Translation

When they are told to prostrate before ar-Rahman, they say, “Who is Rahman. Are we going to prostrate before something by your command?” And this (Command) increases their rejection.

Tafsir

When the polytheists and disbelievers are told to prostrate to the Most Merciful, they do not prostrate to Allah, Who created them, out of hatred and hatred. If Allah had not mentioned the attribute of Merciful on mankind, He would have destroyed them because of their rebellion and hatred of Allah.

The disbelievers and polytheists have denied Allah and the Prophet, even though they know that they were created, because they have extended their imagination to Allah. They imagine their gods in their minds and imaginations according to their own minds. They sculpt with their hands the materials of Allah's creation and worship those who can neither benefit nor harm even themselves. And when they are called to Allah when they are told to prostrate to the Most Merciful, they say, "Who is He, would we ever prostrate to that which You command us?

Merciful: He has mercy on His servants. He is exempt from all deficient attributes. He is the one who gives life to human beings with the attribute of Merciful in the realm of the property He has sent human beings to, within a lifetime He has given them to keep Him as a witness to Himself. At the end of their lifetime, the rebellious ones are taken by the angels on duty and thrown to the places they deserve.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Furqan, verse 60. When they are told, "Prostrate to the Most Merciful," they say, "The Most Merciful — what is that? Shall we prostrate to whatever you command us?" and this command increases their aversion. Whose? The non-Muslims', the disbelievers', the idolaters'. What does it increase? It increases their aversion. Why? Because when we made the covenant with Allah Almighty in (?), with their own desires and wishes, expecting the Lord of their imagination, with their pride and arrogance turning their backs on Allah Almighty who created them — people who, toward our Lord, are in hatred, arrogance and pride, of course, since they did not recognize Allah, and since their desires and feelings became their destiny, when they come into the world, in the same character, toward Allah Almighty their hatred will increase.

With their nafs-driven feelings, the (?) that Satan put on their necks, with that yoke, will pull them toward idols, toward what their nafs likes, and will make the person buy eternal hell while still in this world. Yes. When the polytheists and disbelievers are told, "Prostrate to the Most Merciful," these people, with hatred and aversion, saying "The Most Merciful — who is the Most Merciful?", to Allah who created them do not prostrate. Yes.

The worlds have a single owner, and that is Allah. There is no god besides Him. The sovereignty over all created things, over this dominion and His creation, is in the hand of the One, Allah Almighty.

If Allah had not mentioned His attribute Rahman upon people,

because of their rebellion and the hatred they feel toward Allah, Allah Almighty would have destroyed them. Why? Allah Almighty uses His attribute Rahman toward people. That's right. That is: in the universe, My mercy is for everyone. Without distinction. (?) for everyone.

It said: Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes.

Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes.

That is Allah Almighty's attribute of being God. What is this attribute? No one will be able to question Him or call Him to account. Why is that? That is, if we were in the right, would Allah Almighty — since besides His Self there is no one — make His injustice, His oppression manifest upon us? Never. So whatever we would ask, whatever we would say — we did it in the world and will see its recompense — in such a way that no one will be able to say to Allah Almighty, "But I was like this," "I was going to do this like that, but I was like this." Why? Whatever he did will come forth as a witness about him.

It will say: "This is what you were." How does He prove this? What does He say in the verse? Did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are? How beautiful. Now then, why did Allah Almighty send us here? So that we prove what kind of person we are, He sent us to this realm of mulk. So here — the religious, the irreligious, the idolater, be it the Magian, be it the devil-worshipper, the fire-worshipper — so that He may hold each one as witness to himself, since within a set lifespan He gives them their provision, He uses His attribute Rahman. Rahman. Yes. No distinction. The distinction is in the Hereafter.

If Allah had not mentioned His attribute Rahman upon people, because of their rebellion and the hatred they feel toward Allah, Allah Almighty would have destroyed them. Although the disbelievers and polytheists know they were created, the Allah of their imagination they (?), and so they denied Allah and the Prophet. That is, the Allah Almighty he saw, because he saw Him as being like himself, in Him he did not believe; because he expected the Lord of his imagination, Allah Almighty he denied at the call "Elestü bi Rabbiküm". And that was written for him as his destiny.

Now, that Allah Almighty was in human form — look how beautifully this verse tells you now; I'll read it to you here.

The day its duration.

Something's gone missing here. The letter Z (?).

Well and oh Yes.

Look, Surah Al-Furqan, verse 1.

I'll open this up for you; I'm reading the verse to you. Infinite is the goodness and blessing

of the One who, of the One who sent down the Furqan upon His servant, so that he may be a warner to all the worlds. What does it say here? Listen well. Maybe you didn't understand anything from this verse just now. Infinite is the goodness and blessing of the One who — who is this? Allah Almighty — sent down the Furqan upon His servant so that he may be a warner to all the worlds. Such a Being that the dominion of the heavens and the earth is His, it says. And He has taken no son. And He has no partner in His dominion. He has created everything. He is the one who determines its destiny. Now, what was I teaching you with these two verses?

If you pay attention, in both verses, and in many verses, the word "zat" (being) occurs. The word "zat". Zat. Don't we too refer to people as "such-and-such a zat"? So where does this word "zat" come from? The universal spirit: Allah Almighty. We say "His divine Zat", see.

And for the other we say "zat-ı muhterem", the honourable person. The partial spirit is in man. So we said that in no being other than man is there a spirit. Only man has a spirit. Why did I tell you this now in this way? So, in His address, Allah Almighty was seen exactly in human form. So then those disbelievers grew boastful, grew proud. In their boasting and pride, Allah Almighty they did not recognize as Creator, and they rebelled. In the world, too, when Allah Almighty is mentioned, people — they become distressed and rebel. (?) Yes.

Now, do they not know Allah at all? They know Him. In fact, had they not known — look, had they not known Allah — they would not, in opposition to Allah Almighty, have made idols and worshipped those idols. Now I'll read you one more verse here.

Look, what does it say now? My Messenger, say: "If you know, tell me, to whom do this world and what is in it belong?" it says. To whom do they belong? They will say: "To Allah." "Then will you not reflect?" say, it says.

"Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the mighty Throne?" ask, it says. They will say: "These too belong to Allah." They know Allah — look, do you see? They will say: "They are Allah's." "Then do you not fear Allah?" say, it says. "If you know, tell me: the One in whose hand is the dominion of all things, their ownership and governance, who protects and guards everything but is Himself not protected, who has no need of it — who is He?" ask, it says. They will say: "All of these are Allah's." "Then how are you so bewitched?" If you do not prostrate to what He commands, you too, like the accursed one, will be cursed.

The Most Merciful is He who shows mercy to His servants. He is free of all deficient attributes. In the realm of mulk to which He sent man, so that He may hold him as witness to himself, within the lifespan He gave him, He is the One who, with His attribute Rahman, gives life to people.

At the end of their lives, the angels in charge seize the (?) by their forelocks and cast them where they deserve. Yes.
