They spend their nights prostrating to their Lord and standing up (praying in - qiyam).
Tafsir
Such are the people of piety, the people who have surrendered to Allah wholeheartedly, who have thrown away the evil in their souls for the sake of Allah, and who have become perfect in their souls. These are the people who, in the silence of the night, at a time when people were lying down and sleeping and disbelief was rampant, shone in the night like the sun of the day with their worship of their Lord.
At night, after sleeping for a while, they get up and pray the tahajjud prayers until the time of 'imsak. They perform their servitude to Allah (swt) in prostration and qiyam and present their case to their Lord under the mercy of Allah (swt). When the Muslims get up and pray the Fajr prayers, they sleep for a while at a time when the disbelievers lie down. The righteous servants of Allah will shield the disbelievers from the calamities that Allah (swt) will inflict on the disbelievers during the night, and Allah (swt) will not inflict calamities on that town for the sake of His righteous servants.
What is said in the video
The 64th verse. They spend their nights prostrating to their Lord and standing in prayer. Such are the people of taqwa, who have surrendered to Allah from the heart and cast off the evils in their nafs for Allah's sake, people whose nafs has become perfect.
In the silence of the night, at a time when people lie down and sleep and kufr too has gone far in its rebellion, within the night, by worshipping their Lord these are people who shine like the daytime sun.
After sleeping for a while at night they get up and, until the time of imsak, they perform the tahajjud prayer. They express their servanthood to Allah in prostration and standing, and under Allah's mercy they present their state to their Lord.
When the Muslims get up and perform their morning prayer, at a time when kufr is lying down, they too lie down for a while and sleep. Within the night, in the face of the deniers' rebellion, against the calamities Allah Almighty would give these denying people, Allah's righteous servants become a shield. For the sake of His righteous servants, Allah Almighty does not send calamities to that land.
Which verse does this correspond to? In my view it is what the verses mean anyway; we don't separate them. Some are yellow. It says, when We are going to bring calamity upon a land, the righteous servants who believe in their prophets We bring out of that land together with him, it says. Yes.
