allah's existence? It does not. If it had said Muslims or people are made witnesses to Allah's existence, with the outward and inward word; Allah Almighty's word is both outward and inward. Then I would see my Lord here too. So since Allah Almighty sent people to a (?) world, since He sent them to a world where His essence is not seen, when He says the scholars and the angels, through Allah Almighty's manifestation of essence, those scholars too, not with these eyes but inwardly, through the manifestation in the heart, or through the world of unveiling, Allah Almighty showing him many worlds, they know Allah Almighty's oneness.

Such as what? I am aware of its secret.

The seventh state of the nafs;

only at (?) does a person become aware of this in the world; this secret, what is the secret: the creation of a creature, when it is created, His being free of any deficient attribute; that no created being towards Allah Almighty the words, You created me deficient for the task I will do, cannot use;

but it is not possible to give the explanation there; we do not do it. So, if it has been seen with such certainty, if it has been seen, here is the verse: We, when creating these worlds, did not take Satan and his cronies as witnesses, He says. Those taken as witnesses; one of them is me. Yes, if you travel the world you will find it a bit hard. The verses' counterpart, again, I say, not with these eyes. Because there is a verse, a verse: Allah's word never contradicts itself. Then not in (?); (?) the world with the existence of the spirit, seeing with the existence of his spirit; with the existence of that spirit that knows no matter and meaning, seeing.

So, so if there are two deaths upon the body, there is no death upon spirits. Every soul shall taste death, it says, look. So death is upon the body; there is no death upon the nafs. Spirit, nafs and soul are one. When you come before Me a second time with a driver, He says, after raising our bodies and holding them witness face to face together with the spirit, Allah Almighty will make that body die a second time there. So there is no death upon spirits. Spirit, nafs and soul are one; the bodies are separate. Yes.

So every soul, every soul, will be called to account for what it has earned, and those who deny Allah's verses will come to ruin. So these wrongdoers, those oppressive to their own selves, by denying Allah's verses, show that they are not unaware of Allah's existence.

When we were created in the world of Lahut, each spirit, our spirit, knows it was created. Each spirit knows that it was created. Because there is a sudden coming into being.

In this case, since our Lord created us close to His essence, those who turn their backs on Allah, who deny the Lord out of pride and arrogance, waiting for the Lord of their own imagination, turned their backs on Allah Almighty. In this case all people, without exception, without exception, each of us, at Allah Almighty's address, saw Him, saw Him in the world of Lahut, and one by one made a covenant with Allah Almighty; we came to this hidden world and started from zero, so that man may not say: You sent me to a hidden world; had You made Your essence known to me, I would have known You. Come on, try it, so that man may not say: You created me here like Yourself; here I could not recognise that You are my Lord; had You sent me to a world where Your essence is not seen, there I would have worshipped You. Come on, try it. Allah Almighty is free of any deficient attribute; no one can the slightest deficiency attribute to Him.

Yes.

If they had been unaware of Allah's existence, they would not worship the idols they make with their hands, nor offer obedience and (?) sacrifices to them as God. And what a fine proof this is. Yes. Today Allah Almighty with all (?), no human sees; in the desolate, untouched forests of Africa, we know that even people living as cannibals worship the idols they made for sorcerers. Isn't it so? So even these, although they have seen nothing, know that they were created by a being. Yes.

Every mind being created as one that knows Allah is the proof upon a person that he cannot deny Allah.

By their denial of Allah Almighty, by being in shirk against Allah Almighty, they become oppressive to their own selves. So Allah, to those who are in these beliefs and behaviours, to those who, although they know Allah, associate partners with Allah, addressing them as these wrongdoers, says: they openly deny Allah's verses. They openly deny Allah's verses. Yes.
