They said; “Another miracle should be given (to the Messenger) from his Lord!”. Say; “Allah is capable of sending down any form of miracle you desire.” But most of them don’t comprehend (that they would be hit by a destruction if the miracle would come).
Tafsir
Those who did not want to believe in Allah and His Messenger and despised the Prophet, saying. Why should another miracle be sent down to that Prophet from his Lord! Allah has the power to create all kinds of miracles. If Allah does not give the kind of miracle they want, it is out of His mercy that He does not show miracles to people who do not understand. Otherwise, Allah is all-powerful. In the Holy Qur'an, Allah informs people how He destroyed many tribes who asked Allah for miracles and did not believe in them, by showing examples with His verses. If a people asks Allah for a miracle, and Allah shows it to them, and then they do not believe in it, then a public cause is involved, and He destroys the people who do not believe. As He destroyed the people of Thamud and others like them.
(Say: Allah is able to send down a miracle in the way they desire. But most of them do not know that when such a miracle comes, disaster will befall them). In this verse, we understand that people are ignorant of the greatness of Allah and His omnipotence. As we have explained above, to those people who are incomprehensible, who do not want to believe in Allah and His Messenger, Allah will not destroy them again for the sake of His Messenger, so He does not take their words into consideration, but He addresses only those who obey Allah and His Messenger, and at the same time He addresses those who do not understand and informs them of the truth.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 37 of Surah Al-An'am. Yes. They said, it says. Who are they? The polytheists. Those who opposed the Prophet. They said: if only another miracle were sent down to that Prophet from his Lord. Man's nafs does not hear; it wants news. In any case, if a person gave his covenant as a denier, like the nine miracles shown to Pharaoh, show him as many miracles as you like, since they are lost in suppositions, he says either it is magic, or he has deceived our eyes, and this man is a sorcerer, he says; he makes things up and says them. Yes, if only another miracle were sent down to that Prophet from his Lord; the miracles of the prophets who came are not enough for them, and they still want miracles.
Say: Allah is able to send down a miracle in the way they want. He is able. Salih's people: a camel was brought out of the rock.
Then Lot warned his people. Moses split the sea and crossed it. Isn't that so? Then with Noah, with the flood, everything everywhere was destroyed. Many miracles came. When people did not believe those miracles, Allah Almighty (?), and destroyed them. So Allah Almighty says: I am able to send a miracle such as they want. Then, as I said a moment ago: I sent you as a mercy to the worlds. I also know that they will not believe, and since there is no change in our way, it would then be necessary to destroy them. But as long as you are among them, I will not destroy them, He says.
Yes, let us see what the verse says now. Say: Allah is able to send down a miracle in the way they want, but most of them do not know that when such a miracle comes, disaster will come upon them, it says. They do not know the disaster that would come upon them. What disaster is this? The disaster of destruction.
Well, what if He gave them destruction like He gave the other prophets? It cannot be. Why? Allah's word would contradict itself. It would run against itself. How so? Both send the Prophet as a mercy to the worlds and destroy them. These contradict each other. That is why Allah Almighty does not pay heed to what they say to that degree; in line with His verses He shows people the way.
Those who do not want to believe in Allah and His Messenger, and who belittle the Prophet in their own selves, said: if only another miracle were sent down to that Prophet from his Lord. Allah Almighty has the power to create every kind of miracle. Beside the miracle Allah Almighty would create, what people would ask for is not even like a speck. Why is it not even like a speck? Why?
Allah Almighty created these worlds from nothing. From the light of His essence, Allah Almighty created the light of the Prophet. Then from that light these seven heavens and the worlds He created. From his light the angels, from his light the devils, from his light many more beings we do not know He created. These seven layers, the Throne and the Kursi, were created from his light. Then He gave the Prophet of His spirit. And from his spirit He created human beings. Yes.
In this case, before Allah Almighty's art of creation, before His bringing into being from nothing, people asking of Allah Almighty with their partial minds (?). In the oceans. Because however much the partial mind may ask, it is a mind not able to create. Before the Creator, what it asks becomes a speck in the oceans. Yes. In this case how great Allah Almighty is, how much power and might He has, becomes clear. So what do those harmful people say? Allah is able to send down a miracle in the way they want. He is able to send it down in every way. But most of them, that when such a miracle comes disaster will come upon them, do not know.
In this verse it is explained that people are unaware of Allah's freedom, of His being able to do all things.
As we explained above, their minds cannot grasp this. For the sake of His Beloved, Allah will not again give destruction to people who do not want to believe in Allah and His Messenger; so He does not take their words seriously, and only to those who obey Allah and His Messenger, and at the same time, obeying also those who do not understand words, He makes the truths known to us. Yes.
