Say; “I do not say that Allah’s treasures are with me and I do not know the unseen (ghayb). I also do not say that I am an angel. I only follow the Qur’an which was revealed to me.” Say; “Is the one who is blind equal to the one who can see? Will you not think?”

Tafsir

Allah (swt) said to the Prophet (s.a.w.), "Say to the people, I am not saying that I have the treasures of Allah with me." This means that man is fond of the world. There is nothing he will not do in exchange for material goods. If the Prophet (s.a.w.) said, "I have the treasures of Allah with me, I will give them to whoever wants them." In exchange for material goods, unbelievers and polytheists appear to believe and think that they have deceived Allah and His Messenger. However, they increase their own disbelief. So that they do not become hypocrites, so that everyone can live their covenant on earth with free thought, Allah, Who has given people their own desires and wishes as their destiny, creates events for them to reveal their destiny and live out their traits, without any side-effects and without any pressure on them. The fact that he says, "I do not say that the treasures of Allah are with me" means that every human being believes in the nature of the covenant that he has made with Allah, without being influenced by it.

(I also do not know the unseen) because Allah knows everything. And to the extent that He reveals it to people, people are honored with Allah's knowledge. The unseen of everything is reserved for Allah. It is Allah who knows the hidden and the manifest.

(If Allah sends a Prophet to a nation, He sends a Prophet from his own kind. He has also sent Prophets to human beings from their own kind. In addition, since people who do not know themselves magnify angels in their eyes, because of their belief in angels, they can say, "I am not an angel," again without any spiritual pressure on anyone, without deceiving people, and everyone should know Allah with their free thought.

People are admirers of angels. Yes, angels are loved. Because they have no ego. In this case, Allah has programmed them with the attributes that will make them remember His Essence. These angels recite Allah's Essence with the attributes that Allah has willed, with different attributes, without tiring of it. Human beings, on the other hand, have a soul. He has a soul. He is the best of the created beings. He is the addressee of Allah's Zat. No being has been created higher than man. Humans, on the other hand, have forgotten the purpose of their creation and have become admirers of angels. Even if the Prophet came to these people in the guise of an angel, these people would say, "How do we know you are an angel? The person who does not believe will not believe again.

(Say: I follow only the Qur'an that has been revealed to me.) The Prophets who come to invite people to Allah have the duty to inform people of Allah's commands and prohibitions without following the desires and wishes of people. So say, 'I follow only the Verses of Allah and I am duty-bound to convey them to the people.

(If people do not use their minds in the face of all these miracles and events, if they follow the path of the nafs and the devil, if they turn their backs on Allah, then of course these people have had their hearts sealed and cannot comprehend the miracles of Allah, even though they see them. They are blind.

People who do not fear the greatness and power of Allah, people who live in the temporal world in the face of the greatness and power of their own nafs, in the face of the greatness and power of their own nafs, taking Allah for granted, living by their nafs, cannot comprehend Allah. They cannot think properly either. They prefer to follow the ways of their nafs even though their intellect shows them the truth. Again, although their intellect points to the truth, they prefer the swampy path shown by the nafs and organize their lives accordingly, and they cannot think in the face of all these events. They cannot use their intellect. Allah (swt) says in a verse: "I will hold you to account for not using your intellect".

What is said in the video

Say: I do not tell you that the treasures of Allah are with me. Indeed, who is the owner of the universe? Allah. If the absolute ruler of this universe is Allah, if the heavens and the earth and what is between them knew the remembrance of their Lord, then the heavens and the earth and what is between them — Allah, besides whom there is no god, who subsists by Himself, created them. Moreover, every soul shall taste death. If He says the inheritance of the heavens and the earth and what is between them will remain to Allah,

if the keys of the unseen are also in the hand of Allah Almighty, the keys of the unseen — and since we cannot know the unseen, this whole universe is Allah's treasury. Beside that treasury we have no right at all, nor are we aware of those treasures. What does it say? Say: I do not say that the treasures of Allah are with me. Yes. Nor do I know the unseen. The keys of the unseen are in the hand of Allah Almighty. Nor do I tell you that I am an angel. Because you make much of the angel, but in fact we are above the angels. The angels were created from the light of the Prophet; to the Prophet Allah Almighty gave of His spirit. He is far above the angels.

I only follow the Quran that is revealed to me. Say: are the blind and the seeing equal? Will you not reflect, then?

How honoured people are on earth — they interpreted the verses wrongly as being for the Children of Israel, you know: We made you honoured above the worlds, He says.

We (made) you — they say He is saying it to the Children of Israel — above the worlds. There too, it is now written below it. It says there was a people there, superior to those peoples. Allah, His servants — does not discriminate among His servants. If He says We created you honoured above the worlds, created you superior, it is our creation as human beings. Just as when He addresses one prophet He is addressing all people, likewise if He said to them as human beings, I created you honoured above the worlds, created you superior — because you are human, as a human you are above the created. You have a rank above the created.

But not you — people. People. So if the meanings of the verses are not known, they attribute them to people part by part.

Allah Almighty, addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him), to people: Say: I do not tell you that the treasures of Allah are with me. No one can know Allah's treasures.

As I said earlier, even if He gave me the world and gave me its sovereignty too and made me immortal — since I cannot do without Him, I would not accept. And He would give me that many treasures. How many more treasures there are is not known. If I cannot carry these, I could never carry the others.

These are Allah's treasures. From this, to me: man is devoted to the world; in return for material things there is nothing he would not do. If the Prophet (peace be upon him) had said: Allah's treasures are with me, to whoever wants I will give, as material reward, the unbelievers, the polytheists would seem to believe and think they had deceived Allah and His Messenger. But they only increase their own kufr. So, so that they do not fall into the state of hypocrites, so that everyone can live his own covenant on earth with free thought, Allah, who gives people their own desires and wishes to them as destiny, without pressuring them in any way through side effects, so that they live out the traits that their own destinies will reveal, bring to light, creates events for them. So His saying I do not say Allah's treasures are with me means that each person, the nature of the covenant he gave to Allah, the person himself, without being under any influence, believes or does not believe.

Believes or does not believe. Otherwise: Allah's treasures are with me, come on, you who become Muslim take this, so much money, so much property, so much wealth; to Allah, I will say Allah, he says; come, Allah said, he says — while it has nothing to do with Allah. Everything would drown in boasting, and you would have increased their kufr. And because we are mistaken, because we do not know what state they are in, we would have brought ourselves down. See how beautifully Allah Almighty says it. Say: Allah's treasures are not with me. I am a human being like you, He says. Yes.

So, His saying I do not say Allah's treasures are with me is that each person, the nature of the covenant he gave to Allah, the person himself, believes or does not believe without being under any influence; that is, this kind of saying Allah's treasures are not with me — Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, it corresponds to that verse.

When He said I am your Lord, without influencing or pressuring anyone, the decisions everyone made with their own free will become their destiny. Yes. Nor do I know the unseen. Because Allah knows the judgement of everything. To people, as far as (?), people are honoured with Allah's knowledge. The unseen of everything belongs to Allah alone. It is Allah who truly knows the hidden and the manifest. Nor do I tell you that I am an angel. If Allah Almighty sends a prophet to a nation, He sends a prophet of their own kind. To people too He sent prophets of their own kind. Moreover, because people who have not known themselves make much of angels in their eyes, because of their belief toward angels, by saying I (?) an angel, again without putting spiritual pressure on anyone, without people being deceived, it is that everyone knows Allah with their free thought.

Here we come across a word like this. Moreover, because people who have not known themselves make much of angels in their eyes — people who have not known themselves cannot know that they were created from the light of the Prophet, whereas Allah Almighty then gave him from the spirit of the Prophet, and that he himself is a part of the spirit of the Prophet, that he was created indirectly — he cannot know this, and he sees the angel as superior to himself. So here, when I say people who do not know themselves — yes, angels, because they make much of them in their eyes, because of their belief toward angels, by saying I am not an angel, again without spiritual pressure on anyone, without people being deceived, it is that everyone knows Allah with their free thought.

People are admirers of angels. Angels.

In Germany, when I said people are far above the angels, the poor hodjas there — poor indeed — but a man came here, they say, angels — he held people above the angel. With such words they prove how deep in ignorance they themselves are. In ignorance. He holds man above the angel, they say.

Have you never read?

I created man as the noblest of creatures, He says. That is, the most honoured of the created. He does not say to the angel: I created you the noblest of creatures. How beautiful. I made man the vicegerent on earth. He does not say to His angels: I made you vicegerent there.

Yes. Likewise, the one whose will is in his hands and those whose will is not are not equal.

People are admirers of angels; yes, angels are loved. Why? They are genderless and sinless. Because they are completely submissive to Allah's command. Because there is no nafs in them. In this case Allah programmed into them His attributes by which His Essence is remembered. Tirelessly, the attributes Allah wills — different angels, with different attributes, remember Allah's Essence. Man, however, carries a nafs, has a spirit, is the most excellent of the created, is addressed by the Essence of Allah Almighty. No being has been created higher than man. People, however, have forgotten the purpose of their creation and become admirers of angels.

Anyway, even if those who were prophets to these people had come in the form of angels, then these people would say: how are we to know you are an angel? The one who does not believe will still not believe. Say: I only follow the Quran that is revealed to me. The prophets who came to invite people to Allah, without following people's desires and wishes, are charged with making Allah's commands and prohibitions known to people. Yes. If you notice, we too do not follow anyone's desires and wishes. What do we do? We hand the truth to everyone. If you tell me let's do this like this and this, well, I tell you this.

You do it the way you want. Because you cannot change people's destiny. You can do it the way you want. Because no one has any pressure over anyone. Only enjoining good, or to the one who asks you, in the light of the verses, you show the way. Then if he continues in the direction he knows, sees himself as right and sets out to choose that direction, well, we say go ahead, do it that way. But my saying go ahead, do it that way does not mean I approve of it. I approve of the decision you will make within your own destiny. It is your destiny.

Because I told you the truth at the start. Do it or don't.

Yes. Say: I only follow the Quran that is revealed to me. The prophets who came to invite people to Allah, without following people's desires and wishes, are charged with making Allah's commands and prohibitions known to people. For this reason: say, I only follow Allah's verses and I am charged with conveying them to people.

Well, are the blind and the seeing equal? In the face of so many miracles and events, if man does not use his reason, goes the way of the nafs and Satan, and turns his back on Allah, of course these people, because they had their hearts sealed, cannot comprehend Allah's miracles although they see them. They look but are blind.

Those who do not fear Allah's majesty and power, in the face of the majesty and power of man's own nafs, who live by their nafs in the passing world, taking Allah lightly, cannot comprehend Allah. Nor can they think as they should. Although their reason shows the right, they prefer to be on the paths their nafs shows. Again, although their reason shows the right, choosing the swamp path that the nafs shows, they arrange their lives accordingly. In the face of so many events they cannot think. They cannot use their reason. In one verse Allah Almighty says: because you did not use your reason, I will call you to account.

Yes. Because you did not use your reason, I will call you to account. Blessed are those who use their reason. Blessed are those who see the right and turn away from their nafs. Yes. Blessed are those who, in that hard moment, in that want, in that torment, put their trust in Allah and are patient.
