Translation

Blessed is Allah, Who has created constellations in the sky and Who made in them a lantern (the sun) and a Nur (light - the moon) that illuminates.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) has created the heavens in such a way that He has placed twelve zodiac signs according to the system of sun, earth and moon in proportion to their ranges. And He has placed the sun, which He calls a lamp, in the firmament. His intention in saying that it hosts a luminous moon is that by placing the sun, earth and moon system in the sky, He has made the world benefit from the sun's rays. By placing the lunar system and the calendar event in the sky, He has made a planet that connects them to each other. There is neither a situation in which they reach and collide with each other, nor is there a situation in which this system is disrupted by separating from each other. Since their order was not disturbed in the heavens, Allah (swt) used the dictionary of the host.

These events show people the power of Allah's knowledge as well as His power of creation. When the sun strikes the moon in the evening and the moon's light illuminates the world in the darkness of the night, it means that he made the moon illuminated.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Furqan, verse 61.

He who placed constellations in the sky and houses within them a lamp, that is the sun, and a shining moon — Allah is the Most High of the high.

What are the constellations in the sky? The 12 months. As the earth turns around the sun stage by stage, spring, summer, autumn, winter — the four seasons come about. Each of them: the earth's turning around the sun, around its own axis, is completed in 365 days and 6 hours. So these 365 days and 6 hours, by 12, if we divide them, come to 30 days. 30–31 days. Right? Sometimes in February — those 365 days and 6 hours, what do they make? Every 4 years they make 24 hours. One day — February has 29. Yes. Besides, Allah Almighty has placed the lunar system, the moon system, in the sky. Thus He established the Hijri month reckoning.

With the Hijri month reckoning, on condition of not doing people even an atom's worth of injustice, He set the sky up as a calendar. He placed the calendar in the sky.

Where is the injustice here? Now it's summer, right? Here I fast for 17 hours. On the other side it's winter. He fasts 12 hours. When winter comes here, I fast 12 hours; he fasts 17 hours. Fine. Just. No injustice at all. Yes. Allah Almighty created the heavens in such a way that, according to the sun, earth and moon system, He placed 12 constellations in proportion to their stations. And within the heavens He placed the sun, which He calls a lamp. What He means by "houses a shining moon" is: placing the sun, earth and moon system in the sky, He has let the earth benefit from the sunlight. And with the moon system He placed the calendar in the sky and made a planet that binds them to one another.

Yes, a shining moon. Why shining? At night it disappears, but there is light in the moon. Because when the earth turns, when its back is turned to the sun, when half of the earth has its back to the sun, half is night, half is day. Half night, half day. When it's night, since the moon in the sky takes its light from the sun, it (?) the earth. It saves the earth from pitch darkness. Yes. Neither do these reach and collide with each other, nor do they drift apart so that this system breaks down — there is no such thing. Since their order in the heavens is not disrupted, Allah Almighty used the word "houses".

Now, Allah Almighty also says this in one verse. "We create what We create firmly," He says. If He created it firmly, there is no flaw in it. Then, if He created it firmly, will Doomsday not come? In the end there is a breakdown after all. About that, too, He says this: "You will bring about Doomsday with your own hands," He says. And today the ozone layer has been pierced by perfumes. (?) by erasing the magnetism at the North Pole, thus the earth's rotation around its own axis becomes deficient. In their fear they're trying to repair the ozone layer, but what's done is done. It can't be repaired again.

No one can repair it.

What is this like? "We," He says, "have let fresh water and salt water flow alongside each other."

"Never," He says, "do they mix with each other." I have a picture of it here on my phone. Give me my phone so I can show them. Give me the phone. Yes, sir.

Here, let me type it so it comes up.

Now I'll show you the video here. Look here. So they say "we can't see it", but let them see this then. From here. Look, a very beautiful sea. A beautiful sea. This is a video.

Now we'll come to the place where Captain Cousteau shouted. We'll come to where he said "I found it". Look. Look at the sea. Now it's split in two. One fresh, one salty. One fresh, one salty.

Look, the same sea. One fresh, one salty. There's a barrier between them; they don't mix. Don't the two mix with each other? Well, and how are you going to join this air back together? Do you have that power? You're going to prevent Doomsday.

These events, just as with Allah's power of creation, also show people the power of His knowledge. When evening comes, the sun — the sun striking the moon, and the moon's light, in the darkness of night, illuminating the earth: that is the meaning of "He made the moon shining". Surely Allah is One in His Self; the secret of creating belongs to His Self alone; the heavens and the earth and what is between them are Allah's. Allah gives life to His creation and is compassionate, abundant in pardon and forgiveness; as the absolute owner and ruler of the universe, whose Self has neither an equal nor a likeness — the glory of Allah is the highest of the high.

The glory of Allah.

These events, just as with Allah's power of creation, also show people the power of His knowledge. What are we saying? When evening comes, the sun striking the moon and the moon's light, in the darkness of night illuminating the earth — that is the meaning of His making the moon shining. Surely Allah is One in His Self; the secret of creating belongs to His Self alone. The heavens and the earth and what is between them are Allah's. Allah gives life to His creation and is compassionate. Abundant in pardon and forgiveness. In the universe — the universe's absolute owner and ruler. Here we should say "of the universe".

Of the universe. Yes.

As the absolute owner and ruler of the universe. The glory of Allah, whose Self has neither an equal nor a likeness, is the highest of the high. "Now, Hodja, I'll ask you a question." Go ahead, ask. "Well, didn't He resemble man? What did you say here? Whose Self has neither an equal nor a likeness. You said that here. Well, didn't we resemble Him?" Well, my son, if you were a professor, and you were unique in that professorship, would there be anyone like you? In the professorship. Or if you were the master of that science, and no one but you knew that science, would you have in that science an equal or a likeness?

That is what equal and likeness mean. It's not about likeness in the attributes of the Self. Not likeness. Because Allah Almighty gave from His spirit — the whole attribute is Allah Almighty's, a part of it is in people. Yes. Now the meaning of likeness and equal is understood. A man says, for example, "Are you my equal? What are you talking about?" Right? Yes. For example, someone does a science, builds a robot, and say no one but him can build that robot. Go on, make one like it. You can't. That knowledge is his. So are you like him then? Are you his equal? Likeness and equal are meant in this sense.

Otherwise, in attributes we are likenesses of our Lord. We are His parts, His parts. His parts.

In raising a person, Allah Almighty takes him through many stages. In those stages he passes, when knowledge is later given to people, he understands what it is.

That much is enough.

Yes.

"Hodja, that much is enough, you said — what does it mean?" If you ask, I'll explain a little then, but your mind will either grasp it or not.

When He has raised them, when we look at people like this, as if on earth the God who is One, Allah, were walking about, they say. You even see people as god. It's a part of Him, after all, His Self. My Allah, (?) No, it's not my head. So — a hidden (?) of Him. Later one understands.

While people are being raised, they go through many tumults. Then He reinforces them with verses. After that, the person's life is always under the flow of verses. Otherwise, learning from Ahmet and Mehmet, you open up these verses only this much.
